Dunny's BBQ

Amazing, my compliments to the chef! This place has been one of my favorites since I moved out here. I’m a native New Yorker so I def have a particular taste for the food that I eat. This place however, has NEVER failed me. Located almost right off the highway in the downtown area of Fall River, MA; Dunny’s was where I tried a few other food items I may have written a previous review and first tried fried pickles before their renovation. Again, all delicious. Previously a sometimes crowded bar; Dunny’s has become a nice, comfortable, bbq eatery with a nice selection of appetizers, entrees, drinks and updated atmosphere (didn’t get shots of the overall area but long time patrons may notice some changes). Bartenders and staff were friendly, ask about their in-house potato chips!

Absolutely perfect experience! Our food was amazing and the drinks were delicious! My girl had the blueberry margarita and it was hands down better than margaritas a block away!

The only thing lacking was that there were no sauces. I'm used to having 3-4 sauces available from the BBQ places I visited down south.
Other than that It was awesome! Cannot wait to go back!!

Absolutely loved the old fashioned atmosphere and all the antiques! The ribs were out of this world delicious! The potato salad had too much mayo and spices, the Mac was bland but all the meats were top notch, they just need to refine their sides a bit.

I've spent a fair amount of time living in the South, and with that came a taste for good BBQ. When I moved back to New England I missed being able to find BBQ on ever corner. And whenever I did find a spot the food was marginal at best. When I heard Dunny's was bringing BBQ to their place I can't say that I was excited about it, the years of let down didn't have me with high expectations. Well last night we decided to give it a shot. The food was absolutely perfect! I ordered a combo plate that consisted of (2) ribs, pulled chicken and brisket. Included were two sides, I chose Mac & cheese and fries. Also standard meals come with slaw and cornbread. We sat at the bar, service was prompt and friendly. The food came to us being halfway thru our drinks. We were offered three different choices for BBQ sauces, we asked for all three. The food arrived hot and the bartender provided us with extra napkins.... it's BBQ! Everything on my plate was very tasty and cooked perfectly. I've experienced places that do one or two items great, but then ruin the meal with something so far off base it was disappointing. One of the signs of well smoked and cooked ribs is "fall off the bone. Well I picked up the first rib and was left holding just the bone. Honest to God the meat remained on the plate! The texture and taste was that of what you'd eat in rural North Carolina. The pulled chicken was a first for me. Basically breast meat shredded simmered in a unique BBQ sauce, it was really good. The brisket was three generous slices with just enough fat to eat it without trimming it off and loading it with flavor. The brisket is where I tried each sauce, all were good, although the spicy wasn't hot by my standards. The Carolina was spot on tangy and sweet. Fries were really good too, spiced with garlic and maybe chive (?). Cornbread was okay, I'd like to see them add jalapenos.
My only suggestion would be to add collard greens to the menu. They do offer beans and my dining partner had them, but I was too full to ever try them.

We've wanted to have a nice dinner with burgers tonight. After some research, we decided to come to Dunny's and didn't regret it for a moment. All burgers (we ordered 3 different kinds) were exceptionally tasty, service was very friendly and flawless. We also ordered some drinks, and they were perfect as well. I recommend Dunny's as the place to go for nice burgers, sandwiches or casual drinks! PS. The interiors are very cozy, I advice to sit in the front (bar) area which is very charming.

Great place! That Smokey bbq smell hits you before you walk in. Try the Texas Twinkies and poutine. So good! Everything is good! Best bbq I’ve had since I left Austin.

It’s a fun theme in here. Just like a Saloon in a movie. We got both of the sampler platters for dinner and it’s so much food. We loved it. Bathroom was clean and the service was good.

An absolute MUST and a local gem. If you order a dinner you BETTER BE HUNGRY!!!! Love the sauce choices. I suggest trying them all. The steak tips are perfectly smoked and cooked and pare perfectly with each sauce (so hard to choose). Even the fries go well. The pulled pork grilled cheese also goes amazing with each sauce. Nicki (sp?) was our server and amazing. She effortlessly told me the beers without question (though my husband showed me where it was clearly posted on the table AND the menue 🤦‍♀🤦‍♀). The atmosphere is Cheers meets Cracker Barrel with a friendly, open atmosphere but you could spend a whole day looking at the items on the walls (amazing history). A MUST TRY for any old/ new guest. I will be back.

Love this place I haven't had a bad experience here yet. The food is always delicious no matter what I order and the staff is super friendly and attentive has to be my favorite lil diner in the city

I absolutely loved this place an we came at the perfect time if you want to do a little family outing ❤ it was beautiful I have to say my favorite part of the atmosphere was the Buffalo 🐃 there's a real Buffalo head up on the wall its huge an beautiful 😍 there's also some amazing antiques things you'd never see. Beautiful pictures an just overall good vibes ✨ 👌 our waitress Jenn she was amazing so sweet an very caring 😊 and attentive never stepped foot in there before an she made me an my son feel at home an she suggested this amazing dish ❤ the cowboy sampler 🤤🤤🤤 me an my son were both stuffed an had three boxes of food to take home which is alot when we got 1 thing off the menu an it was scrumptious every single bite I swear lol I'm definitely coming back!!!

Ribs are amazing. Brisket is amazing. The Reuben sandwich is amazing great chicken wings best southern food in Massachusetts.

Interior is beautiful but the tables kind of bring that feel down a bit. Seems to be a popular drink spot after 8, but we were still served food near 9 o'clock. The BBQ was quite well done! I had one of the samplers and enjoyed everything on it.
