Goodboy Vinyl

A little hole in the wall shop with tons of stuff in it. My youngest son has decided he wants to start collecting vinyl so we stopped here since it’s close to the house. It was a great find! Everything is sorted and alphabetized. While they mainly have vinyl, they also have CDs and cassettes and some books. The best part was the $1 bins where we found a couple dozen to take home with us.

Great selection and prices. Awesome, pleasant and knowledgeable owner and staff. Everything is well marked and organized with a wide array of quality new and used LPs. Fantastic dollar bins, and a very top notch jazz section. I've bought punk, psych, jazz, funk, dub, hip hop and rock from this place. It's easily the best record store experience in New Castle County.

My wife and I recently began collecting records. My wife found this local store so we checked it out. Glad we did. This store is organized well, prices are fare. Positive atmosphere and tunes. Also met the good boy himself and I can vouch he is in fact a good boy. Lol

A small store that is packed. Good selection at extremely reasonable prices! I only had a half hour to shop but quickly found 13 albums. Most were less than $5 each. Next time I'll plan half a day. If you're looking for something specific, they will help you search, but you'll have more fun exploring on your own. Expand your collection; broaden your taste.

Great place for vinyl! I always walk out with more records than I planned to buy. Staff doesn’t hover over you but they’re ready to answer any questions you may have.

I’ve been going to this record store for over 4 years now and it has hands down the best prices I’ve ever seen. No store depletes my life savings like this one does. Genuinely one of my favorite places and is easily the best record store in the area. I go at least once a week to see what’s come in and always end up leaving with something I wasn’t expecting to find. The owner is one of the nicest and most easy going guys out there and is always willing to help in any way. Truly love this place and will never stop going as long as it’s around!

Tucked away in an easy to miss Elsmere retail building featuring a salon and record store, Goodboy vinyl is a hidden gem. Music is bursting from every nook and cranny. With new and old vinyls, CDs and cassettes (yeah...I said cassettes!) This store is a great place to find your jam. Be it new and popular or old and obscure, there's a good chance you'll find it at Goodboy. Plus....who doesn't love any store with a Labrador as their logo!

I have been to this magnificent store a couple of times now, and I have enjoyed it each and every time. They always have a great selection of albums. I always get pleasantly surprised by what they have in stock. The staff their are all very nice and helpful. The store also has a great atmosphere, I never feel out of place or judged while I am in there. I do not think that anyone could regret shopping at this great store.

Great place, well organized inside, guy didn't hover while I browsed but I knew where he was when I needed him, which I appreciated. Had question about one album from their Instagram that I was looking for and had overlooked in my browse, he knew right where it was. Will definitely be back!

This place is amazing. They have an amazing collection and it is less expensive than looking for music at a thrift store. Besides Vinyl they also have a great selection of CD's and incredible Books. I would very highly recommend it.

Fantastic record store! It may be a cozy shop, but the vinyl is so well organized and arranged that there’s plenty of space to move, dig, and stack. The prices are some of the fairest on the East coast, the selection was fresh and vibrant (ample punk/emo/post-punk/hip-hop/reggae) and they threw in a bonus $5 record after I’d bought around $80 worth! No sales tax, to boot, and only a few minutes off of I-95. A must visit.

I have only been there once. I have been to grooves and tubes many time. His albums are great, but you need to expect the prices for the real good stuff reflect the Centerville location if you know what I mean. He does have vintage equipment. Goodboy had a great similar selection and great "Elsmere" type prices. Try it out for yourself. They were great to me.

One of the better local record stores in the #302. The staff is knowledgeable, and if you give them an idea of what you are looking for, you will not be disappointed with their recommendations. Prices are fair and reasonable. For the size of the store probably one of the better selections of used records I have come across. GoodBoy definitely maximizes their space. The store is easy to see from the road and they offer free parking. Highly recommended to any vinyl junkie out there

One of the best record stores for good selection that is updated regularly. Super chill staff. Prices are consistently surprisingly low. They make better offers on trade-ins than any other store I've traded with, as well. Worth regular visits.

Goodboy Vinyl is easily one of Delaware's hidden vinyl gems. A nice small store that packs every inch of it's space with incredible music. From that new vinyl you want to that rare record you can't live without, Goodboy has got you covered. Great selection of genres as well. Employees are knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended.

Great selection. Good prices. Incredible sales. We visited during their Dollar Sale, when they had some good stuff available for 4/$1. Nice staff, too.

Great selection of music! I came in looking for a certain album which wasn't on the shelf. The guy there helped me look through the new arrivals and ultimately found a copy in the back that had just arrived. He even pulled it out of the sleeve and gave it a cleaning for me. I'll definitely be back to Goodboy!
