Decent selections but prices should have been lower.

Not that much there. High prices and old books.

Prices are way too high. You can get the same (used) books elsewhere for 25%-50% of the prices listed here, or a new version from Amazon for ~the same price. Seemed like a nice enough guy…would probably do a lot more business if he lowered the prices. No one’s going to pay $20 for a used copy of Book X when they get it brand new for $18 online. If you’re going to sell used books, the idea is to do volume.

Worse, insofar as the proprietor engages, he’s nearly unpleasant.

There was a guy watching videos on his computer. We were the only ones there. We were there for some time and he didn't even look up, never mind say hello. I was going to come back for some first edition classics but he didn't seem interested in making money so I wasn't interested in giving him any. Pretentiousness doesn't make a business.
