My wife and I normally go to a place nearby to have our toddler's hair cut, but they were all booked up so we came here to have it cut. Last time we went to the nearby place it didn't turn out great.. I am glad we found A Hair For Kids! Because the hair cut turned out much better. She was also great with our son and gave him toys to play with while he got his hair cut. A better experience and better cut for the same price. We will definitely be back!

I took my 4 month old daughter for her first ear-piercings. The staff was so patient and knowledgeable. They worked together to make sure we had the best experience and was very informative about the process and aftercare. I was so impressed by the salon and the different services offered. Absolutely adorable space. I will return once my girl is a little older for the mommy and me mani-pedis, haircuts, and parties. 💕

Just love the results I got from Justine’s magic fix of my hair color after the “home box color” that was supposed to be strawberry blonde came out carrot colored. She fixed me with a pretty shade that my husband says is just perfect for me. Justine is very attentive and a good listener. I had her trim my hair as a walk-once before and I was happy then as well. The salon was recommended to me about a year ago and I kept that in mind and very glad I did.

I have been getting all three of my children's cuts here for years now and they are sincerely magicians at working with my kids, ages 2,3, and 5! They are so patient and kind (with such squirly and emotional little ones), and I always love how adorable my kids look afterwards! If you need dedicated and reliable people to cut your kids hair, book now!

My daughter came here for her first haircut experience and glad we did. She was scared and crying when we walked in but that soon stopped with Miss Kathleen with smiles, toys, fun and excitement. My daughter settled down and eventually got her hair cut. Looks so cute! Thank you for making the experience great for her. We’ll be back for sure!

We got our 3 year olds ears pierced here and they did an amazing job. They are super friendly and know how to make kids feel welcome. I love that making an appointment reassured me that there will be 2 people there to pierce the ears at the same time. My daughter loved that they put a little sparkles and made her hair smell like a cupcake at the end. Highly recommend them!

My children absolutely love this place!

The layout is great…to the adult section, to the baby/toddler cars with dino stickers on the wall, to the area where my girls are made to feel like princesses leaving with so much confidence! Its a great place. The first hair cut certificates are super cute, my son is now 4 and I still have his framed with his cute little baby curl. The princess party’s are such a great idea too and my girls cannot wait to try it!
The creativity radiates through this place and the staff is so great! 10/10 for sure!

My daughter had her birthday party there & loved it! Justine & Grace did a fantastic job. All the girls got glitter updos & gem makeup. They also got to dress up & walk the red carpet. If you're looking for a place to have a birthday party, I highly recommend booking here. They have many packages & themes to choose from!

Was our son's first haircut. He sat still VERY well, enjoyed his experienced. Justine was awesome and even enjoyed cutting our son's hair. Took our daughter there 5yrs ago, and would do it again/recommend to anyone!

Our son has been going here for his hair cuts since just before he was 2 yo and he loves it! The extra steps they go to make kids feel happy and comfortable is so wonderful. From The cars to sit in during hair cut, Disney shows to watch and toy area After to play with! Not to mention Kathleen is so considerate and works with the parents and kiddos! My daughter had her 6th Birthday party here and it was great! The kids had a lot of fun and the staff was wonderful.

I was so fortunate that A Hair for Kids was able to get both my daughters in for haircuts the same day after another kids cuts place cancelled my appointment- they did an AMAZING job! Both my girls had a blast and Kathleen gave them the whole treatment- hair perfume, hair style, glitter! My girls enjoyed the whole experience! Would definitely recommend!

As always Kathy did a fantastic job with my extremely thick hair. She shampooed, cut, blow dried and styled it for less than an hour. She is very thorough & gives quality service. She is also very patient with her customers even with some that maybe very impatient. With a couple of team members along her side, she manages so much in a short amount of time and strives to please her customers the best she can. Thank you Kathy for the great service I've received for a few years now!

Took both of my daughters (ages 4 & 1.5) for their first hair cut today. Kathleen was absolutely fantastic and eased all my worries within seconds. My oldest was surprised to get her nails painted while her little sister got her hair trimmed! Overall it was a fantastic experience and Kathleen will now be the only person I go to for my babies hair. Highly recommend!!

I took my three year old daughter here for her birthday. I had been searching for something fun that my daughter and I could do on her special day. I spoke with Ms. Kathleen on the phone and she gave me a list of activities that we could do for my daughter. I notified Ms. Kathleen that it would be just my daughter and I and that was no problem.

We booked a craft session of lip gloss making, sugar body scrub making, and lotion making, which was a thrill for my daughter. Ms. Pam's assistance with that was fantastic and I highly recommend it for a young child.

I also booked a unicorn facial which was handled with care by Ms. Pam. Although my daughter was skeptical of a mask on her face she was made comfortable by Pam and ultimately loved the treatment and attention. I got great pictures during this and had just as much fun as she did.

Ms. Kathleen then took my daughter for a nail painting (fingers and toes). This was a highlight for my daughter as she loves having her nails painted. What was so cool about Ms. Kathleen's service was she gossiped with my daughter just like you would think of in a nail salon for grownups. They got along great and her nails came out very pretty.

Lastly, we had jewel gem makeup done by Ms. Kathleen. This was a true highlight and my daughter didn't want to wash it off!

All in all Ms. Kathleen runs a fantastic business that really helps little girls feel special as they should. She and Ms. Pam are hilarious to interact with and make Dad's feel so comfortable too. I highly recommend coming to A Hair for Kids if you are looking for a special day for your young child. They also do themed parties! But I can only speak to the one on one treatment, which was second to none and truly made my daughter feel like a princess!

We took our less than one year old to get a hair cut. Kathleen was great with him. She was quick with her hands as our child would move their head constantly! Their haircut turned out adorable and very impressive for a squirmy kid. We got the 1st haircut package, it will make a great memory! There was plenty of distractions to help keep kids calm while getting their hair cut. Support local business and take your kids for a fun experience getting their hair cut!

Ms. Kathleen was absolutely amazing. She was able to accommodate us on short notice, and exceeded expectations. My 6 yr old autistic daughter who doesn’t like her hair washed or cut sat so nicely while Kathleen was so patient with her. Will 100% be returning!

Kathleen was great with our little one. He is almost one year and she did a great job getting his haircut with his little attention span. His haircut turned out so cute. I would definitely recommend!

I highly recommend A Hair for Kids. We could not have had a better experience getting my 8-year-old-daughter’s ears pierced for the first time. I had researched other well known named shops and decided they weren’t for us. The team at A Hair for Kids Salon, including Kathleen, the owner, Justine and Jill put my daughter and I at ease. They not only spent a significant time educating her about the process and cleaning her ears, they made sure I approved the mark where they would do the piercings. They only use the latest technology, which includes disposable ear piercing equipment so you are assured of cleanliness.

1, 2, 3 it was over and I had a very happy little girl. And, then Grandma asked if she could have her ears pierced! So she followed my daughter and had hers done the same day!

By the way simultaneously there was a little girls party going on in another area. It was clearly a very fun place to have your child’s birthday!!
