12/18/23 update:
Great service again, okay good this time but they were definitely packed and not expecting the crowd they had. Loved the Christmas decorations and themed drinks and food.

10/13/23 review update:
Service was absolutely fantastic and I was super happy to learn that you can order a lunch sized salad. Their spinach salad is my favorite and had a great cilantro dressing. They have some fall themed cocktails that are delicious.

Old review: Good food, particularly their crab dip, and okay service. Often loud and full of college kids though.

Haven’t been in Timothy‘s for about 20 years.
we used to go there all the time for lunch from work.
Back then Timothy‘s was the place to go great food great service.
I went there this past weekend my godson had his wedding reception there.
20 years later the staff is still exceptional the food was exceptional the atmosphere was great.
Since this was a late morning reception what was unique about this was the had a breakfast buffet which was pretty cool.
They had a fruit bowl chip beef gravy pancakes sausage links scrambled eggs fried potatoes.
On the one side wall they had the buffet table was from kinda nice because when you look out the windows you saw the beautiful creek I’m streaming down on the side of the building.
We were on the second floor for the reception and downstairs was the restaurant itself again I said it for 20 years later everything was really nice beautiful and I know my godson and his wife really enjoyed everything was going on that day.
If I could Great more than five stars on this restaurant I would.
definitely check the restaurant out.

Attended a baby shower on the second floor of restaurant. Fantastic buffet food, clean and soft, chewy chocolate chip cookies. Beautiful space for a special occasion with a sports bar on first floor.

Excellent food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. We have been coming here for years and we love it. Happy hour specials are outstanding too!

I've eaten lunch here a few times, had food delivered to my office several times and have gone to events here multiple times and food and staff have always been excellent. They have an upstairs bar with pool tables and a great event space.

This review is written by a friend of the family who arranged and attended the luncheon. After the funeral resulting from an extremely violent criminal event that took place in Pike Creek in late September 2023 the daughter of the deceased choose Timothy's of Newark as the luncheon destination. Timothy's was professional from start to finish. Not only was their banquet space CALMING and beautiful, the staff assigned to our luncheon was five star. Just PERFECT. The drinks were WONDERFUL. The men gathered at the bar for bourbon and whiskey shots after the meal and were able to relax.
We choose Turkey, Chicken Parmesan and meatballs from the banquet menu. Everything was cooked to perfection and came out hot. Our appetizers were veggies and dip, and grilled chicken. Again, cooked to perfection and the chicken came out hot. I miscalculated the times. (Timothy's had to be ready earlier.) The appetizers were ready and waiting. This tragic incident was earth shattering and heartbreaking. Timothy's provided a place for the family to gather, to reflect, to bond and to regroup as we discussed and planned our readiness for the impending court dates.
A note to Timothy's, it's not just having the food ready, hot and providing great drinks in addition to EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE (from booking to the final payment.)
It's giving everyone one less thing to worry about. Thank you for pulling this off flawlessly. Thank you for your great service, your attention to detail your delicious food and for everything. We cannot thank you enough.

Fast service, delicious food!

My visit to this restaurant in Newark Delaware was a continuation of her celebration from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia this past June of 2023. The restaurant's 2nd floor ambiance was rustic and certainly reminded me of restaurants in Texas.The food was tasty and delicious with a buffet presentation that was extraordinary to the salivations in one's palate. It was a nice time had by all.

Food was delicious! The New Orleans pasta, Crab cake platter, & the nachos were delish. & our waiter Eric was the best. Great service, definitely revisiting when I'm back in town.

A patron from out of state, I've been here three times for family events: a birthday and two funerals repasts. The upstairs is a beautiful place to have a relaxed event. I love the retro factory/mill look and view over the creek. It's spacious, and the two well-kept pool tables add some nice entertainment. The staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful, and attentive, especially the bartenders. There is a great selection of draught beers. The buffet was fresh, tasty and diverse.

Excellent place delicious visiting some friends in Delaware from Jersey went to purchase a car at Martin's Mazda was referred by the salesperson Aaron H. Excellent referral delicious, everything came out perfect great atmosphere great service Mary hands-down excellent woman what a waitress, Martin's is the place to buy a vehicle🚗🚙 and Timothy is the place to eat and hang👍🍔

The food was great last time I was there, I had the crab dip and fried shrimp. Also for people with gluten allergies, they have a separate menu dedicated to gluten free items (shared fryer). My other order food there the other day and we called twice to just confirmed that the items were safe and they were very helpful and professional.

First time there was for a baby shower. All the food and drinks were good. The event space was very nice we were upstairs. The rest of the restaurant was pretty busy, but we were still taken care of. Will be going again for regular lunch or dinner service.

Can I just say wow I work right next to this place and I have never visited! I seen it I went in I love and forever fell in love. The way it is set up it's right on the Little Creek you can sit outside. You can sit either in the shade or the sun. In the inside nice and cool the whole atmosphere is calm cool Collective and the food is amazing the food that I got was the Tuscany spinach sun-dried tomato Alfredo kind of chicken Alfredo it was to die for then my partner got the ribs I mean wow on those. Then the appetizer I had quesadillas which they're jalapeños were fresh cut raw and delicious! customer service here was great no wait time great prices and just really really enjoyed this place and recommend it if you pass by Timothy's going into Newark you have to stop and to believe that it used to be a warehouse wow it looks amazing just a simple plain Warehouse they really turned it into Magic!

Timothy is a cool spot. I went there for the first time Saturday June 24 2023 for my Aunts 63rd birthday. The food was goos and our waitress was great at her job.

Was attending a military party on the 2nd story. The buffet food quite good, open bar great and the cake made in Baltimore awesome!!

Friendly service. Food was good. Excellant and diverse beer selection. A nice place for large groups, but it's a bit loud. Hard to talk to anyone not right beside you.

Went here for our 50th wedding anniversary surprise party. It was catered very nice. Food was very good, staff kept tables cleared, and bar personnel kept the drinks flowing. Onlr draw back was one of our guests tripped in the sidewalk outside the door at the bottom of the ramp. She scraped her knee, and blood was coming out.

Busy college sports bar on a Saturday night. Pub food that is not fancy but well prepared. Lots of screens with sports, mix of students and locals. Large parking lot so it is easy to visit. We have dinner there after the theater. Great fish tank in the center of the dining area.
