Very good Mediterranean food; elements of Moroccan Turkish and Greek.

Really nice atmosphere felt very authentic inside.

Very unexpected in Western Massachusetts; pleasantly surprised!

Wow! Love this place! Food was fabulous - everything we had including hummus, falafel platter, shawarma on lavash, pot of mint tea, Moroccan coffee, etc. (and even the crepes) was on point. Authentic, fresh, and well seasoned. Waitress seemed to be covering the whole restaurant alone today but she did it cheerfully and very competently. Entire family loved it. Might go back tomorrow!

Excellent Middle Eastern fare right on Main St in Great Barrington. Menu complete with the usual suspects (i.e. shawarma, falafel, kabob etc) but elevated and done right. Try the merguez sausage, it's not something you can get just anywhere. Reasonably priced for lunch in the Berkshires. Will definitely be back!

Wow! Amazing vibe, great friendly service (Georgia was our server), and out of this world fresh Moroccan food. We are from south Florida and finding fresh home cooked meals is always a challenge. This place does it right! I had the white bean soup and chicken kebab. My partner had the halibut tagine. All of it was so good - I got extra food to go!!

If I lived or worked in Great Barrington, my friends and coworkers would likely stage an intervention because I would have developed a "Tangier Cafe problem"; I think I would be eating here that much.
The food is amazing, the service is prompt, attentive and welcoming. Everything I've ever had her has been memorably good. I think this is one of my favorite restaurants of all time and it's in a town with an embarrassment of riches when it comes to good restaurants.

Went here today and I was curious what type of food was served here and what quality the food was. My questions have been answered.

This cafe present itself as an upper-middle to high class establishment. The food is not cheap but it’s definitely not diner quality food it’s high quality food.

I had the Marrakesh omelette and it was great!
My wife tried the butternut squash soup and enjoyed it as well.

This has become my favorite restaurant in Great Barrington. The food is all organic, GMO free and absolutely delicious. The menu has a lovely range of options, the service is impeccable yet warm and friendly and the food is just lick your lips delicious. If you haven’t tried it do yourself a favor and enjoy this lovely restaurant.

Cozy and beautifully decorated, it's like dining in a secret bejeweled corridor of a Moroccan riad. We shared the Tangier Feast sample platter and a Lamb Tagine with Couscous. Both were delicious and generous (but ask for extra pita so you don't leave any of the tasty baba ganoush or hummus behind). The platter included two falafel dressed with tahini and harissa and they were moist and flavorful (if you have had a hockey puck falafel you know why this is important). The tagine was a perfectly stewed lamb shank served with vegetables and a rich gravy. We were too stuffed after lunch to try dessert, although we were quite tempted by the baklava. Great service and fairly priced. Will definitely return.

The food here is excellent. This is n't a well known restaurant and can be easily missed, but the middle eastern cuisine is some of the best in the region. Very reasonable prices and friendly service.

The Moroccan mint tea is where it’s at! The tea pot and glasses are beautifully served on a tray and the tea is made from fresh mint leaves with a light sweetness. I was so sad when it was gone. The falafel plate was good, though I would have liked more sauce. The atmosphere is wonderful- beautiful lighting and the walls are decorated with tesserae patterns. They did a great job turning this skinny space into a cozy Moroccan environment. I would go back when I’m in the area.

Excellent food, a bit of a sleeper since it doesn't seem to be busy, but great middle eastern/ Mediterranean cuisine A real treat if you like that kind of food.

The restaurant is easy to miss as it is a bit tucked away in plain sight. I was glad that I found it at end of a busy day, the chicken Kebab was delight to my taste buds.
