I ordered a carrot cake for a baby shower and it exceeded my expectations! I sent in a photo and brought in an arrangement and they did an amazing job! Everyone at the shower were blown away at how beautiful it was and it tasted heavenly! It was too sweet. I was so happy to have leftovers! We always go and get items out of the case and love them! This is the first time I had a custom cake made! This is definitely my go to bakery from now on! Wanted to give a huge shout out to the team that made our cake, we couldn’t have been happier!!! Thank you!

My favorite for just stopping by are any of the pound cake slices. I often pick up a personal pan cheesecake for unsuspecting friends.

My mother used to make German chocolate cake for my birthday. I had been reminiscing for a few months and finally ordered one from Sweet Something’s… .

Please don’t hate me for what I did (see pic) The cake was delicious! Perfect balance of ingredients. Other than the first legitimate slice, I ate the cake with a spoon as if it was a bread bowl.

Although we had a bad experience a few years ago we came back and gave them another chance. Sweet Somethings has made my kids’ birthday cakes for the last 6 out of 8 birthdays. They make beautiful cakes and this year was no exception. We LOVE the marble cake and it’s the go to birthday cake for my twins. We hope to continue the tradition for years to come.

Sweet Somethings made my wedding cake and I could not have been happier with the final product! My two tier cake was made on time and tasted fantastic. We had the white chocolate raspberry cake for both tiers and asked for a "semi-naked" icing (we added flowers and cake topper ourselves at the venue, but Sweet Somethings would have also done this detail as well if we wanted). They provided exactly what we asked- we received MANY compliments on the quality of cake as well as the design. Thank you thank you thank you for helping to make our wedding day so special.

I can’t recommend Sweet Somethings enough!! The cake was delicious, and Lee made the experience so easy. The customer service was truly top tier, and I plan on returning in the future for all my baked goods needs!

Sweet something’s never fails! This shop has done many cakes for us and even our wedding cake! Chocolate Oreo is our favorite and we get it for every occasion and get sooo many compliments and requests of where it’s from. They made a custom cake this past weekend for my husbands 30th and it was a beautiful fun cake, accompanied with maple bacon cupcakes which were different and everyone loved as well!

Ordered a cake design for a birthday based on pinterest. Blown by the craftsmanship by the baker. My fiance loved the cake and it tasted pretty good.

I have got to give credit when credit is due. This place has shifted the paradigm and sweetened my soul with their cupcakes 🧁 if you have your house paid off, take a second mortgage out. The staff treated my family and me like we were the secret ingredient to a pastry. I will be eating one pastry delight every day like a multivitamin. Be well.

I called from Arizona to have cookies delivered to a coworker in the Wilmington area. Lee was more than helpful, going out of his way to make sure they got to the right place very shortly after I called. I will make a trip to this bakery next time I'm in the area just because of their service!

Highly recommend this bakery! I ordered a small lemon Chantilly cake and two dozen cupcakes (12 vanilla and 12 chocolate) for my baby shower. Huge hit! Lots of compliments, especially on the lemon cake. We decorated the cake with fresh flowers ourselves and those were from Spring Thyme herb farm. Also, Sweet Somethings staff was great. Will be back for next special occasion

Great experience got a bunch of cupcakes and a few other things. The oreo cupcake was sooooo good. Keep in mind the chocolate cupcakes are softer and more moist than the other ones. I ended up spending like $90 i also got a raspberry loaf cake. Was soo good. I kept it in the fridge for 2 weeks and it still taste so soft and delicious. Will definitely go back before i leave back home to texas. Only thing is i wish they baked cookies thats originally why i went because i thought the pics i saw on Google were cookies but it was cupcakes lol. Either way they are delicious.

Wow 🤩 wow 🤩 wow 🤩 i stopped to this bakery for my birthday coming up from NC and OMGosh!! That was the best decision ever! I bought the red velvet cupcake for my birthday and my husband purchased the strawberry lemonade flavor. Both flavors was soooo good. Please Go & Get Something Delicious From This Incredible Bakery !!!

The birthday cake was a hit. Usually people don’t eat cake after food. But this time was different. Almost all the cake was gone. Little pricey but totally worth it.

I reached out to sweet something’s for my son’s first birthday cake and smash cake. I sent example pictures and had a great conversation with Lee about what my vision was. They did such a great job and really captured what I wanted, and the cakes were delicious!
