I am a Vietnam veteran, TET offensive 68, I was there for 5 offenses campaigns. I have PTSD (100%) Disabled. I thought that Washington, DC was the worst VA Hospital? But I was wrong! Philadelphia VA is the worse, And Wilmington is the second. I applied in Washington, DC in 1975 for exposure to agent Orange, they told me that I was too late. so they did nothing. Now I have cancer. Again it was all about the money, just like Vietnam. Which I stated to the Washington Post In 1975. (see WASHINGTON POST INTERVIEW in 1975 AT Washington VAMC SGT HALL). Now I have cancer? I asked before to be put in a hotel prior to my treatment because my wife has Lupus, It was agree to, before I started treatment. We have only one car. My wife's life is in danger because the VA was paying a third party to pay the hotel bill, I guess they didn't because we got kicked out of the Hotel. Now I travel over 3 hours a day for my radiation therapy in Philadelphia, which leaves my wife no time for her appointment in Baltimore. If the hotel was still in place, I wouldn't feel like I'm kill my wife because she what me to complete my treatment because one of us have to live for our children and grandchildren. You give me a gas card for $50 dollar a week, it cost $24.00 a day round trip to Philadelphia from Dover, DE I feel like I'm coming back from Vietnam 25 Jan 69 and your throwing rotten vegetables and fruit at me and calling me baby killer again!!! If my wife dies there will be no excuse.
