Great wall Chinese Restaurant

Small place, mostly for takeout or delivery - I've tried many other places, but Great Wall has been my go-to when I get a craving, for 16 years. My family has never had complaints like some other reviews. Would be nice if the place got fixed up a little more, but even with delivery the food is always super hot and freshly made!

This place is amazing. My wife and I both agree it is the best Chinese food around.
I am a door dasher and can attest that people order from here to have it delivered anywhere from downtown Wilmington, Elkton Maryland, and Kennett Square Pa.
That is how great it is.

Food is always hot and I've never had a problem ordering. The location has a classic vibe and could be updated but it serves its purpose. The online ordering is fantastic and makes things a lot easier as well.

Ordered Door Dash From Great Wall last night. About 10 minutes after I placed order door dash went down and was down for hour and a half. Prior to Door Dash going down dasher was not assigned to pick up order. When Door Dash came back up dasher was assigned to order went to store and had to wait for order. When order was delivered it was hot and fresh. The Dasher apologized for the wait he said he had to wait for Great Wall to remake the order. Great Job Great Wall you could of just sent out order that had been sitting there like I read online many other restaurants did but you had pride in your product and made sure it was fresh and hot before you sent it out. Customer for life here.

ALWAYS has the BEST food....i won't go to any other place! Best egg rolls, lo mein and general tsos chicken!

Update a year later. Still my favorite place but tonight really disappointed me. We were missing part of our order and both me and my husband ordered spicy and neither of them were spicy at all. Still delicious but definitely disappointing.

I just ordered Moo goo gai pan along with shrimp fried rice for my husband and we both love love loved it! It was fresh, hot and the portions were perfect. Best Chinese food we’ve had in a very long time. I would post a picture but we already ate it!

Food is always great. Special requests are actually fulfilled (i.e. no peas in fried rice, extra spicy). Delivery times are well within reason and sometimes much faster than expected. Definitely recommend.

Excellent orange chicken! Consistently great flavor and presentation. Steamed/fried dumplings awesome too.

One of our favorite go-to Chinese delivery places. Food is always delicious & delivery is always prompt. The few times that we’ve been in to pick-up, the staff were very friendly and fast.

Absolutely wonderful every time. This has been my go-to local spot for years and they have never disappointed. Get the almond cookies! It’s a secret treasure from this restaurant.
