Dr. Armand N. Desanctis Jr, MD

Dr. DeSanctis goes above and beyond to fit patients in when you need a same day visit. He has followed up personally with emergent issues after hours to make sure his patients are okay. He doesn’t rush through office visits and makes sure you feel heard. Not many doctors left like him. A+

Very professional. I feel well taken care of. It's nice to go to a small practice and get to see a physician instead of an NP. I get appointments on the same day. He's has been clinically excellent and careful.

Worst office staff EVER! Ignorant, condescending, without a shred of concern for the patient. I asked Ashley (the check in clerk) to have the office manager call me and 2 days and 2 more messages later still no call back. This is an office looking for Level 5 billable OV's and meeting MIPS/MACRA so they can continue to accept Medicare. Steer clear, plenty of other providers with more compassion and a staff with significantly less attitude.

For PCP's I had great experience initially with Dr Centrella back in the 70's. He retired and my file was taken by another great PCP at the same practice. He then moved with my file to the Pike creek office where Dr Desanctis took over my file after the prior PCP retired. He was different than the others, and less knowledgeable. I had a trivial disagreement with a front office worker, based on a comment she made to me. I was then immediately dismissed as a patient by Dr D, with no time to find another Dr. When I asked for a copy of my now huge file with all the summaries of test results from him and many other doctors (I am disabled with chronic pain from RSD), I only received a copy of only his unreadable notes, about 30 pages, ... the bare minimum legally required. The rest was trashed.
