Pier 17 Cajun Seafood Restaurant & Bar

The food was super delicious, I ordered lobster and crocodile tail, the attention and service was fast, the atmosphere of the place is very cool, the sauces and dressings are delicious, they give you plastic gloves so you can eat comfortably with your hands and towels with alcohol. They serve you on a plate with a bag so that the food arrives super hot. It was a really nice experience.

I had the special combo A with crab legs , sausage and shrimp Cajun style medium heat, my husband got the fried gator and fries. The food came out hot and very quickly. Our server she was so sweet and made sure our drinks were filled and checked on us a few times to make sure everything was good. I have to say this is the best seafood we have had in a long time. It was so delicious and flavorful. We will definitely be back soon

Been too long to not have seafood this good. It is bold to not have salt and pepper shakers on the tables but you never need them. Fantastic food and service as well. New favorite in J-town and just minutes from downtown Louisville. And the prices were much better than expected!

Food was good, we got a Cajun boil dinner with shrimp,corn,crab legs and potatoes. Also the fried oysters w/fries. Everything was good nothing "GREAT", just basic seafood.

I've had food from here before. This was the first time that i actually went in and got something my self. And let me tell you besides the food being top notch Cajun seafood the atmosphere is amazing. What i got was a fried oyster poboy with Cajun fries. Absolutely delicious. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Can wait for my next visit.

First time going to this place. I ordered take out. Crab boil and crab cakes. Food is very good! Mia was awesome and I even tried a quail boiled egg...... interesting.... it tastes just like a chicken egg just smaller. I learned that is has more protein then a chicken egg. I will go back for a second visit!

We recently went back here and had a nice dinner with my parents. The calamari was not the greatest and was chewy. I had a wonderful boil with crab legs. The kids had fun and loved the atmosphere. It was nice to patronize a restaurant that wasn't too loud to visit with my elderly parents. My dad has hearing issues and could participate in our conversation which was great. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. We will be back.

Dang. A perfect 5 is not something I give out lightly but dang. This place(even during the busiest hours) DELIVERS. Food. BANGING. Servers/host/busboys. SLAYING. I’ll be back, again and again!

Got a half pound of crab legs for my wife, shrimp for me. When in doubt, go for their signature seasoning

Place has never disappointed, about a 45 minutes drive, but we’ll worth. Shrimp, crab, lobster have always been cooked spot on, you can choose your spice and flavor. Kid friendly and nice atmosphere.

I went there with a friend to order food to go back in January. I just had surgery a few weeks prior and I was really craving some yummy seafood. This was my first time visiting this establishment and I was not disappointed. The restaurant was very clean and the manager was super nice. He went over the menu with us throughly and when I got home with my selection (crab with boiled eggs, shrimp and corn it was well seasoned and still hot!!! The crab was so sweet and juicy that I wish I had more.
My friend went back a month or so later to pick up an order for me and the manager still remembered him and gave the same excellent customer service. If you love seafood this is definitely the place to be.

Gave this place a shot tonight & was very surprised! Lots of choices on the menu to chose from. We got the hushpuppies, gator tail basket & the headless shrimp boil. All were excellent!

The ONLY negative is the hostess needs to not be there. We walked in and wasn’t greeted at all. She didn’t even say anything….

But the food & waiter was awesome.
Will make sure to return!

I love seafood as much as I love a good steak. This place did not disappoint. From the original style of serving the food, to the cajun flavor and variety, I give it A+. Come prepared for a very tasty mess. PS: they will provide bibs and gloves.

Everything was wonderful. You have options to dine in with protocol or order to go. Wife and I did the dine in and the meal was fantastic. Cajun fries...amazing, hush puppies...amazing, seafood boil...amazing! Great atmosphere and great price. When we come back through Louisville, we would definitely go back!

I enjoyed this place so much! The crabs and shrimp boil was perfect and the waitress/bartender was the best. She made the best long Island tea as well. Restaurant was clean and cozy. Oh and the oysters were fantastic

We didn't know what to expect, but great place to go if you like seafood but don't want to pay. I got several sides as my meal, really enjoyed the slaw and fries, good bar drinks, and our server was super.

Came here for the first time last week and we have already been back. The fish sandwich is huge and their cocktail are delicious. So cute inside. They do not serve genuine Cajun food such as jambalya but what they do have is good. They have steam pots too. And the best sweet potato fries ever. The staff is very young when we have been there so the manager had to take our drink orders and bring them to the table. There was a language barrier with our waitress but everything was corrected and the food was enjoyable, came out quickly and arrived hot.

Ummm, awesome! Food is great, very-very delicious. Fast servise, nice stuff, just feel like the table should be bigger considering the huge pan takes up all the space, plus everyone needs more room craking those crablags.

Omg it was delicious!!!! We got the family platter, some lemon pepper wings, and hush puppies. Every thing was delicious and the service was great!!!

Sunday 1pm , about 1/4 full. They did not have a hostess but got seated by waiting staff pretty quick. Got fried catfish with Cole slaw. Catfish was hot, Cole slaw was good , maybe just a little too creamy for some. Definitely will put this on my rotation.
