Mary Ellen Mackey is an amazing realtor. She worked hard to find the perfect location for my family and business. She is very knowledgeable about the different programs and what homes will qualify for them. She was honest about what we needed to look for when purchasing a home. She was very understanding of our needs. After many showing and her ongoing dedication, she helped us purchase our first piece of the world. My husband and I could never thank her enough for everything that she has done. We plan on purchasing more land and a summer get-a-way, when this happens, Mary Ellen will be our first call!

Between waiting for homes to come on the market and doing walk throughs I would build up a lot of anxiety and stress due to the market, but after talking with Mary Ellen I went home feeling hopeful and much less stressed. Mary Ellen Mackey is the most amazing realtor out there!!! She was absolutely wonderful to work with!!! We started working with her last year before we got married but my husband decided he wanted to wait until after we got married. She was so supportive and told us not to worry about it and let her know when we want to start looking again.
The second week of March, we were ready to start looking for our first home. Right away she told us the steps we needed to take to get everything ready. As we were getting all that together, Mary Ellen was getting a couple different listing ready.
My husband works 12 hr days 7 days a week so we knew it would be hard for us to get him to look at any houses. So my dad went with me and after going through a few houses I knew I found the perfect home for my husband and I and our future family. Problem was that we would have to get my husband to go look at. But she made it so easy and made it happen early the next morning.
That night we made an offer and then the waiting game began. I was so worried that we were not going to get it but she was so positive and kept tell me to not worry! Then we found out that our offer was expected!!
Her effort didn't stop there. Our loan we qualified for was a FHA Loan which can be kinda picky. So we needed to grab some stuff from Menards for the house she offered to meet us there and help us get everything! Who can honestly say their realtor did that!? We can!!!!!!!!
Two weeks ago we signed papers for your first home and we couldn't be more excited!! We are so greatful for all of Mary Ellen's hard work and dedication to finding us our perfect home!

If you want a realtor that holds your best interests in the highest regard, Mary Ellen is your realtor. My wife and I were looking to buy our first home and had no idea where to start. She met with us an explained the process to us in easy-to-understand terms and gave us time to get our ducks in a row before moving forward. Something that was particularly helpful for us was her general knowledge about homes, how they are built, maintained, and things to look for. It was like having a Home-Inspector/Realtor combo.

Availability was never an issue for her, despite us searching in an area that was typically a 45+ drive for her. She even drew up an offer for us while she was on vacation! We ended up buying our house for less than we anticipated and we have her negotiation skills to thank for that. We could not be happier with our experience.
