Giant Pharmacy

I have always found the staff to be friendly and courteous. They send me notifications when my prescriptions are ready for pickup and readily accept GoodRx when my insurance fails to give me a decent price.

I always find the staff at Giant Concord Square helpful! They are doing the best they can. People who say they are rude are just impatient and want immediate service. I witness this!

Friendly and reliable (certainly compared to the CVS across the street)

The pharmacists are great. Always giving you the time to ask questions if you need it. And they always compare your insurance versus another discount program to get you the best price. They have covered me when I need 1 or 2 pills while waiting for my provider to send the refill script over. They also provide vaccines. Only challenge is they are getting more popular so they need to get some more help to handle the volume. Love our Giant pharmacy.

I’m really mixed because a couple of the associates in the pharmacy are amazing. Great customer service, nice, helpful. But then there is at least one woman who always has an attitude and just seems bothered to do her job. I transferred to Delaware Giant Pharmacy because I moved from PA but they don’t call to confirm prescriptions are filled, if there are issues, they don’t call you to get it resolved. You call them to confirm a prescription is ready and they tell you whatever the problem is. They have the potential to be great but definitely have some work to do to get there.

The pharmacist decided to communicate with me from across the room instead of walking to the register and being more personable. She tried to tell me my med needed prior authorization despite telling her that I’m paying out of pocket and from there went onto say I have Medicaid in PA. After telling her no, she ran my med history as she should have and went into question me (appropriately) to avoid interactions etc. The point is, she was rude, dismissive, and could have been more professional after I told her my background. Instead, I got an eye roll and more attitude. Listen to your patients as much as you try to protect them and the pharmacy - her words!

The staff at the front desk is always very rude. Told me my prescription needed prior authorization. I said I'm paying out of pocket. Told me I could not do that because it needed to go through insurance.... Since when🤷🏽 would not give my script back. I'm changing pharmacy's. I don't need the unnecessary stress. Got my script where.

I asked about how much my medicines will cost and told her which ones. The Indian (pharmacist, if thats even what she is) told me I can’t fill the ones that were controlled substances at this location, even with my doctor approval and identification. I never heard of that. She better stop making up her own rules because she will get herself in a lot of trouble.

Told me they were unable to get. Common Generic drug from their supplier for sleep disorder. Said they could not get it and no idea when, or IF they would EVER be able to get it in! My doctor said this is BS since they are big enough all over their pharmacies to be able to obtain it! I was told to come pick up RX and when I got there, they said they could not get the med ! By then pre-auth had just expired putting me in a very difficult position! Low prices.....super unreliable!!!

I have been calling this pharmacy since 9AM this morning and it's 9PM now. So for the entire time they were opened they never once answered the phone and I called every 20min all day. My son needs his medication and I believe that they don't want business! I'm going to get my prescriptions for our whole family moved somewhere else that actually wants the business. I have given them enough chances over 7 years and I am done

THIS BOSSY LADY AT THE PHARMACY IS UNBELIEVABLE. SHE TOLD ME THAT I HAD TO WAIT OUT OUTSIDE FOR MY MEDS. I DID EXACTLY THAT, BUT THEN IT TOOK THEM 2 HOURS TO FILL MY MEDS. THE POOREST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER COME ACROSS. THEY ALSO ALWAYS HAVE THESE LONG STORIES WHEN ALL THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO IS FIILL MEDS AND CUSTOMER PICKS UP PERIOD. ALL THESE STORIES IS UNNECESSARY. PLEASE STOP! JUST GIVE ME MY MEDS NEXT TIME PLEAS.E!!

I am supposed to be called whenever my Rx is ready for pick up by way of their automatic system. Mind you I only have one Rx that they fill and their “automatic” system does not work. I have spoken to the manager several times with the same nothing changed result. Their system needs to be overhauled or discontinued.

Called numerous times. They don't answer the phone. Rings and then dead air.

Very rude and discourteous pharmacists and staff here...
