Doyle's

A really cool historic diner built around the original dining train car restaurant! It is an original "Silk City Dining Car" (Google it!). Food was good. The family friendly atmosphere was perfect. Oh yeah, baked goods! Prices reasonable.

Stopped by for breakfast. Haven't been here in probably over 20 plus years... I remember when Doyle's was just the Diner Car... Love the fifties music playlist on the overhead... coming back next week to sit at the counter...

Our sever was a beautiful woman, 60 plus years old but move like in her twenty’s. She was quick, kind and helpful. I forgot her name but she was from Costa Rica. Thank you again and keep it up.
The food were great. Cornbeef hash was delish.

Cute and relaxing atmosphere. Servers were exceptional. Everything was delicious but the crab cakes were outstanding, lots of crab. Very good!

We went there for the all-you-can-eat chicken and dumplings. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel very welcome, would recommend Doyle's for a good down-home country meal. Love the bread basket and the retro malt shop

Great food, prices, and staff! We went for the "all you can eat" chicken and dumplings. Our server, Pam, was fantastic! She was so patient with our chatty table, and super prompt on all the refills. We will definitely return!

On our way to the beach we stopped at this diner and it was delicious! The french toast was so good! Coffee was the same at any diner but it was a really cute place!

This is a small ma and pa place. It was super cute on the old dinner side. The food was great too! The prices were pretty good. I had the veggie omelette and it was delicious! I also really loved the home fries. The people with me had pancakes and they were huge! I will definitely be back

We stopped in looking for something easy and not busy for a later afternoon lunch. The staff were super friendly, greeted us as we arrived, promptly took our orders and served everything quickly. I ordered a sandwich club that was so good! They use turkey breast (not lunch meat) on the sandwich, that was a nice surprise! Everything was fresh and had great flavors. Their fries were so hot and not greasy or salty, just perfect! Prices are fantastic and you get a very large portion! My sandwich lasted me two meals! Parking is very easy to navigate, plenty of room. Bathrooms are clean and stocked. Overall I would recommend it!

Food was good. I had the salad platter with chicken salad. It was nice and plentiful. Prices are good for what you get and it was all fresh. Would definitely recommend. We stopped for lunch on our trip home.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident. My husband and I were celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary and wanted a place with good homemade food and a quiet atmosphere. That's exactly what we found. The crab dip was excellent, all you can eat flounder was cooked just right, and the homemade desserts melted in your mouth. It wasn't until the end of our meal that I found out it was an old diner and they had milkshakes. I will be back for a chocolate milkshake. Highly recommend, can't wait to try again!

Very friendly atmosphere, bread was homemade. Food was great and at a good price. I returned to Doyles again this time for lunch, had great fried chicken, service was very friendly and helpful, atmosphere was upbeat with oldies playing in the background.

This establishment has been a mainstay for many, many years. The owner is a great man and treats his customers as they were Royalty. Great breakfast and lunch buffets.

The title of this review should be " The Italian Dressing".
We stopped here on the way from Virginia Beach to NY. My son was craving some pasta and my wife wanted just a Cesar Salad. So we ordered 2 pasta dishes to share with my son. A chicken Alfredo and cheese ravioli. So my son does not care for the side salad that comes with the pasta so I ended up eating the salads and he ate most of the pasta. The crazy thing is I just asked for Italian Dressing and that was a home run. It was so good that I asked if they sell the dressing. I bought a quart of it and took it home. I had friends over and we made salad and served that dressing. It was a hit. Too bad the place is 4 hours away. Service was good and people were very cheerful. Cheese ravioli portion was on the small side.

Awesome place. They proudly display the American history the original diner portion of the building holds. Breakfast was delicious.
