Perfect place for a dinner date! They were able to assist me in surprising my wife during valentine’s day. They highly recommend reservations but walk ins are also welcomed. The server we had was nice and able to answer the bestseller of the resto. Parking space available at the back, street side or by the bank across.they accept credit/debit.

Absolutely the best Italian restaurant I have ever dined at, including the north end of Boston. Caprese salad was the best I've ever had. The tuna steak was the best I've ever had and my dining companion loved the pork dish she got

Excellent restaurant on main street! The ambiance and decor are great, the food was amazing, the drinks were well crafted, and our waiter Cory was awesome. Highly recommend this place for a nice dinner!

Luan and I had excellent ceasar salads before two superb entrees. She had the cheese ravioli special with a full lobster tail and scallops in a light rosa sauce. My meal was a fabulous veal chop with a marsala reduction, with mushrooms and a bit of cream mixed in. Chef / owner Frank was warm and open discussing what went into our meals and the service from Sarena was very good. If you're in Newport VT be sure to stop.

I had the fruit glazed salmon special. It was delicious! The salmon had a slight bite to its taste with a nice balance of sweet. The martinis are fun to try. Many flavors

Came here on a whim with my friends after a rough day and it was exactly what we needed. The wait staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. Every dish was cooked exactly right, each being distinct and perfect in their own way. The martinis were wonderfully refreshing after a long day on the road. It is a place full of heart and cheer, well worth the visit. My only regret in coming here is that I am unable to give them ten stars.

We were taken there for my husband's 49th birthday by our awesome friends, Conrad & Marilyn. The service was impeccable and the food was so delicious. The restaurant is well managed & clean. Be sure to make a reservation. We will return when we are back in Lake Salem visiting.

Great place for dinner! The staff was was very friendly. The Frutti Di Mare is mouthwateringly delicious, it was a wonderful balance of the fresh seafood and a rich but not overwhelming red sauce. The pork was cooked to perfection. Drinks and desserts provided a perfect beginning and ending to thoroughly delicious dining experience. We will be back very soon!

Was with a large group of people, they had great food and great staff. It was Italian style serving of small dishes spread evenly around the table. They then boxed all the leftovers up and invited everyone to take some home. If it wasn't a 2.5 hour drive each way, I would eat there often.

We’ve had outstanding meals and service here. We went here twice in a row. The black raspberry cosmo is awesome and the rack of lamb has amazing flavor.

We decided to come here for my birthday dinner Friday. Not knowing the area we pretty much based the decision on a couple photos and online reviews. We were not let down at all. The drinks, appetizer and main meal was phenomenal. Having been to Italy and enjoyed some fine dining there out standards are fairly high when it comes to taste. Lago nailed it in our opinion. We live about an hour and change away, but will most definitely be back!! Thanks for everything.

Frank's restaurant is a well-established destination for quality cuisine. The menu has reliable classics but is also adapted to reflect seasonal opportunities which the chef is passionate about experimenting with.

Very nice atmosphere, good drink selection, nice menu. I had the Farmers Salad, which was just right. The lasagna is enormous and looked incredible. Next time!

Best atmosphere in Northern VT for fine, relaxed dining. Superb bartenders and chef-owned (your Italian chef cares what you're served). This is a true family business with many locally sourced menu items. Eat here (and check out the martini board).

Wow! What amazing food. The owner is the chef, so you can understand and expect that the food he puts out will be phenomenal, as his restaurant reputation depends on it. Glorious serving staff. Highly recommend for a fine night out, or a relaxing way to end a stressful day

We have Always enjoyed the meals at Lago's. Ice variety without 101 choices. We go a couple times a year since it opened.

Oh my goodness, how Lagos hit the spot. We were away for a birthday weekend and boy did this meal deliver. We had a few amazing cocktails, we shared an antipasti, I had a caprese salad as myeal and he had the cabanara. We both fully enjoyed oureals and cocktails and made a note that we want to be back!

Great wine and cocktail list. Great Italian menu with something for every taste. Pasta was al dente, boar was tender and flavorful. Service was great without being pretentious. Value was spot on in a great ambiance.
