Great County park for hiking/walking/jogging. Entertaining for kids & adults with horses, swans & geese and mock up old west town by stables. Play area on site as well as very large fenced field for dogs. Some trails are asphalt, some gravel, and some dirt (in wooded area).

This is such a beautiful park especially in the fall. The camping under the stars event was amazing. Definitely making it an annual family outing. Can't wait for next year!!

This place is magical. The calm, the water, and the green all are in harmony. You can take a walk and forget about everything.
Horse riding training is available there and you can see beautiful and majestic horses roaming around. Would definitely go again.
This park is open to the public and owned by the New Castle Mounted Patrol. There are picnic benches available.

Absolutely beautiful park, our favorite place to walk, and they host lovely little farmers/crafters markets seasonally that are enjoyable. Foliage, ponds, and nature are stunning year round.

The Bark Park is my favorite. It is a huuuuge space. You do have to have a trained and trusted dog because it's not completely fenced in. The area and pond are beautiful! You can take a stroll and visit horses that live there sometimes.

My friend's father recently passed away and the park was only a short drive from the funeral home. After the service my friend and I went to the park bench by the lake to process everything before going to her family residence. There was a great blue heron at the pond, and he chilled with us the whole time. It was peaceful and quiet, just what we needed before continuing with the rest of the day. It was a very pleasant experience.

We stopped in here simply by review's. It was a nice county park where the county officers horses are housed. Free to the public to enter. Very nice informative staff, also has public restrooms. We were there when the horses were brought in from the pasture to the stables to eat around 3:30 pm. We also got to see an officer groom his horse and prepare him for service. They have beautiful Belgian horses.

Very lovely place! Spacious dog park! Picturesque sights! Horses and donkeys. Good for children, dogs and common folks having a walk there. It‘s more suitable for walking than cycling.

It’s a beautiful park to walk your dog, running, campaign and for all kinds of outdoor activities. Free parking, people are cautious wearing masks. It’s a safe spot to hang out with friends and families. Since we’ve been cooped at home for few months.

A very good place to spend some quality time. I have been here several times to run around the park. You get to see horses, llamas, swans and turtles etc. I love the fact that it isn't too far from human habitation but once you get in, it is serene. There are several trails you could explore and the equestrian center is simply awesome. It looks like a quaint little town. Good news for dog lovers and owners. The park has a leash free area. Your canines are going to love this place!

Best park in the state! NEVER overcrowded! The entrance welcomes you with a complete old western ghost town setting. Very cool! Feels more like an old world countryside. Set upon numerous acres, this park has beautiful green pastures, lovely wooded trails, country lanes, ponds, stables complete with friendly horses and other barnyard buddies ready to greet you along your walk or jog. This place is magical at dusk! The moonlight through the pines and the swan lake has illuminated fountains. It truly is a special place!

We call it "the Buddy-boy Doggie Park". My dog knows he's going there 2 miles before we get there. It's a beautiful part of Delaware and free. Fantastic park for dog-lovers.
Buddy passed last year. Cooper, our new Bassett pup, had his first visit yesterday. It looked like they are maintaining the park as good as ever. Very nice.

Great dog park! Lots of room for them to run around unleashed. Plus, there's a place for them to take swim to cool off. Highly recommend.
