Mac's Pizza Shack

Mac's is a long-standing Janesville staple. They have won many awards, and they deserve them. Service is always friendly, the food is good. Great variety of pizzas. I just discovered that they also have gluten-free chicken strips, yay. Great place to bring the kids, to have a business lunch, or to catch up with family and friends.

Back in the day we refered to Mac's (under the prior name) by a derogative term. There is nothing derogative about the place however. The pizza bar is always great with lots of variety...salad bar too. I do miss watching pizza being made through the window by the side door. Service is always great. They support local organizations too by giving back 10-15%. Today the Christian Motorcycle Association cleared our table. Thanks Mac's for supporting the community and providing a great place for family, friends, and businesses to dine.

Nice smaller place to sit down and eat. Great family atmosphere. We stopped for the buffet on a Friday night. It was pretty busy, but there was parking and seating still available. The food was great. Pizza and broasted chicken and sides. Can beat the price anywhere close. These are the local businesses we need to support!

Buffet was delicious,prices are a lot more than in earlier yrs. Service is good. Parking lot is nice.nice soda fountain selection.

Made an order online, said it'd be an hour, but showed up in half the time. Also, pleasantly, the food was piping hot! Everything was so good. I ordered 12 piece chicken basket with garlic cheese bread. Our family of 4 ate everything😋

Absolutely the best broasted chicken around. Also a fantastic salad bar.

The Broaster Chicken was excellent, the pizza was decent, salad bar nice variety, and the cinnamon desert sticks were great as well. Would definitely go back if I’m in the area.

First time for the pizza buffet it was exceptional chicken was great not a bad thing on the buffet must try it out

I came in town to visit family. They brought me to Macs and it was so good. The food was very good, especially the chicken. The service was exceptional. Great family restaurant. I will definitely be back!

Not many buffets left, and this one is a Janesville classic. Great broiler chicken and plenty of pizza. Add in the affordable price and tou really can't go wrong.

Kids loved the arcade and buffet. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Food was hot and delicious! The restaurant was clean and inviting. We had a large group and were able to make reservations which was very nice!

Great place to take the family, kids could be kids. We could make a reservation for a large group. Fun lil arcade. Good pizza, Amazing fried chicken! I feel like we annoyed the staff with our 2 questions though. We will be back still!

Every time I go here it's for a birthday party. Nice space with the game room for the kiddos. When ordering specific pizzas, they come in a timely manner. The buffet is awesome when food is available in it.

Always great food! The buffet is a nice touch when it comes to a pizza and chicken place!!! Staff is always fantastic. It gets super busy but worth the wait!

I could cry right now! First time, ordered the chicken! IT WAS SO GOOD! Came so fast and was HOT! Delicious, juicy! Even the white meat! So glad I took a chance, I have been missing the mark with takeout lately. My only regret! Not tipping driver more! I’ll get ya next time! Thanks for delicious HOT food and fast delivery!
