Primo's Pizzeria

Love it here. Same concept as the big chains like Mod or Blaze, but better AND it’s a small local business! They also have some innovative specialty pizzas like their Tikka Masala pizza (shown in the picture).

Pretty delicious build-your-own pizza, with vegan and gluten free options. Speedy and friendly service. Decent prices too!

Primo's picked up right where Pieology left off. Awesome pizza. One of my favorite 'customize your pizza in front of you' places. I just hope Primo's doesn't try and change anything because Pieology knew what they were doing and had a good product. If you have the chance to stop by, do it... you won't be disappointed. I will update my review later once we go back later and see if there have been any dramatic changes.

Delicious! Loved the wrap and pizzas so much. Hope they return to Jtown soon!

We were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. The flavor of this pizza is like no fast food pizza restaurants. You choose your topping right down to the spices. The open fire oven adds that extra touch to the crispiness. I would love to have ordered a bigger size to take home the leftovers....definitely will visit again.

This place is great. Prices are good with tons of options to customize pizza. Ingredients are always fresh. The young adults behind the counter are usually really friendly, the manager has been there many times and always checks with us at the end to see if we liked our food. I like to choose different options each time I go to mix things up.

I give this spot 5 Stars! It may look like your average neighborhood pizza joint, but Primo's Pizzeria is anything but!

I wandered in with a friend on a Wednesday afternoon. We ordered two thin-crust pies to made to order: I got olive oil, pesto, a little red sauce, red onion, spinach, garlic, basil, olives, bacon, sausage, mozzarella, and my friend ordered theirs with chicken, mozzarella, tomatoes, butter/herb sauce, onions, and garlic. When our pizzas arrived, our expectations continued to be exceeded.

The crust was crisp and flavorful. The toppings were so FRESH and worked together beautifully. The marinara and pesto were packed with flavor, and the mozzarella had a great consistency and very little oil. By the end of the meal, we were planning our next visit.

Clean restaurant and family-owned. The friendly staff were very helpful and accommodating. I checked with them about the extra “room” that closes off from the rest of the dining area and it is available for large groups and fund-raisers. I appreciate the vegan and gluten-free options, although since I am both it makes my pizza a bit pricey. Our pizzas were very delicious and perfect the first time, which had become a problem in my visits with the previous owner, Pieology. I’m so glad we still have this option, new and improved, in the J’town/Hurstbourne area.

My husband and his crew eats here at times when they works in the area. This was my first time coming here and it was great. I was hesitant at 1st bc I’m not a big fan of pizza, especially when you go through a line to basically tell the workers how to make it. Lol! However, the service was on point and the pizza was very fresh! It’s basically a Subway restaurant for pizza, instead of sandwiches lol. That’s the best way to explain it. I wasn’t a big fan of the marinara sauce alone, but it was actually (somehow) even better on the pizza & after I actually gave it a try. Overall, this restaurant was better than I actually expected. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

The owners came around multiple times checking on us and asking if we needed anything. The cauliflower crust pizza was great! I ordered unlimited toppings for just $8.99. Great deal

Excellent pizza place. They made the crust well done to my request. Staff was helpful and owner was also present who came and talked to us. Awaiting some new Indian flavors to be brought in.

My wife and I were very pleased with the Vegan options here. The man that answered my call and gave me my pizza were very nice and friendly. The pricing was very reasonable as well. We will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely love this place!!! Pizza is delicious and the staff is amazing. The owner comes around to check on tables and makes sure everything came out good. must try the pumpkin ice cream in the fall!! It's delicious!!

Dang was this pizza good. And its reasonably priced. It's at least a dollar for the crust and 7 bucks additional for 1 topping, and 8 for unlimited(set prices). Its essentially a pizza subway but it's so gooood. Can not get enough! Friendly staff and clean restaurant, a great food place.

Best pizza in Louisville! I can't believe how much better than Blaze this pizza is. I'm never going back to Blaze! The owners were very friendly..I can't wait to go back! Primos pizzeria is legit 🔥

I was looking for a new pizza place to try and came across Primo’s after reading their reviews I decided to give it a try and I’m VERY HAPPY I DID!! Everything exceeded my expectations from the pizza to the salad and shall I mention the prices?! Phenomenal and this is now my NEW FAVORITE PIZZA PLACE!! 💯💯
