Dr. Britton and her staff are super knowledgeable and kind. They really care about their patients. My sky loves going to see them all! And when my Tinkerbell passed they were so comforting and took their time with us knowing how hard it was to see our baby go. I highly recommend!!

Do you want Great care , a vet that is compassionate and listens , and won’t break the bank and charge you for services you don’t need , then look no further Dr Britto and staff are amazing . I was going here a few years back and in fact Jackie has taken care of my horses years ago until I moved . In that time I had also tried another animal hospital in Dighton as it was closer .
Closer means nothing if the vet you’re going to is rude , condescending, and charging for services you really don’t need, not to mention the medical documentation was awful.
I made a call to Dr Britto’s office and switched my fur kids over . The 25-30 min drive is so worth it knowing they are loved and cared for by a great vet and human being . Jackie and her staff listened to my concerns they didn’t talk over me , and was extremely thorough with my boxer puppy . I thought I needed a specific vaccine and turned out I did not as we don’t leave home , now Mrs Britto could’ve said yes and charged me a ton of money , however instead she talked to me about it and we decided it was not necessary. It’s rough when you are disabled and on a budget but love your babies so much .
She loves rescues and has been known to help several and advocates for them which truly melts my heart! She will be caring my horse again as well. I trust her . Again kindness goes along way!
Dighton was awful , last time in December while there a few dogs began barking , as dogs do in vets they are scared. The Dighton animal hospital made people wait in their car as they stated “ they didn’t want to hear barking .” They were quite rude to many patrons and pets. They also make you lift your let up and put them in the table and hold them. I tried explaining that I had hip surgery and could not do such and they became irritated with me and my pup .
I asked Dr Britto’s staff if they could help me get my girl out of the car as she was in the car with her husky sister and didn’t want to get out , they didn’t hesitate to help me .
Please look. No further if you want a great vet .
Only con I see is no Er calls at this time ,and it can take a week or so for an appt However they do their best to help .

It is so relieving to have a local place that truly cares about the animals in its care. The doctor takes her time in explaining what she is seeing with your pets (and in plain terms that you can understand), and the techs are great at breaking down what needs to be done and what follow-up care or appointments are needed. The daycare gives my dog great exercise and a workout, and I appreciate that they try to keep her clean even when the weather outside is horrific. Price is what is; I'd love to pay less, but I appreciate they have a ton of staff around that need to eat. Still haven't found a better bargain in the area though.

My fiancé and I took our 6 month old kitten to Dr. O’Donnell and they were amazing! So good with him and super friendly with us! Paige the vet tech was awesome! Great first time experience! Will be taking the rest of our fur family here from now on!☺

Excellent care everyone there is so kind and compassionet sadly I had to help 2 of my fur babies who were very old and sick on the journey to Rainbow Bridge in the past couple of yrs.I was a mess but they were so kind and understanding. Love Dr. Britto and all the staff❤.💕💕💕💕⚘

Best vet ever! Love all of them. Dr. Brito is amazing. She has been taking care of my American Staffordshire for years. She has done multiple surgeries on my dog and allowed me many extra years with my beloved fur baby. My dog Roxi is now 13 years old! I recommend her and them to anyone. Her prices are also very very reasonable. ❤❤

My Rex a small 11lb chipoo was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor about 6 weeks ago. I was devastated to say the least. Petrified of losing my best friend and beyond sick to my stomach. I called many places and spoke to many clinics and honestly I could not afford ANY of them. There is not a lot of compassion if you can't afford treatment. I truly felt hopeless and defeated. Then on a whim I called the humane society who suggested I try The Village Veterinary Hospital. I am so thankful for that call. Here is were I met Dr.Brito and her staff, And I am thankful for each person I had the pleasure of interacting with here. They are truly for the animals! Each staff member was kind compassionate and actually listens to your concerns. Dr. Brito is honest and straight forward. Which is greatly appreciated and refreshing. She is kind, caring, and also compassionate which I could quickly pick up on. She made it affordable to me and truly gave me hope when no one else would. I could never thank her and her staff enough. Also as far as the surgery she did a amazing job getting wide enough margins. I am so relieved to be able to say his biopsy came back clean! I will always come here, this is now my first choice vet hand down! She is not about money, she absolutely loves animals and it shines through the moment you meet her!

So far we have been using village vet for about a year. The only complaint i have is that their response time is very slow. Then agian they are a very busy place. They are compassionate and handled my 125 pound dog with gentle hand. They know what they are doing and has a great team. In a few weeks we will be going in for some ear cropping and will review agian.

Village Veterinary Hospital has provided Forever Paws Animal Shelter with services for the Néw Bedford area clientele! Everyone we have dealt with have been extremely professional, friendly and obviously care so much for each animal brought to them! We are highly impressed the staff snd look forward to our continued work with them

The village veterinary is a compassionate place to bring you furry companion. They are friendly, make you feel at home. You can feel that your pet is in good hands there. I trust them entirely.

I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful staff at Village Veterinary Hospital. Our older dog need much patience and care in the past few months and they were there for us to answer any questions or concerns. Such a caring group of professionals.

I have used the same vet for 11 years , we recently switched our animals care over to Village Veterinary Hospital and we couldn’t be happier! All staff members are kind and extremely caring ! Couldn’t have chosen a better vet for our fur babies!

Emergency visit boxer ripped nail off on boat. Staff was extremely helpful and professional. Cant thank them enough for very fast response.

Recommend this vet to everyone and anyone my pitbull just went in today for surgery to have some skin cyst removed and skin tags they did a great job he was very happy nice and neat clean-shaven and everything I recommend them to everybody and their cost is very reasonable recommend them to everyone
