Number Ten

Had a fun shared meal. We enjoyed the braised smoked brisket, mashed potatoes, Caesar salad, shrimp cocktail and yummy cocktails!

Wildly good steakhouse in Great Barrington. We went a little overboard with the shrimp cocktail, pate, wedge salad, and clam chowder as appetizers (look at the size of those bacon bits!). Foolishly thought we could also finish a shared 40 oz bone-in ribeye with mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and mac and cheese and got through a laughably small amount of it.

Upside being some EXCELLENT midnight snacking later that evening.

Decent food, decent portions, and decent prices. I had brisket and meatloaf. Definitely recommend them both.

WOW!! hands down one of the best steakhouse, let alone restaurant, experiences I’ve ever had. Start to finish incredible. Servers are full of energy, super friendly and helpful. Food beyond speaks for itself. Bread was so crispy yet fluffy and super tasty, ribeye steaks were cooked to perfection on the first try, French fries were crispy, and don’t get me started on the mashed potatoes!! (need to be a garlic lover for the mashed potatoes) This is the standard all steakhouses should follow. Small menu so you know everything is good. This is the place I’m going to be comparing every steakhouse I go from now on.

This was an excellent night out! Delicious ribeye. All the sides were perfect and hot! Bartender was pleasant and knowledgeable! If you want to taste some bourbons, I highly recommend Number 10

Really straightforward and delicious food. Service was excellent—low-key but attentive, incredibly gracious (forgot the guy’s name but he was lovely Sunday night). We swung by on a whim for a special occasion dinner, ordered the steak for 2 (not a bad deal for $59 given the quality), mushrooms, spinach all delicious, not to mention a real Caesar salad with loads of anchovies handsomely displayed on top. It was refreshing and wonderful and we will certainly be back!

The wine list has lots of reasonably priced bottles — we chose a rose that was excellent. Can’t stress just how much we appreciated the service & vibes—seems like they could ft a few more tables in but they don’t and everything just works well. Bravo & many thanks

Surprisingly accomplished cuisine. Mind-blowing clam chowder. Excellent bread. Wonderful meat.

Saw another review before dining here of someone claiming they’ve been to steakhouses all over, and this one tops the charts. Bold claim to make, but after an amazing meal at Number Ten I have to agree.

Great choice of meat, nice and efficient service. Delicious sides, especially the creamy spinach. Staff doesn't push consumption unlike what happens in many steakhouses. Nice, open space, and not noisy.

Stop searching, you found just the place. Alone, I found myself at the bar, getting an unplanned tasting of bourbons, priming my palette for the juiciest, most exquisite ribeye I’ve had in some time. The steak was outdone only by the enjoyable conversation over the perfect bourbon with Dave, the bartender. Thank you guys for the hospitality. See you next time.

Everything here is 10 out of 10. Having tried the ribeye, beef poutine, beet salad, and a martini, it’s all terrific. Great ambiance and service. Well worth a visit. Prices are reasonable for a steakhouse too.

One of my favorite places in Great Barrington. Food is very good. Love sitting at the bar for a couple of drinks and a good steak

Best filet I ever had and the meatloaf was out of this world good. Didn’t know it was possible for meatloaf to taste that good! Staff was super kind and helpful places to see in the area. We will be back

This is perhaps the best steakhouse we've ever been to. This includes many famous places on the West Coast, Minneapolis, Chicago, and New York City. We've had a variety of things from fish, poultry, to steak, and everything was just off the charts good. The steaks, both medium and medium well, are always cooked to perfection. They are seasoned perfectly, and were very high quality, tender cuts. Sides were all freshly prepared, and seemed to be locally sourced in the case of vegetables in season. The chicken is tender and flavourful, and a good sized portion. The desserts are equally high quality.

We always look forward to coming here.

In addition to the incredibly high quality food and, the prices are a bargain for what you are getting. The service is very good as well. This is one of those few restaurants where they have everything nailed down, from the service to the food, to exceptional pricing for what you are getting.

Thoroughly enjoyable dinner. Steak was flavorful and cooked just as I like it. Mac and cheese side was delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive. Reasonable priced as well.

Food and service were very good. Probably the largest selection of bourbon I have ever seen. A bit pricey but worth it.

I’m not a meat lover but their veggies and salad were delicious.

The restaurant was booked for the night but luckily we were able to sit at the bar. The bartender, Lisa was so attentive and welcoming. We still had a wonderful meal. The clam chowder and filet mignon I ordered were both delicious. It is a dimly lit restaurant which I enjoyed.
