Deeg's Grill & Bar Mexican & American Food

I can't wait to come back and eat here again! What a great find this restaurant is!
This place has fantastic food!! Great variety of American and Mexican choices to eat and their prices are more than fair, too!
Our server, Jaydah, was great! She made good suggestions, told us the specials, and answered all my weird questions about the food... not to mention she was very attentive & friendly.
I had a large order of chicken strips & fries and my husband had the beef tacos. We also had an appetizer of hot wings to start.
The hot wings were fricken awesome!! Nice crispy light breading and delicious vinegar-y hot sauce on them..yummm. Even though they were all flats & no drummies, I couldn't complain.
The chicken strips were meaty & the breading amount was perfect. The fries were crinkle cut (my favorite) and cooked just right & all the food came nice & hot to the table...phenomenal.
My husband said the tacos were delicious. They came with sides of salsa verde & when I tried that, I fell in love with it. Fresh tasting and the right amount of spice, as it should be.
Btw..They make their own Salsa Verde so it's not from a generic jar or something & it's the best tasting version of it I've ever had. They should jar it up and sell it! You've got to try it!
Don't pass up the chance to eat here... I'm sure you'll like it.

Amazing burgers and bloodys.. we will definitely be back!! The bloodys are homemade, not too spicy... but not weak at all. Great place to enjoy your meal at a great price!!

Deeg's is an institution! The best food & the owners' Jimie and Theresa are the icing on the cake. No chain food, just originals like the Deeglite is a must have! Ditch the chain and get home cooked goodness from awesome local people!

The food is the best and the service is fantastic. Very friendly staff.

Always a solid choice in Watertown. Stopped in last night for $0.59 tacos & they were the best tacos I've had in a long time. They also have a great fish fry and wings.

UPDATE 1/19/2022: 2 years later and they still don't disappoint. We've been going for breakfast almost weekly and the food is always great. The waitstaff even remembers what we order.

This place is great. Can get busy, so just be aware of that. The food is always delicious hot and fresh. We love all the options here. Breakfast is so good, not super greasy like pine cone is. We come here over there all the time. Portion sizes are huge, you could most definitely share if you wanted too, we don't haha! The staff is always friendly, kind and works very hard. Place is clean, has had some upgrades lately, and we are all for it. Menu is large and offers something for anyone. Can even get a basket of fries for breakfast ;) The enchilada dinner is my favorite, the deeg delite is so good, the pancakes, omelets, skillet meals, I mean really, I could go on and on, but definitely can't beat the 2 2 2 deal!!

Went for the first time, been living here for 4 years, decided to try the breakfast, and it is hands down the best omelete in watertown. Weve been everywhere and tend to travel 40 min for breakfast joints, but the chef has been there for 30yrs, its not dry, over cooked or anything! Service was good! And you can't beat the prices! Definitely returning!

Food was great more than we could eat So we brought home leftovers. Just didn't realize that they close at 8:30 pm but even though we walked in at 8:15 they happily served us. Great staff and waitress.

Friendly with good food. I took my daughter for breakfast. She can't eat cheese or gluten but could still easily order (Had western omelette with no cheese). Prices great too- If you want to go cheap you can get coffee or juice and breakfast for under $5/person.

I have eaten here 3 times and every time the food has been delicious and the staff is friendly,you got a lot of food for the pricing

Since we moved to Southern Missouri, we look forward to visiting our favorite eating places "back home" when we get back. Deeg's has been at the top of our 10 most favorite places. They have great service, excellent food, reasonable prices & I enjoy a good beer on tap. We highly recommend Deeg's to our best friends because we're certain they will not be disappointed.

My sister and I went for Taco Tuesday, the food was very good, service was good, was fast, waitress was friendly, overall we enjoyed it and plan on going back

Tacos are great (especially the grilled chicken soft shell flour), besides they are always nice and accommodating. Prices are very reasonable and the food quality is consistently good. (oh, and they are fast as well).

Awesome prices, great flavor, wonderful food, amazing staff and atmosphere! Superior quality! Taco Tuesday and Deluxe Deeglites are not to be missed! Must eat location when in Watertown Wisconsin! You won't be disappointed!

The Deeglite is amazing, taco meat deep fried in a shell with all the taco fixings you like over the top of it. You can not go wrong with it by any means. To make it even better there is a breakfast version. OMG, you have got to have one. I love Wednesday's because they are 2 for 1. I never found one of these anywhere else, you must try one, you will not be disappointed. From someone who dines out frequently, I know good service is hard to come by and in all my visits here I have never had bad service. Highly recommend!!!!!!

We had a few things tht were jus miscommunicated to waiter, but were easily fixed. The owner is great and made things better...I have goin here for 20 plus yrs..ALWAYS BEEN A GREAT EXPERIENCE,FOOD N STAFF. Def worth goin to if u never have.

I ate chips and salsa. My husband had steak tacos which were excellent. Margaritas are great.

Really enjoyed our meal. Food was fresh and hot. Not crowded when we went. Easy in and out of parking lot.

We found this place on the way home from a softball game. It's a unique combination of Mexican and American; we had the Friday fish fry and it did not disappoint. Next time we're in town, we'll be back!

Very nice. Clean, great service and pleasant atmosphere. Food was very good. Prices were on the mark. No problem recommending Deeg's to anyone. We will definitely be revisiting here.
