Jefferson County Clerk Jeffersontown Branch

I love this branch. The service is always fast and friendly. In the past I have taken care of switching car titles, you can register to vote here, and today I renewed my registration. I arrived a few minutes before 9am. I grabbed a number as I walked in. There were about 10 people ahead of me and I was out of there at about 920. There is a parking lot behind the building and quick access through a little alley way to the front of the building.

They were very prompt and friendly. When I reached, it was fully packed. A lady came and asked everyone if she could help to expedite the process. Asked everyone to be ready with the insurance paper, if not she provided an email address. The whole process took 5-7 mins except waiting. Try to avoid busy hours between 10 PM to 2 PM if you have time.

I feel they are doing all they can with the many things that are going on.
I have been going to this location for many years and we owe them grace for all the great visits we have had prior to the current challenges.
Especially dealing with people like myself who have trouble with long waits.
Kudos to Christy and Fran for putting their best foot forward and thanks for trying to care for all of us even when we are not at our best.

I arrived early and everything went easy and quick. The employees are very professional and respectful.

Christy turned a terrible experience into a truly excellent one. After a terrible experience with Meredith at the East branch, I went to the J-town location. It was also very busy, but understandable since it's the end of the month. Christy greeted me with a smile, was very attentive, and answered all of my questions completely. I couldn't have asked for a better experience today. This will be my new go-to location. Thank you Christy!

Christy Carrell reminded me the sun is always shinning above the clouds. I had a terrible experience at the East branch office earlier today and made the decision to go to a different location for better service. All the employees here were fast and efficient, and I'm sure kindhearted as well!
For the amount of numbers that were called in the 2 hours we were there, twice as many people were helped than the East branch.
Christy really made my day today by going above and beyond for me when she certainly didn't have to. She was professional, kind and most importantly, empathic. It's so refreshing interacting with a person like Christy Carrell.
I walked in with a frown and Christy turned in upside down. Seriously, I know that's cheesy, but she made my day.

Such a great, personable staff at this location, especially Jamie and Kim. I've been in a few times to sort out dues with my personal fleet of cars and it has always been an easy process. Have your documents ready and the queue will move fast.

Kyle was SUPER helpful in my lengthy long process to get my updated tags. I was previously told by a different employee that I wouldn’t be able to get my tags without doing X,Y, & Z. He went above and beyond to help me out anyway possible. This man knows how to work at a clerk office! Give him a raise!

They get the job done, but there is a long wait!

If you own a car, boat, or any number of things and live in/around J-Town, chances are you're going to have to pay a visit here at some point. Living in J-Town for 5 years I've been here numerous times and it's always gone smoothly.

Take a number when you walk in and have a seat. While waiting there is a boatload of comfortable chairs/cushion thingys to sit on.

During my visits they've been well-staffed and I've never waited more than ten minutes for my number to be called.

When seated at the window (they still have the plexiglass shields in place), any agent I've worked with knew what they were doing and were able to take care of whatever business I've had quickly and efficiently. There has never been any "I don't know how to do this, let me ask someone else".

I've never been to any other Jefferson County Clerk office and that's okay because this location is great at what it does.

I go out of my way to visit this location!!!

Staff is friendly and enjoyable to chat with. Wait time is almost always non-existent.

I can not recommend this location and the employees Ally and KYLE enough!!!!

Best time to go is early morning or early afternoon after lunchtime. Quick renewals!! Quick transfers if you have correctly filled out paperwork and notorized sellers signatures??

This office gets an A+ from me. I went on a Friday at 10 AM, there were twenty people ahead of me, but I got out quickly because seven people were working there. Thank you for the fast service, Cassandra!

These people are absolutely the BEST!!! I don't care how many people are in front of you, they will get you in and out as quickly as they can. They are very courteous, professional and kind as well.

A short wait and very friendly staff. Building is clean and parking was easy. They took all the stress out of the process. Very happy with my local branch.

I Got there Friday, 15 minutes till closing. I didn't know my insurance paper wouldn't be accepted because I printed it out on my printer at home. I pulled it up on my phone, to show where I printed it, & my insurance said I could use as proof of insurance. Debbie and Frannie went above and beyond to help me. I said I know it's Friday and you ready to start your weekend , I'll get cards mailed &come back. They said no we gonna get this. They close at 430. I walked out at almost 5 with my tags. Dixie highway clerk office could learn from these ladies..Never acted upset, put out, or frustrated while helping me. SMILING whole time. I know where im going next year, I live in South end, but going back to J-town. 👍👍👍👍👍

Quick and easy visit. Always helpful and very friendly. Parking can be limiting. You can view the waiting area online to see how crowded it is before going. They do not do drivers licenses at this location. They do have a dealer/specials desk.

I went here yesterday to renew license plate tags! They was quick with calling people by number and I only had to wait 15 minutes to be called when I walked in and sat down to wait! They handled everything quick fast and in a timely manor and they where really nice and respectful to everyone!

There was 12 ahead of me an didn't take long to get waited on. The staff was very nice an helped with my stuff just great.
