Morgan's Tavern at the Middlebury Inn

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving day brunch here at the Morgan Tavern’s Thanksgiving day buffet. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is great. The service is great as well. There wasn’t a huge selection for food, but it was all very very fresh and all very very delicious. The only thing I would change next time is I would probably take an earlier seating; we took a 2 o’clock seating, and even though the food is very good, the atmosphere had started to thin out by then, and I think they started running out of certain foods. Nonetheless, it was a great experience and would go again.

We had a superb lunch on a very wet December day. Great vibe, awesome service, and excellent food. Really good value too! I only live about 30 minutes away and I’m embarrassed it’s taken me 27 years to finally eat here. I’ll be back!

Great meal at Morgan’s Tavern! We saw the Very positive TripAdvisor reviews and were very happy with both the service and the meals. Almost all menu items are locally sourced and the Sunrise Burger with onion rings was delicious. Cooked perfectly with a great crust and flavor. Definitely worth the time to find and enjoy a meal. My wife had a turkey reuben with freshly made sweet potato fries and that was also great. The fries has the perfect mix of crunch and softness to let the sweet potato flavor come through.

The food is amazing and the staff are great too. Never disappointed.

We had a wonderful short notice overnight at the Middlebury Inn taking dinner and breakfast in the Tavern. Both were excellent.

There was a delay in a part of one meal, but our waitress kept us informed and monitored the progress of our meal.

We would stay and dine there again.

Four of us ate there recently, with three of us having the burger special. The local beef was excellent and perfectly cooked. The music was a bit loud for us to start, but it was lowered upon request. The building itself is gorgeous. Walk about and enjoy the fine workmanship. Definitely will go there again.

The Chicken Statler entre was absolutely phenomenal, I ate every bite. There was wonderful jazz music which was excellent to listen to in addition to adding to the overall ambiance. The wait staff were lovely and all the food from the dinner rolls to the sweet potatoes was fabulous.

We moved our 1st year son into the college this past weekend and were fortunate enough to have not just one but two fabulous experiences at Morgan’s Tavern. Our bartender Nick took wonderful care of us on Sun evening and based on his recommendation, we came back for a delicious lunch on Monday. Kudos to Nick, Chef Eric and entire staff at Morgan’s Tavern. At a time when those in the food service industry are challenged in so many ways, their attention to detail, graciousness and wonderful service are especially appreciated.

The food was great. Service was great. The food presentation was perfect. All 4 dishes were made with great care. That would be my go to place if I lived there.

This restaurant is part of the Farm Fresh Network, and serves delicious meals made from fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. It's part of and serves the Middlebury Inn. The decor is grand, and has a lovely 1800's feel.

Our expectations were not great. Having said that, they were far exceeded. The reuben and chicken sandwich were *excellent* as were the sides. Highly recommended.

Just WOW!!! No matter what you order it is going to taste like your eating at a 5 star resturaunt. the food is soo good, and i highly recomend the cheddar ale soup!!!!

Delicious food and amazing service! One of the best atmospheres for any occasion. The Inn is beautiful and the food is amazing. We'll be back in December for our wedding!

I got there from New Haven ct ,The parking lot was full and I ask the staff for help, she come out and help me out with private parking thanks
