Mikana General Store

This convenience store was perfect for us guys when we needed beer, fishing supplies, and advice about what’s biting on the lake. The worker was nice and gave us some good advice about where the walleye are nippin and what to use (leaches). We caught about 8 pan fish and slaughter a case of Truely Lemonades which made for a great day. Store 9/10, day on the water with the boys 10/10.

I went in there and said yo homes where is the bathroom at foo and she said go ahead idk what you other people complaining about

This place is not clean, not friendly and refuses to let customers use a bathroom. This place is in the middle of nowhere, so there were no other options. We were traveling through the area in February and stopped there for beverages, as we have done in the past. After purchasing our drinks, I went over to the bathroom and it was locked. The lady working said, "What do you want?" I smiled and said im just waiting for the bathroom. She said, "No you're NOT, owner doesn't allow that." Told her I've used it before, and I would only be a minute. She refused and after I asked isnt that illegal? She said nope, this isn't a restaurant. She refered me to the 'beautiful' restroom across the street and down the block. It was covered in human feces, and 20 degrees. It was a public outhouse where I am assuming they send all their PAYING CUSTOMERS. Glad the city of Mikana can foot the bill for this crappy gas station's guests. Told them we'd never be back. I recommend you plan ahead and stop in Birchwood or Rice Lake. Avoid this 'dump' at all cost.

This establishment refuses customers the use of their bathroom. The attendant said quote "The owner will fire me if I let you use the bathroom".
