Awesome Car buying experience. I could not wait to write this review because this was truly the best car buying experiences. I was looking to upgrade my Audi A7...I had a 2016 and I found 2017 special edition Competition with them. I live in NC...so 8hrs away. I initially reached out from Car gurus or auto trader (on several sites looking) and it was late...like 10pm..and I was amazed that the owner emailed me that night...and continued to be responsive. When I asked about my trade...He asked for pics...then gave me a straight forward and very fair trade in price. I already had my own financing with Navy Federal (they ROCK) and my biggest concern was take that long drive and the car not be what I hoped...Well, it was NOT what i thought...It was SO MUCH more. The car was in EXCELLENT condition..I was blown away...The whole process was seamless...no switch and bait. They did exactly what was promised. I was done with everything in less than 30 minutes...The staff was amazing..ALL OF THEM. I was tired but that 8 hr drive back home was great in my new A7...Listen, GO SEE THEM...ITS WORTH THE DRIVE...I had a great experience from beginning to end...

These gentlemen took great care of my while Megan was out. Friendly staff & I love my BMW, I was in & out with my car within an hour tops.

Absolutely love the volvo xc90 I purchased a little over a month ago. It's by far the best used car lot that I've ever been too all the vehicles are reasonably priced but what set them apart to me was you could see the effort they put into getting these cars right everything detailed and shined all the way down to the engine looked like you could eat off it. The staff was super friendly and not pushy which is quite a bit different than most lots they let the cars sell themselves and were there to answer all of our questions . We constantly check their website to see the new inventory.

Tom Gray Auto sells deals in only high grade used cars. I sold my Ford Explorer eight months ago and was searching for a quality used car. I took my time, did research from car dealerships to private sells. Even Honda world, Toyota, Kia, and many more. If you go looking at the dealership, they all have high milage, interior and exterior problems and not even close to the quality of used cars Tom Gray Auto sells has. Yes, Tom Gray is a retailer and I for one was in retail for many years and let me tell you, the customer is not always right. He had one of his team members (very nice and professional) come and get me to my residence, drive me to my financial institution and made the process very quick and easy. Took less than five minutes. There were vehicles I wish I did not pass up on in his lot, but the one I chose makes up for it. If you see one you want, you had better go the next day. For your information, get a personal loan to buy one of his cars because I believe anything under 2015 will not qualify for traditional car loan. It is best to do this instead of buying a piece of junk. I went to one in Sellersburg and started up the car, the engine light came on and started leaking oil. The car salesmen said, “let me check that out and get back with you.” He called and said it needed a new engine. Did you hear on the news about all the EV in Chicago would not take a charge and leave the buyers stranded. Of course not. They don’t want you to know.

I went to Tom Gray on a Wednesday knowing exactly which car I wanted (2012 Volvo XC70 T6). I looked at it as much as I could up on the display rack and was able to return the next day to drive it as they needed time to get it down. When I arrived at the agreed upon time on Thursday they gave me the key and left me alone to test drive it and look it over thoroughly, absolutely no pressure. Later that day I made an offer online and we completed the whole transaction via email on Friday and I picked up the car on Monday. Totally painless car buying experience!

I bought a 2012 Jaguar from this dealership. Although it has some minor issues (to be expected for a car 11 years old...and a jaguar), i am thoroughly pleased with my purchase and experience from Tom Gray. Megan helped me with my purchase and was very friendly.

I don’t normally leave reviews but i do have to say I was extremely impressed with Tom gray auto sales. When you pull in all of there inventory is sitting out front for you to shop threw. They don’t have a bunch of sales representatives sitting outside so that they can start hounding you the second you get out of your car. Instead they have all the information you need about the vehicles inside the car windows, and a very nice young lady inside with all the car fax’s to the vehicles on the lot. If you want to test drive a vehicle they just make a copy of your license pull the car out for you and let you go on by yourself to enjoy and it take in without a salesman breathing down your neck the entire drive. And the icing on the cake that really surprised me is that I bought the car on the 13th of February and they had my plates ready by the 16th of February I’ve never in my life bought a car and had the plates in 3 days that’s crazy!

This was one of the best, if not the best, experiences that my wife and I have ever had at a dealership. The employees were all friendly and helpful. They weren’t pushy or rude at all. Unlike other dealerships we have been to, this one had no problem with us paying in cash instead of financing. Megan was super nice, and she quickly got our paperwork done when we decided to buy. Overall, we are very satisfied and will recommend Tom Gray’s Auto Sales to all our friends and family!

I had the best experience with Megan at Tom Gray Auto Sales. I found the car on CarFax and Tommy made me an offer over the phone. I drove down from Champaign to Louisville and had the easiest trade of my life. Everyone was great and I love my new car.

I bought a car from them without a test drive. I know enough about the make and model to have a good idea what I was buying. Still I was taking a risk. The car was just as I had expected. I paid a fair price for the car I wanted. Paperwork was easy. I shipped the car and it arrived clean and ready to drive with temp plates. I would buy from them again.

My husband and I bought a used older model Subaru from Tommy at Tom Gray. The purchase experience was quick and easy. He held the car for us so we could get there to see it and there was no haggling on the price he gave us the very best he could and we took it. Our first 5 star experience! 9 months after purchasing the car the dashboard lights started flashing indicating an issue. We only naturally took it to a Subaru dealership for inspection. We have another newer Subaru and have always had great service there. Those mechanics diagnosed the car with incredibly expensive repairs and suggested we scrap the car. I reached out to Tommy only to see if he would be interested in buying the car back if he could make sense of a decision like that. He responded to me right away. Arranged for his recommended shop to look at it. This shop was able to do what Subaru said they couldn’t and Tommy took care of it. He has been helpful, kind and totally professional throughout the entire process. We are grateful. That’s another 5 stars from us! Highly recommend Tommy Gray and Tom Gray Auto Sales! And they have beautiful used cars!

I can't say enough good things about my experience buying my car. The staff was very nice and helpful, they promised to pay for some work the car needed and it was done to my satisfaction. I highly recommend them and the quality, selection and service they provide. I will buy there again definitely.

I knew what I wanted before coming to the dealership. Upon arrival, I walked around the lot, found the car, and looked at it. A dealer didn’t meet me the moment I stepped foot on the lot, which is something I appreciated. I wanted to scope it out on my own before anyone attempted to direct my attention.
I then went inside, told a salesperson at the desk that I would like to look at the car and he immediately handed me the keys and said “let me know if you want to test drive it.” It was that simple.
This may be a more contemporary opinion, but I am thankful for the hands-off, give-the-customer-some-breathing-room approach. It was more comfortable, especially since it was my first time buying a car from a dealership. Now, was any of this intentional? I have no idea. But the way it worked out was wonderful. No pressure, no looking over my shoulder, analyzing my every move to try and sell me something.
I test drove the car and said I’d be back again the next day with my parents. To summarize a long following day on the lot: the dealership was incredibly kind to let me take the car home after dealing with a very slow bank. They even let us rotate the tires while waiting for the letter of credit to be sent. I would recommend the dealership and the experience to anyone. Of course, I’ve only had the car for two days now, but I have a feeling it all worked out the way it was meant to be. If there are any updates worth adding at a later time, I will do so. But for now, I am impressed and satisfied.
They also have a sweet cat that lounges around inside. Big bonus points there.

Last month I bought a 2009 car from Tom Gray. It was sold without warranty but it had a clean CARFAX report, one owner, and it showed a long history of preventative maintenance. Also, Tom Gray had it checked out by a local foreign car specialist who made a few repairs to the car. I explored the history of the make and model of this car on the internet and visited the foreign car shop that inspected the car and made some corrections to faults. In short, I thought the car was priced fairly and would be reliable. Within 6 hours of driving off the lot, the check engine light came on; a week later the drive belt broke and left me stranded on the freeway late at night necessitating a tow; also discovered was a severe oil leak around the timing belt. I talked to Tommy at Tom Gray and he offered to pay a decent portion of the repair bill. I had the repairs made and then another check engine light came on. So I had it inspected by another foreign car specialist and found the car needed other repairs to make it 100% ready. So I went back to Tom Gray after a month of owning the car and told them the troubles I was having and asked Tommy if he would take the car back in trade and credit me the full value of what I paid. Without hesitation he said YES, and that it was the right thing to do even though I bought the car without warranty. So, within the next week week I traded for another car and Tommy went out of his way to make the transfer easy. I am grateful for the honesty and willingness to make this customer happy. Without hesitation I would buy from him again. The only thing I would hope for is that he would offer a 30 or 60-day power train warranty with each sale. He exercised due diligence to make sure the car he sold me was in good shape but when you buy a used car, no matter how much you investigate, you never know what may happen.

Car buying can be a very unpleasant experience, unless you are buying from Tom Gray Auto Sales. The staff made it quick and painless. We received “white glove” red carpet service and follow up….

I have bought from MANY car lots. Tom Gray auto sales is one of the best. There isn't any high pressure sales gimmicks, no bull$hit. Darrell the salesman was courteous and knowledgeable. The inside staff was also courteous and fun to talk with. My trade value was more than fair as well as price of the highlander I purchased.If I'm ever in the market for another vehicle I'll go to Tom Grays first
