Pat's Steak House

We were a party of 5 for a retirement dinner. Greeted by Pat himself, who visited our table a few times. Our server was very relaxed and friendly. We all enjoyed our food. Excellent service. Excellent dinner. Excellent atmosphere. Thank you!

Dined here last night for my hubbys 30th birthday and had the best time! Food was amazing and the ambiance was nice and quaint. Service was awesome too!

Great food, wonderful service. Made for a perfect birthday celebration!

My wife had the Ribeye & really enjoyed it.
I had the NY Strip, and it was great.
The wedge salad is a classic, and did not disappoint.
Chicken noodle soup was excellent.
Wonderful dessert for the birthday girl too!

We have been coming to Pat’s Steakhouse for over 25 years. We’ve never had a bad experience here… not one! I highly recommend Pat’s Steakhouse! You can expect consistently delicious food as well as excellent service! Our family loves Pat’s so much that my older sister even had her rehearsal dinner here years ago.

My husband and I went here for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. We were seated in the back in a booth. I was a little apprehensive after we were seated and no waiter came for what seemed like a long time. The people behind us had ordered and were served and had eaten their salad and no one had asked about drinks for us. We flagged down a waiter that passed by and he said he would be glad to help us. He took our drink order and our dinner order. Our drinks were served quickly. And it went uphill from there…
We both ordered the Lady filet mignon and it was delicious!! Juicy and cooked to perfection. We also got the Lima beans, cauliflower and hashed browns. The hash browns were sooo tasty. As the waiter explained they are made from boiled potatoes then grated and cooked crispy in a cast iron skillet.
It was sooo good.
We told them it was our anniversary and the waiter brought us a double hot fudge sundae. Which was a perfect dessert for 2.
I also love the old Kentucky atmosphere. It sure has a lot of history in Pat’s. Go and enjoy. Not cheap but worth it!!

Have lived in Louisville since '95 and always return to Pat's for a relaxing evening and great meal. The staff is always very gracious and welcoming. Always try to get Chuck as our Waiter as he's a real gentleman. Pat and his wife run an outstanding dining experience..

As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Pat’s. Our steaks were prepared perfectly and the drinks from the bar were top notch. Our server, Steve S. has been providing us the same great service for over 15 years and Pat was making his rounds to make sure everything was getting the appropriate attention.

Irish Themed Restaurant. The food was excellent. Steak was cooked perfectly. Staff was very attentive. We really enjoyed our anniversary dinner here.

Pat’s Steak House is a hidden gem. We happened upon this great dining experience through a friend’s suggestion. It is a family owned business. The steaks are cut fresh daily and are amazing. We had the Lady’s Filet and Ribeye. They were cooked to perfection. Sides were excellent as well. They serve Lima beans, green beans and cauliflower family style on each table. And their bread is delicious. Great dining experience - I can’t wait to go back.

This restaurant has everything perfected. If you want a good steak - go here. It's not terribly complex or overly fancy. But they know how to make a great steak.

It’s hard to beat Pats Steakhouse. The food is excellent, the service is almost like you have your own personal server. The towels over their arms and the Irish green jackets make you feel like royalty. The old furnishings beautifully cared for and many memorable pictures cover the walls. Just nothing less than fancy. A wonderful experience!

We were lucky to be waited on by Chris. Pat's is an old school white tablecloth steakhouse and a part of Louisville history.

Beautiful old style decor, dark wood panel walls, green jacket wearing servers. Felt like I could be in an old Chicago family steakhouse. Amazing food, steak was perfect!

You'll find old school greatness at this joint. Delicious steaks and sides. A super great wine list and wonderful staff. Call ahead. A must go!

Wonderful visit for our first time at Pat's. The service was great. The atmosphere was great. Mr. Francis himself made it a.point to come over and greet us. The food was absolutely delicious. The brownie fudge Sundae was to die for. We will be back for our big day....our 23rd Anniversary.

Pat's is always a great destination. Awesome entrees are prepared well, and sides are served family style. Thank you, Pat and staff, for another phenomenal dining experience.

I am from out of state but will definitely make the trip back to Pat’s.
