I can't express how smoothly the trade-in/new item purchase process went during my recent transaction with Bo (@Overture). I was searching for an audio component I couldn't find locally and wanted to trade in a retired component. Luckily, Overture's website appeared at the top of my Google search.

The key reasons for my Five Stars rating are timely responses from their website, excellent communication, clearly explained processes, and updates that ensured I understood the process proceeding as described.

Throughout the process, Bo made me feel valued as a customer and demonstrated a genuine concern for providing excellent customer service. I really appreciate his efforts!

I review can not express how pleased I am with the service from Overture! My wife walked in early in December, simply just to get an idea of what it would take to have a theater system installed in our home and we walked out with a lot of information and options to consider. The sales staff is a no pressure team that doesn’t push anything not the customer. We spent almost 2 hours on our first visit talking with the Sales Manager and going from room to room learning about the options available (they are limitless). We explained what we had in mind and were shown some set-ups that would give us a similar composition. At the end of that day, we left with an education and a plan to have Overture come out to do a detailed look and build us a project plan and estimate. At no time did anyone ask my budget and I didn’t volunteer it - they truly want to learn what I wanted without putting me in a financial box
Overture
The field design was put together by the Project Manager and he spent an hour at the house taking measurements and understand exactly what I wanted. Again, no sales pressure, just a simple understanding of what I wanted. We talked about the sound, the set-up, the hardware he would recommend, he took my feedback and gave me some ideas on what price point each of my “wants” would range in.

Within a few days, I received my estimate with several options and they had hit my internal budget right on the head! I went back into Overture and we talked through some options and made some revisions to the estimate and I approved the project. Through out the ordering, planning process, the staff kept me well updated and alway took time to answer questions, even if they were silly questions (to me). They gave some recommendations on the room I was remodeling and how to best plan for the installation.

After a short period, the equipment arrived and my room was ready for the installation. Their install team were fantastic! There was a day of pre-wiring and those are the same guys that can back for the final install - I think thats awesome! They knew the system and were there to warp up the final installation. The install took place over two days, hardware and final wiring on Day 1 followed by final programing, adjustment and tweaks the following day. Day two was more personalized service, working with the Field Technician on how I wanted to view the picture, where we would sit to watch the movie, what window treatments we would have, controller options, speaker placement, etc - it was extremely personal and I didn't feel like it was HIS installation for HIS system.

I have a few minor technical challenges on the first night (which I expected) but a phone call, text message and a quick follow-up had all my answered resolved and even had a visit from the Project Manager to make sure I was fully satisfied with everything.

I have to be honest, we initially went to Magnolia (Best Buy) for a consultation and in store, they were fantastic, giving me every answer I asked for, the follow-up was horrible. I booked an appointment, never heard from them until 15 minutes before the start of the appoint - which was prompted by me leaving a voicemail earlier in the day letting them know I could be available sooner than our appointment if needed. I received some song and dance and finally agreed to get a call back in a few days to reschedule. Here we are 4 months later and I never received a call back… I believe truly that I wouldn’t have been as satisfied with Magnolia as I am with Overture.

Overture has put a childhood dream of having my own full blown dedicated movie theater right in my own house. Special thanks to Roni, Jeff and the install/technical team for everything.

Superb high end audiophile shop. Dave Mason is the man lol! Took me many years in my life to be able to acquire a system I had dreamed of and I wouldn't choose any other place to get it. I chose Focal Kanta 2s which are just amazing -- both visually and sonically. Absolutely the best sounding speakers in this price range - Focal is a very special company. Powered by Marantz SR8015 and connected with Cardas Parsec cables. Took months for the speakers to come in from France, and worth the wait and then some. Overture is a really beautiful store with fabulous listening rooms. Dave was more than willing to have me listen to many systems and many different set-ups to be sure I would be happy. He was never, ever pushy -- and he let me listen for as long as I wanted. Strongest recommendation, no doubt at all.

Went to Overture to buy some new speakers as I'm in the process of downsizing my home. Roni set up one of the demo rooms perfectly, with all the electronics and audio I have in my house. He then spent the whole morning helping me listen to my top contenders, and comparing them to what I currently have. He wanted me to see, that I'm better off staying with what I own and not buying anything new. Imagine that! An audio store that is more interested in making their customer happy with their audio experience, then selling them a pair of speakers they don't need. Call me a loyal customer for life. These guys are the best I've met anywhere. If they don't sell it, you don't need it. I didn't!

A big shout-out and well done to the folks at Overture and in particular Robert Bobo, Jamie Wilson, and Cory Beaver. I was looking to upgrade my phono preamp and found Overture with an online search. They gave me an excellent trade-in price (a rare thing indeed!) for my existing preamp (a Parasound JC3 Jr) towards a new Parasound JC3+. The transaction was fast and seamless and I soon had the new JC3+...which turned out to be a defective unit, the first time that's ever happened to me with a new piece of audio gear. Overture contacted Parasound, I shipped the defective unit back to Overture and in just a few days had another new JC3+, which sounds absolutely sublime. It was a pleasure doing business with the Overture professionals and I highly recommend them. I will certainly use Overture in the future!

I'm in the process of upgrading my current speakers. I spoke to Dave and Cory at Overture and they helped me narrow my search quickly. I'm from NJ and they were very flexible setting up an appointment. We had a great time and I'd recommend them to anyone. No heavy up sell. Some hi end audio retailers only push you to the top of their line. Thanks guys

The Sonus Faber Olympica Nova III now have 200 hours of break in. The speakers have a balance of clarity, tonal balance amazing base, instrument placement and amazing sound stage. The journey began when Dave Mason in sales spent and afternoon demonstrating at least eight sets of speakers from different manufactures. My listening taste is jazz. The process used a Hegal integrated that matched my equipment. The narrowing down was helped with Dave's experience to demonstrate the strengths and limitations of each set. The conclusion was the Nova III were magical. The journey with Overture continued with the setup carried out by Jason and Steve who optimized the speaker placement to optimize base, balance and sound stage.
I listen now everyday with a big smile and enjoying the music. Thank you overture for taking me to next level of music appreciation from a home steroe.

Especially helpful were Jason, who took the lead in helping me install each of my new purchases, and Ronnie, the sales manager, who has been easy to work with and who has been able to offer me substantial trade-in value for each of my upgrades. Amazing. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
I have been purchasing hi-end audio equipment for years and I can honestly say that the people at Overture are simply the best in the business. They have a no pressure approach to sales and will allow you to audition equipment in the store in a totally informative and no pressure environment. Dave Mason, yes that is his name, could not have been more knowledgeable or helpful.
I have had installation personnel come to my house on two occasions and on both instances the service was incredible. Steve Cap, in particular, could not have been nicer when upgrading my system.

Working with Bo was a real pleasure, he's knowledgeable, honest and truly loves Audio. He helped me with a trade: Kanto YU6 speakers, desk stands and upgraded cable towards an Ortofon 2M Bronze cartridge. Wow is all I can say with the sound coming out of my Kanto Tuk Speakers. Looking forward to my next Audio system upgrade with Overture and Bo in 2021!

Being my initial foray into higher end audio, I was a bit intimidated with HI-FI stores. My experience with Overture audio quickly dispelled that perception. I found Bo, our sales consultant, was so easy to deal with, with no pressure selling and extremely helpful about my choices. Super happy with the trade-ins I got, I was able to move up a notch on my speaker choice. Bo set up an audition of the equipment I was buying and was really patient in answering our questions. I had to wait a bit for the equipment given shipment delays and Bo made sure I was kept up to date on arrival times. I couldn't be happier with the purchase and the experience with Overture I wouldn't think twice about recommending them. Kudos to Bo and Overture for an excellent customer service.

I recently ventured down to Overture for a demo session on amplification with similar speakers I have. The set up was professional and an enjoyable experience. No pressure, was able to explore performance with all the time needed. I followed up this session with an in home demo as recommended by Dave which was an easy transaction. He was right nothing like listening to the equipment on your own system. Dave also makes a good cup of coffee. I look forward to going back, as they have excellent listening rooms and equipment to consider for all parts of an audio system.

Called and asked if a certain item was in stock. Bo told me it was and that he would hold it for me since I was an hour away. My experience started with my reading an ad offering trade-in credit towards the purchase of audio equipment. I thought, what-the-heck, and submitted a list of my current equipment. Dave Mason was so quick to get back to me and make me an offer that I could not refuse, but most importantly, he treated me like a friend with absolutely no pushiness and with kind advice. It's kind of scary sending several thousand dollars far away without any assurances of it being a legitimate business, so I thoroughly checked Overture out. My search seemed almost unreal as every review and different area that I checked revealed a very reliable place to buy. I even checked out Google Maps to see if their building was really there. As you can see, I needed a lot of reassurance and was totally satisfied with what I found. I did notice from one reviewer that if you come in the door in person, you better be dressed right and look right to get the right attention. But that didn't matter for me as I could look like a slob and work with Overture on-line and on the phone. Dave walked me through the process of buying from them, gave me some advice regarding alternatives to what I was considering buying and why my choice was a good one. I bought a Marantz AV8805A Processor Preamp. It came double boxed, shipped by UPS, and arrived two days after I ordered it. Overture is absolutely incredible and Dave Mason made them so for me. I'll be back... and back... What a wonderful experience!!

My wife and I could not be more pleased with the experience we had at Overture. Dave Mason, our salesperson, is quite knowledgeable and offered excellent advice about the choice of products available. He was especially patient with our decision-making, offering insightful advice but never "pushy", always tailoring his recommendations to our goals. Dave is an exceptional salesperson: expert in the technical aspects of each product, and expert in dealing with people. Our experience at Overture was just what you'd hope for when buying high-end audio. And our installer, Jason, was also excellent. He was not only efficient, but also helpful with advice and information. Again, we couldn't be happier with our experience at Overture. And this excellence is consistent: We first bought a MacIntosh preamp at Overture years ago, when our salesperson was Joe Jezyk. It was Joe's professionalism and helpfulness then that brought us back again for this latest purchase. I simply couldn't recommend an audio/video dealer more highly than I do Overture. These folks inspire confidence!

My friend and I recently purchased Magico A3’s. Although I haven’t visited the store myself, my friend did and said it was extremely impressive and that the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Having dealt with Dave Mason at Overture I couldn’t ask for a nicer more knowledgeable person who really cares about his customers and is attentive to their needs. In short we’re very happy with our purchase and thankful that all the arrangements went without a hitch, and we’re happily enjoying our A3’s. I purchased a Rogue Sphinx V3 Integrated amp from Bo. I had a great conversation with Bo about the equipment I was considering and he was very knowledgeable, professional and personable. I traded in an existing amp and the process was very smooth, plus I felt like I got a reasonable value for my preowned equipment. The only drawback is that I had to wait a few weeks for the new amp to arrive since the factory had gone through a shutdown due to the Pandemic and Overture did not have one on hand. Being an impatient person, I hated to wait but I completely understood and Bo kept me in the loop. Now that I have the new gear I can say that it did not disappoint in performance. Definitely well worth the short wait. The Sphinx V3 has plenty of power and compared to my old equipment it seems more pleasing to the ear. I would highly recommend Bo at Overture and the Rogue Sphinx.

Having tried out a couple of high end audio stores in Virginia, and dealing either lack of interest or the inability to compare systems, I decided to make the drive out to Overture in Wilmington. I couldn’t have made a better decision. From the setting up the appointment, being allowed to compare options against my music system, hours of auditioning, being helped through a completed unrushed process, and getting a great price with a fair trade in, everything about my purchase experience was great ! I am the proud owner of a Hegel h190 and Focal aria 936 speakers. I really appreciate Dave Mason for his knowledge, patience and help in completing the acquisition.

Overture , and especially the salesman Robert Bobo who took my order, made sure everything went smooth with my turntable purchase. It was exactly the model I needed, very well packed, and it arrived on time. Every email was promptly answered, and he was extremely knowledgeable about what he sold. When I requested double boxing, it was done with excellent packing methods. I am very well pleased with the turntable and I would definately buy from Overture again in the future!
