ACME Markets

Very nice store, natural finishes remodel, soothing lighting, clean. Well laid out. A nice shopping experience. Some good prices, and good quality.

Seems owner got the "jerk" employees spoken about in other reviews taken care of. Appears now monitoring employee supposed to be keeping lot clean is actually doing it? Becoming a good grocery store. Walking distance to everything.

I was very pleased today while visiting the Acme store on Delaware Avenue. I received personalized help and getting the foods that I needed. Thank you again for your help forgot to get the young lady's name but I pray that she sees this and no it was her. I was the lady riding the scooter with the different color color dress on.

This has to be the most efficient shopping experience I’ve ever had. Just terrific absolutely!
Usually stores have packed lines especially in the city but I’m never in line more than 3 min here.

This store is awesome! It has everything I could ever need for grocery.

Great fried chicken. So good. Nice help inherently also. A nice special on chicken that day also ( cheaping chicken Monday)

DoorDash deliveries from this market are not working out. Dasher said most or everything out of stock - even substitute requests!!! DoorDash won’t refund delivery fees, tips, etc, and it takes 2 weeks or more to get my bank card refunded for missing items. I called store manager and confirmed both the original items and substitute items are in fact in stock! Beware! Have the store shop directly via online ordering, then arrange a separate 3rd party pickup and delivery with Uber, Lyft or whatever. #doordashscam

Great customer service they also hire kids/Adults that have disabilities that hits very close to home for me. Thanks Acme for being sooooooooooooooo great to your customers it REALLY does make the difference!!!!!

Very convenient, close to home and their signature brand is the best addition by far to their store... 👍

I always have a professional cashier. The deli folks are excellent, they know me and always have my order ready. The best staff ever. Keep up the good work!

Acme personnel are always the most cordial and helpful at this store. Asia opened a checkout isle yesterday with only three people in one line. Aaron readily answered all questions about local coupons. The delimeat server offered a few cuts to make sure order was desired thickness. This Acme's workers are always friendly, has fresh produce every time, and stocks many items. A wonderful neighborhood store.

This is a very nice store to shop in. It is very well kept and is extremely clean. The produce section is excellent. Acme always has great meat and fish. The people that work in this store are friendly and do a great job.

There is a very nice man here who always goes out of his way to help my wheelchair bound brother. This gentleman couldn't be nicer. He helped him in the self checkout lane and I am grateful for people like this. The stores ok but that staff member is the best!!

I called ahead to customer service and asked if they had any empty boxes I could have that they would otherwise throw away. They said they had 4 banana boxes. I said I would come pick them up.
Upon arrival, a man led me to the back of the store where they keep the spare boxes. He said nothing and moved very quickly. There was a stack of boxes on a wheeled pallet. He grabbed two banana boxes from the middle of the stack and yanked them, letting the rest of the stack tumble to the floor. He threw them in front of me and, still without saying a word, speed walked back to the main floor.
5 stars because I didn't pay for the boxes

I love this Acme! It's my neighborhood store and have been going there since 1997. Shelves were stocked, good sales going on and nice to see familiar faces. Terri and Larry are the best!!!

I can honestly say I do like Acme because it's one of the closest supermarkets to me in walking distance. but I'm not really pleased with the meat, because it seems a little high. but the produce is pretty good and the other items or just a little high for me. to go there just to get produce and because it's somewhere I can go quickly to get what I need.

I think the above reviews must've been before a remodeling or something. This place is clean, tidy, full of helpful staff, has a great selection, full deli, meat counter, self checkout lines, the works.

Awesome employees!! tho masks are 'required' I didn't wear one, explained 'I have a medical condition, exempting me,' & they didn't press it...which is as it should be. Love Acme market!!

This Acme has a wide selection of most any and everything you want. Always clean and employees are courteous and knowledgeable of where things are in the 🏪 store. It's well worth a visit 👌👍☺

Smaller acme but very easy to find what I needed. The staff was super friendly too! Fast checkout unlike other grocery stores. Will return (:
