I had my first appt here today & I have never had such a pleasant experience in a doctor's office. Everyone I interacted with from the front desk to the pharmacy was so kind and respectful. I saw Sara Hauke & they listened to my concerns & took them seriously. They discussed in length my new medications, what they are for, and any possible side effects.

THEY HAVE GENERAL PRACTITIONERS WHO WILL SEE ANYONE.

What a pleasant surprise.

Their pharmacy is outstanding - more medications than Kroger Pharmacy, plus the staff is friendly and kind. I was greeted immediately when I walked in the door.

I have lived in East Walnut Hills for almost 20 years and never knew that this place was here.
They apparently opened in March, right before Covid started.

I came to get my Covid booster and a flu shot.
I got right in and right out.

I cannot say enough good about this place.
By the Cadillac place on Gilbert.

I cannot say enough good about this place, and I am quite I often a creep. Kind of like people at the Kroger pharmacy or CVS down the street. Plus it’s for a good cause. A+++

This is a shout out to Liz!!!! Girl you rock so much! In my 3 years of being your patient, you always go above and beyond to make sure all of my medical needs are fulfilled. Idk where i would be if i never came to Equitas. This awesome place and top notch care has truly saved my life. I always look forward to coming in! Liz is the BEST!!

Everyone I’ve ever been seen by or spoken to from here has always been nice, compassionate and informative. I highly recommend as I was in care with them for over 2 years.

AMAZING!! This is the best medical center I have ever visited. Words cannot express how grateful I am for Equitas and their services. The staff is friendly, the environment is clean and welcoming, and the quality of care has been some of the best I've received.

I absolutely love the care provided by Equitas and Dr. Stryker. I've always been treated with the utmost respect and care. When I am in the exam room, I feel like my concerns are actually listened to and potential options are always explained comprehensively so I feel I am making an educated decision.

I have been going here for 2 1/2 years and my experience has been mostly positive! This is getting 5 stars because this is the best HRT provider and general medical care experience I have had in Cincinnati.

First off, I do not have health insurance due to affordability and being unable to qualify for Medicaid. They set me up with a specialist to help me apply twice, and he was extremely kind, thorough, and helpful even though I didn’t qualify. He even set me up with some local resources (thank you Marcel!)

Their sliding scale has allowed me to afford medical care and I am extremely grateful for that. This is the most affordable clinic I’ve ever been to.

The therapy wait here is extensive but they were able to set me up with a social worker in the mean time and was able to see a therapist in less than a year due to my health situation. I am a year and a half through therapy here and both of my therapists are the BEST therapists I’ve ever had, and I have gone through many therapists in my lifetime.

The phlebotomist and blood test department has been on top of it. I’ve never had a bad experience with this and I struggle to get my blood drawn. I get my results almost immediately and any concerns have been addressed.

I do wish there were more primary care providers here. I haven’t had a negative experience with primary care providers here yet, but some long term HRT questions go unanswered. I don’t blame the providers here for this necessarily, this is a common problem in general unless that is their only specialty or study. They are still able to answer most of my questions and give me good referrals.

Sometimes there are issues with hearing the front desk staff over the phone or being able to reach them. I have difficulty reaching anyone after 4pm, so call early.

I’m not a fan of the nurses here, they are very cold or abrasive. I have only liked 1/4 of the nurses I’ve had here.

The psychiatrist here is great! She has been able to answer all of my questions, very non-judgmental and informative. Able to reach her between appointments.

The pharmacy is the best experience I’ve ever had with a pharmacy. I like that I can get anything shipped to me and they are very in top of things. Any financial issues I’ve had were able to be worked out.

In general I would recommend this place for affordable trans-friendly care. Any issues I’ve had here have been way worse with any other clinic in the city. I wish they could expand their services and providers, and hire better nurses. Sometimes it seems understaffed here, I can only hope things will improve!

I have never felt unwelcome, unsafe, like an oddity, or misunderstood here. Equitas provides essential access to trans healthcare in a safe, comfortable, and friendly environment. They are very inclusive and I have never had my nonbinary identity questioned, invalidated, or used to keep me from accessing any transition care I need. Every member of the staff I've come in contact with is great. Also no awkwardness at the pharmacy. I cannot recommend this place enough.

An amazingly inclusive and friendly facility. Dr. Stryker listens and is never bothered by my concerns. I feel heard and understood. I always feel like I can ask questions to anyone and receive thorough answers. They are also very understanding and accommodating to anxiety/panic disorders, and I've never felt like a burden. Truly grateful for this facility and staff! Also, shout out to Nurse Ray for always being a joy to work with.

Didn't have to wait long before my 1st visit, it was a virtual visit but was prescribed meds for my health issues during that 1st apt . I normaly don't like going to doctors and actually hadn't seen one in over 10 yrs. I usually get anxiety about Doctors but i felt fine here, they take their time to actually talk to you and it doesn't feel rushed. I highly recommend Equitas

This place is awesome! From staff to doctors it’s been a life saver for me.

I visited for my first appointment and had an unbelievably affirming experience. As a trans man my healthcare experiences have always felt difficult. This is the first time I’ve ever felt seen, appreciated and welcomed in a health care setting. Service was exceptional and every person I met seemed happy to be there. Dr. Stryker took time and looked at the wholistic person that I am. So very grateful this facility is in Cincinnati. I highly recommend for any LGBTQ person who is looking for a great healthcare provider.

Just moved to Cincinnati from NYC this summer . I was very concerned about finding a place where I felt comfortable for health needs having a few poor experiences with doctors in the past. Equitas goes above and beyond to make sure you feel safe , welcome and comfortable. After each visit I have felt so in control of my health. The staff explained every process and answered every question I had . They also are exceptional with virtual visits and the portal online or through MyChart app helps you connect easily to your health records , tests results and medications . You can also ask questions and staff responds in a quick and helpful way ! After going to Equitas I for the first time in my life have felt like I was in good hands. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful ! Also huge bonus they have a pharmacy and can mail rx to you too !

After searching for a new primary care physician, I was pointed in the direction of Equitas Health by a friend of mine. I never knew what truly good, inclusive, and professional healthcare was until my experience here. The people are wonderful and caring and the environment is safe and welcoming for LGBTQ+ folks like myself.

If you are LGBTQ+ or are just looking for a diverse, welcoming healthcare environment then this is the place for you!

I was so glad to see that Equitas came to Cincinnati. They offer inclusive healthcare to the LGBT community. I established care with them after my PCP office closed and I am so glad I did. They are super knowledgeable and the entire staff is friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be recommending this place to all of my friends!

The people here are kind. They are understanding, courteous, and respectful, and were very forthright. Anything I didn't understand they walked me through, and I felt I actually got to know the staff a little, even through only a few short visits. Affordable too. I felt safe there.

Okay so this place is not perfect and in a jam you may find yourself just going to the ER or urgent care, but they are trying to be better. I don't know if angels are real but if they are, one works there as a pharmacist and her name is Joelle.

To be honest I absolutely love my doctor but some of the nurses are very rude they answer the phone very rudely I understand that is early in the morning but everyone has a job to do they're very rude
