Heine Brothers Coffee - Gardiner Lane Shopping Center

I had to kill some time while waiting for my Tesla to charge (across the street), and Heine's was the perfect place to go! A very clean coffeeshop with plenty of sitting areas to do work and enjoy a pastry.

Fair trade coffee. Nice ambiance. Used to be a beautiful mural inside store. Small “Miel” with oat milk & everything bagel with cream cheese was today’s delicious choices. Also, enjoy peppermint tea with lemon. Remodeled and now has a warmer ambiance.

Starbucks like atmosphere but with better coffee. Limited menu on display, but I was able to find a full menu on Google maps, complete with descriptions. Got the decaf vanilla iceberg, amazing. Not too sweet, good coffee flavour

We stopped in about 30 minutes before they close on a weekday and the service was excellent the coffee shop is clean they served us with a smile and the cherry almond scones were delicious as well as the coffee of course

Heine Brothers' is beyond thoughtful and considerate! I brought to their attention a customer being persistently inappropriate and they handled it so swiftly, seriously, and discreetly. Corey, the manager, went out of her way (literally) to follow the customer to the parking lot and confront the unacceptable behavior. They had my back, checked their security cameras, and surprised me with a drink! Heine is so much more than the superb coffee they make. They care strongly to make their space one that is safe and respectful. Thank you Corey, Lillie, Jay and all the other baristas!

Vegan options, next to a Tesla Supercharger, and excellent coffee! Good service, clean bathrooms, and comfy seating option. Would recommend.

I’m doing some training in town, and decided to stop in for a Mayan Mocha (I’ve had similar spice-based mochas and they’re usually tasty). The service was great, but I was completely overwhelmed by the Mayan Mocha and couldn’t drink it at all. Luckily I was given an opportunity to have my drink remade a few days later, and I ordered the Iced Dirty Derby Chai through the mobile app. The drink was ready when I got there, and it was absolutely phenomenal. Easily one of the best chai drinks I’ve had. Shout out to Erin @ Customer Support for helping turn my experience around. I felt that leaving a thorough review was the least I could do!

Absolutely love it! Service is always speedy and friendly, and I have yet to find something on the menu that isn't delicious. Really cool vibe and easily accessible, and always very clean.

First time I went there was my first day at my new job and I guess my head was so over the place that I had made my order to the wrong location and they still made it for me without charging me again!!! Ever since then every time is a great experience and my food and drink are delicious but today I got this little sun next to my name and I knew I needed to leave a review Thank you for taking the time you made my morning!! ☀

Usually a long wait in the drive thru, but other than that very good coffee and kind service!

Coffee is amazing. Atmosphere is great. Prefect for getting some work done.

Great outdoor seating areas for enjoying the day and a little people watching. Close to lots of shopping and major thoroughfares which has its upsides and downsides. Also, Lexus electric vehicle charging stations are conveniently located directly across the street from the coffee shop. Delicious coffees and local baked goods, too.

I could honestly go on and on about how much I love my heine bros. Ever since I started getting their coffee, I have NOT been able to go back to starbucks. Everything is always fresh and locally made not to mention the staff is always spot on. i never leave reviews but Heine sure deserves one because they are killing the coffee game and have since day 1.

Service in store or in the drive thru is excellent. If you have pups, you can get a treat for them also! Staff is always helpful and kind. There’s a wide variety of coffee flavors, the muffins are delicious and never had any issues with mistakes with my order. This has become our go to spot

I have been to a lot of coffee shops but this one steals the limelight all the way. From the very go, the experience is Fantastic. The cashiers are pleasant, know their products, offer recommendations, and go above and beyond. For my work assignment to Louisville, I have been their everyday, and each day has been consistently awesome ! Cory the store manger is definitely leading from the front in making sure “customer service” is the only goal. Simply superb and awesome coffee shop. The got chocolate , Cafe Mocha and muffins are delicious. Keep it up !

Today October 24th at around 7pm.
Some old dude came in and started harassing two baristas and continued to mess with them about not having hot coffee when they made it for him several times and even then he just complained and demanded his money back. I felt bad for them they were working their tails off and did an outstanding job with handling that customer. They were calm and very polite. But he did insinuate he was going to report them and that stressed them out a lot I could tell. But I'm just posting this to let this company know that the baristas here are working very hard and they should not have costumers they have to deal with like that.

Really good place for both baked goods and coffee! Pretty clean establishment (didn't use the restroom but based on the establishment, it should also be tidy) and the staff were kind. They did not screw up anyone's order which happens to me more often than you would think. It was near a collage so It was kinda busy and had a few people doing work but for a place with that many people, they served their coffee and pastries pretty fast. Only recommendation for the people who work there is keep being awesome!

This is definitely my favorite Heine Brother's in Louisville! It's close to my house and I have several friends who have worked there and are still working there. But recently I haven't been wanting to go inside to order my drinks due to the customers not wearing masks, I just don't feel safe enough to go in to the store and order or even just to see my friends who work there. The entire staff wears masks and I try my best to respect them and their work environment by wearing my own but with the increase in covid cases I think that bringing back a mask mandate for customers would not only help my piece of mind but it would also help the staff feel safer at their work place.

I stopped coming here for a long time, but I stopped in Friday & again today. I’m very happy that I did, the staff was very friendly and my coffee came out quick! I was asked by 3 staff members and a manager how my day was. Kudos to him & all 3 staff members! I will be back!

Good coffee, good place to study. Awesome cinnamon rolls!
