The Ranch

We didn’t know you NEED to reservations. We sat at the bar and had excellent service by Hailey. We had walleye with Wild rice cakes, they were delicious. I got the seafood trio and everything just melted in my mouth. My husband had a 16oz ribeye and it was done to perfection. Last but not least, the Pink Squirrel for dessert. All delicious! Definitely going back and highly recommend!

Warm, welcoming, & treated us like family! Brandy half sweet old fashioned was great!! & the Manhattan with 46 parallel rye whisky from New Richmond, WI was recommended by local couple drinking at the bar waiting to sit in the dining room. Get a reservation! But we sat at the bar and loved it!

The staff here are great. They are friendly and very accommodating. I enjoyed the pre-dinner spread and my steak was so tender and delicious I was in heaven. Two thumbs way up.

Had dinner there last evening with my friend. I had the filet and she had the prime rib. Both were perfectly cooked and delicious. Loved the relish tray and the Old Fashion's. I can not remember our servers name but she had a beautiful stone necklace which she said her niece made for her. She was absolutely fantastic!

Each visit which have been many since moving north has been a delight! From the workers to the food and drinks. Very friendly, awesome atmosphere and of course always delicious!!

Friendly and great service here. We were surprised when they brought out a very nice relish plate to munch on. You will find a nice bar area and outdoor space that makes any wait pleasurable. The restaurant has very tasteful dining room area with views out to the garden in the back.

The steak was really great, service was stellar even on a very busy night (Birkie weekend). The drinks were great and the dessert was too notch, too. Even the pre-salad veggie platter (very supper club) was fresh and tasty. The only downside I can think of is that it got really loud and hard.to have conversations when our fellow Birkie skiers got talking loudly around us.

I have been going to the Ranch for over 20 years. Consistently good food and service. It is your stereotypical supper club. I really like the walleye, scallops, ribs and steaks. It can get busy so call for reservations.

Visited this supper club on a snowmobiling trip and I was very pleasantly surprised.
The food was amazing.
Prime rib was spot on and cooked to perfection. Wait staff is top notch as well.
From start to finish.... The entire experience was one of my best.
I will definitely be back when I am in the area.
You owe it to yourself to try this place if you seek the true Wisconsin supper club experience

Had the ribeye. Excellent. Had the walleye scampi. Excellent. Nice atmosphere. Great location.great service. A traditional Wisconsin Supper Club with old Fashions and lazy Susan.

It was on our bucket list to try a supper club for dinner and the Ranch did not disappoint. Amy was an awesome server and everyone's food was delicious 😋.

Great food and service. Ordered the ribs, and they were exactly as described in the menu, fall off the bone. I barely touched them and the bone slid right out and was completely clean. My wife had the seafood trio, and she had no complaints, it was her favorite meal that week and we stopped at many other supper clubs in the area with the same quality of food. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed an amazing Saturday evening dinner at The Ranch in December with great friends. The atmosphere and service was wonderful. Everyone loved the menu, including the relish tray with the entrees, and we don't couldn't get enough of the Old Fashioneds. The prime rib was outstanding, the best we had in some time! I highly recommend making The Ranch one of the places you enjoy when in the Hayward area!

Great place, versatile menu, a piece of history. We enjoyed our entrees and relish plate. We also had Our little one who enjoyed the food as well. The staff and guests were very welcoming, we really felt at home.

Best supper club I've been to since I moved to Wisconsin 6 years ago! Best steak I've ever had. The ribbon with the walnut blue cheese butter was to die for. Try the mussels if you love seafood! Can't wait to vacation next year and have another meal there.. The bartenders were great it as well!

A requirement of a visit to the northwoods is a stop at The Ranch. Sip a Wisconsin tradition an Old Fashioned or a delicious ice cold Spotted Cow. Super friendly employees at this family run supper club, making sure you have an amazing meal! Don't miss a stop for the best Steak around Hayward!

Wow. It's been a long time since I was in a supper club. This is one of the best. You really need to call ahead for reservations because it fills up fast. The food is amazing. The prime rib is very good. All the stuff they give you before the meal is a nice touch. The prices are up there but so worth it. The staff where amazing and friendly. Just go to this place. So worth it.

Wow! Excellent and classic supper club. The Ranch is a must visit! The food and cocktails were A++. Staff and service were great. The menu is just right: classic supper club offerings and enough variety that if red meat isn't your thing, you've got great options. Our party ordered steaks, salmon (and chicken tenders for the 11 yr old 😉). Everything was outstanding. Tables were socially distanced and we felt super comfortable with the way the place was managing safety this year.
