I have been going to Shorty's Barber shop for my cuts for a couple years now. I started at Shorty's original shop on State Street in South Salt Lake, but since have loved their new location in Sandy. They do the freshest cuts, they listen to you and do exactly as you wish at a great price. Very friendly. Easy to schedule online as well. I highly recommend Shorty's. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

elijah is a miracle worker. i’ve got very thick and lots of hair and he was able to make light work of it and give me a fire fade. will be returning to him for sure hit them up for any hair type or style

Elijah cut my hair and did an amazing job. He was kind and professional and got it done in a timely manner but it was super high quality work. I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my hair but knew I needed a change. Elijah was very patient and helped me decide on the right style for me. He was friendly and we had a nice conversation, which was great. I hate barbers that are completely closed off. The facility was clean and had good energy about it. Best barbershop in the valley. Shorty and the rest of her staff are professional and talented barbers who deliver a perfect and consistent cut, time and time again. If anyone is new to the area and wondering which barbershop to go to, this is the one! I came here when I first moved to SLC and haven’t considered going anywhere else since.

I highly highly recommend! We took our toddler here for his first cut and they were absolutely AMAZING!! They were patient and made us feel comfortable! They know what they are doing. It was the perfect first haircut experience and we will be going back!

Went twice. First time with Nate, second time with Abram. Nate was very polite and did excellent work. We had great conversation. I was very happy. Abram also did excellent work. I let him kind of do his own thing and was not disappointed.very polite and very talented. They both have a bright future ahead of them. SUPER happy with mine & my daughters undercut, Shorty & Kylee are rockstars. Super professional kick but female barbers holding it down in this super slick shop. Pride of ownership shows! Superior cut (even with a squirmy kid). Kylee did an excellent job making my daughter feel confident & brave with her edgy cut.

I have had my hair cut here several times now and end result is always great. The inside is clean, modern, and well lit. To top it off the owner is great to interact with. I enjoy going there and I look forward to get my cuts here on a regular basis.

One of the best haircuts I've ever had was done by Kylee who turned my two and a half month growth into something slick. She took her time, was very attentive and meticulous, and it was obvious that she cared about her work. Cuts are very reasonably priced and the shop is very clean and has a great vibe. If you're looking for a great haircut, go see Kylee at Shorty's - she knows what she's doing.

I’ve been going to Shorty for a while now. This is by far my favorite shop I’ve been to. Being black in Utah has not made it easy to find a good barber. Super clean and friendly, and has a good low key vibe. Always great conversation if you want it but there’s also no pressure to chat if you’ve had a long day and just want to kick back. Shorty puts in the same amount of effort and attention to detail on your 50th cut as she did on your first. Go to this place! You won’t regret it.
