The Cafe on 26

This place was pretty good. We had apps, entrees, and some really nice wines. Id highly recommend the pork chop dish, the crab cake, and the shrimp imperial. Only dish I wouldn’t recommend is the crab bisque, they have plenty of other great plates!

We ate in the wine room and it was lovely. The ambiance is a major selling point of this home turned restaurant - you won't feel out of place if you're dressed up a bit. The food was quite tasty. The dry rub on the beef and the parmigiana on the salmon were both delicious. We expected the strawberry and mousse dessert to be good, and it was great. Fine dining without the pretentiousness.

Came here for my 44th birthday and really enjoyed it. The portions were huge, great value. We started with the crab dip, which was big enough for 4. It had huge chunks of crab. The pretzel sticks weren’t the easiest to navigate with the dip but were themselves good. I had the house special potato crusted salmon. My dad had the prime rib. We both were happy. There was no room left for dessert unfortunately. Decent wine selection but beer options were limited. Would definitely recommend, especially when their outdoor patio is open.

Unique little restaurant with some absolutely delicious meal choices. We dined in the wine room which was nice and fairly private. Filet and crab cakes entrees were amazing.

We heard excellent reviews & finally were able to try The Cafe on 26. We completely agree with others! Our meals were excellent. They were delicious & flavorful. The dining areas are charming and clean. Our servers were knowledgeable and professional. We will definitely return to dine at The Cafe on 26!

We love coming to Cafe on 26; the food is amazing, the service is outstanding and the atmosphere is warm & delightful. We enjoy everything from beginning to end. The ambiance is always a positive vibes. The best part is the chef accommodating my husband heart healthy diet. Isacc our waiter is very knowledgeable and helpful; We will be back again and again in the future.

What an incredible find. The food. Service. And again - the food. Incredible from start to finish! This will be our new spot during our yearly vacation.

Very nice place that my wife has been wanting to go to for a long time. We went to the 5:00 seating and got right in (need reservations). The food was excellent! I had the filet and it may be the best I've ever tasted. It's a little pricey but an excellent place to go for a special occasion.

I would love to spend the entire weekend of Valentines Day, eating the best foods at the Café On 26.
They have the top world-class chef’s preparing each meal, in a breathtaking ocean view atmosphere.
The Café on 26 has a dessert menu, that would blow your mind and their dinner menu is just amazing from 4pm - 9pm with reservations.

This was our third time here, once for lunch, twice for dinner. Each time we've sat in a "sunroom" that has four table settings. It's simply, clean and bright. So, I can't speak of the atmosphere for the rest of the restaurant; I haven't "explored". We should come back more often. It's a very good experience. Service has always been friendly and attentive. From appetizers to entrées, there's something for every taste and are prepared exceptionally. The wine list is very diverse with something to satisfy all price points. Desserts are always tempting.

Amazing location, and very intimate seating. Very few tables allows room for guests to breathe.

The award winning dish, is not that great imo. Basically we received a nicely cooked, generous portion of salmon, with a dollop of mashed potatoes on top, with some broiled parmesan. It was bland to me, in fact most of the dishes on our table needed more salt, even the double baked potato.

This restaurant could be so great, it has a great server, David, who could answer every single question (in detail) about the menu. The hostess however, needed training on how to greet guests. The menu is really amazing, but we felt it was too large of portions for us and could have been cheaper for less food. This would have allowed us to have tried more of the menu without getting full.

Cannot say enough about our experience there. Quaint atmosphere, friendly informative staff and the food was 5 star!

Food was unbelievable !!! Highly recommend the stuffed shrimp dinner. Haven’t had food this good in a long time. Must try if you are in the ocean view/Bethany beach area !!!

My wife and I loved our evening here. The atmosphere is super cozy, the place feels like a repurposed house. But don't let that scare you, it works great!

The food was really really good, I had what was possibly the best steak I've ever eaten there. Apps and dessert were really good as well. They also have a great selection of wine!

We will definitely return to eat here again. 10/10 recommend.

Lovely dinner outside in the courtyard for party of six. Service is always good but the team really worked to keep our water carafes filled, get our drinks and appetizers to the table and fill us in on the menu options. One member of our group has an allergy to crab so was unable to partake of the stuffed flounder, the server offered to have the kitchen cook just the flounder and it turned out wonderful. We love going here and make it a point to dine there when we are able. The only minor drawback to outside dining is the sometimes loud traffic noise from the adjacent street. Doesn't last long but can interrupt conversation at a large table. You will enjoy their fresh seafood, specialty drinks and other treats.

Wow is pretty much all I have to say…. Absolutely incredible meal. One of the best in the business. Isaac was excellent and provided great service. Will certainly be back!

It was such a joy to celebrate my Birthday at The Cafe on 26, a gem of a restaurant! The hostess was so friendly and welcoming and gave us a brief history of the beautiful restaurant. Our server, David, was outstanding - attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the delicious menu choices. Our meal was exceptional!!! The Caesar salad was so fresh and flavorful. My crab cake was truly excellent and my husband’s prime rib was cooked to perfection! Our sides were delicious, especially the twice baked potato. We shared a dessert - chocolate mousse with strawberries and whipped cream - sensational! We were so impressed with The Cafe on 26, the outstanding service and the exceptional meal, that we plan to return often! Highly recommend!!!

A 5+ star experience in every way! The seasonal menu had options for all taste preferences and appetites. Each item was plated with appreciation for a creative presentation. Our server was well versed on all offerings, from wine, cocktails and special appetizers to seasonal soft shell crab, swordfish and desserts.

We're a repeat customer and we've always had a fantastic meal and service!
