I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. Instantly my dog and I felt comfortable. They explained everything in terms I could understand. Went out of their way to obtain records for my puppy who was adopted from another state.
It was clean and professional. All staff knew what they were doing. I loved the layout of check in and check out.
And above all it is very affordable.

Great, attentive staff! Our primary vet was swamped and unable to give us a call back when we needed help discerning whether or not we had a pet emergency.

The receptionist was so helpful, helped talk us through a best plan of action and contingency plan with an emergency hospital in case our vet couldn’t squeeze us in.

Clearly a popular place as they were fully booked.

Everyone was very receptive and sweet. They took their time and listen and wrote down everything I told them. They also had great feedback and encouragement. They were very thorough and well prepared for my first visit. Excellent job everyone.

The team is always exceptional. They truly care and the billing is reasonable. Dr.Miksic spotted a tumor and guided us to the proper animal hospital for quick follow up treatment for our Bernese. She made many phone calls on our behalf and really cares about her patients.

I cannot say enough good things! Dr Zellmer and the team here are fantastic. I had an emergency and they were able to get my dog Luna in right away. In all of my appointments they always explain things throughly which I appreciate as a first time pet owner. Everyone is so kind and my dog loves going!

Awesome staff. I'm a retired MD. Our dog had knee surgery here, it was excellent.

Last night, my family had to put down our first dog. Even though they close at 5, I wouldn't be arriving till after. They let us stay and take our time for almost TWO hours past close. They gave us all the time and support that we needed. Thank you to the staff for your kindness and patience. If you're looking for a place full of compassion, this is it.

The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The drs are all great. I never feel like they are rushing. They answer all my questions thoroughly and the plan of care is clearly explained. It’s easy to get medication and schedule appointments through the app. My dog is not stressed when he arrives or leaves and he gives the treats offered him a 10/10 !

Our dog Jingles suffered a traumatic injury last fall at a local groomer resulting in a broken femur. With the location of the break the options were amputation or an extremely expensive operation by a specialist to put a plate and pins in. In discussing all options for a course of treatment we decided to do a more cost effective approach which included multiple custom casts and biweekly visits with the friendly staff.
I can't say enough about the constant care and compassion for our dog. It was like he became an extended member of their family and was taken under their wings and as you can see by the picture made a full recovery and is as active and more playful than ever.
Simply put they are the BEST!

Have been going to a vet for decades fairly close by and was hesitant to switch or even try a new place. Well both my GF and myself gave it a try and we were so happy with the outcome. Great people on all levels. This is our new place for our pets.. Amazing....

Had both of our new kitten's fixed and declawed. New checkups and all shots. Not low cost but necessary for our new family members. The staff was great and helped with our worries. Gave the kitties treats and toys when we left. We found a veterinarian for life!

I couldn’t be more happy with my experiences at Oconomowoc Animal Hospital. The receptionists are always welcoming and the communication we have had surrounding our dog’s procedures and medications has been very clear. In the current COVID era, dropping your dog off without knowing what is happening can be a bit unnerving, but I’ve never doubted that he is in good hands. We’ll be getting another dog soon and I can say with confidence that there is no other place I would even consider bringing him.

We have been going here every since we got our dog Bentley. They have always been so great to us with everything we’ve ever needed. When it’s something serious they always work with us to get him in as soon as they can. They’re always very thorough with their explanations of what’s going on and with the exams itself. Our dog is a huge baby when it comes to getting exams or shots but they’re always so sweet and take their time with him and make him as comfortable as possible. Even the receptionist are the sweetest people ever (especially Lori!) thanks for all that you’ve done for our little baby!

OAH is a wonderful vet. Their staff is so friendly from the moment you walk in. All their vets and vet techs are so caring and you can tell they really want to help support your pets health. I used to drive up from Chicago for annual visits with my dog because I trusted their team so much. Would recommend!

We love our Dr. Miksic and all of the girls in the front and her techs. Moved to Waukesha and still bring my pets there.

I’m always treated with such kindness here and so are my dogs. I’ve been to several veterinary clinics in the past, but Oconomowoc Animal Hospital is by far the best! The clinic is always clean and never too crowded, and I’m consistently impressed by how thorough they are when treating my pets!
