Popular spot for sledding with kids. Lots of families around. The slope is long and gentle and makes for good runs.

as a high schooler, we ran our home cross-country meets in the parkway and after the first 100 yards we ran dewey hill up and down and finished in the reverse direction. we would kill opposing teams on this hill.
