El Cantarito Mexican Restaurant

You can’t go wrong with this restaurant if your looking for good authentic Mexican food. They make their foods from scratch very healthy and rich in nutrients Customer service is outstanding it get very busy during lunch time but your food still gets on the table on time. I am definitely going back and I highly recommend it.

To all you Mexican Food Lovers like us…this place was THY Best, Fresh Mexican Meal we have had in a long time. The service and the price was on target but most importantly, they served fresh Horchata!!! We looked for others in the area but none listed or just didn’t have it so two thumbs up to this comfy place full of wonderful dishes.

10/10 recommend! If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food in the New Castle area this is the spot to go to. Small, but beautifully decorated restaurant with lovely service. The food was served quickly, and it tasted amazing. Highly recommend the fresh coffee or Mexican Atole. Parking is located in the rear of the building, and handicapped spots in front. Don’t be discouraged by the stairs, their is a handicap accessible elevator! Overall wonderful experience at El Cantaro.

Absolutely love this place. My favorite Mexican spot in the area. Love the carne asada and the steak enchiladas. They have the best complimentary nacho and dipping sauces, the green sauce is my favorite. Staff is always friendly.

Why did it take so long to find this gem. Very good food so far. I have been here three times in the last 2 weeks. Very nice portions too !! The flavored waters are good too. Prices not bad.

Don't judge a book by it's cover this time. Because this place isn't the biggest restaurant on the street but it sure might be the best, the food was amazing. And the juice was to die for. The melon juice in particular was great because it actually tasted like real watermelon juice, non of that stuff that you get from the store.

Woah! I live in Texas now where Mexican food is done really well… but we don’t have anything that compares to this! This restaurant does not compromise on anything… fresh everything. Order the green Chile enchiladas. Unbelievable! Can’t wait to go back.

The place is wonderful. Happy cooks make great food. First of all, they made us feel so welcome. They were about to close, but they were kind as we travelled far and were so hungry, for that reason, they now have a loyal customer. They just don't know it yet. Food was excellent. Price is just right. Very clean and organized. We thoroughly enjoyed.

Fantastic food!!! Workers are wonderful &+ nice. Relaxing and clean as well. I have no problems recommending this to anyone who loves real Mexican food!!

My bestie and I had the Shredded chicken tacos w/queso fresco! I enjoyed every single bite.... literally. Truly an authentic Mexican restaurant with the tacos being made from scratch. Sweet and friendly family business.

Stopped in for lunch while passing through town. Great service, excellent food. Menu in English and Spanish. Could tell by the crowd that it's a local favorite. Highly recommend!

Excellent authentic Mexican food, without the high calorie sloppy cheese sauce that so many places slather on. Fast and friendly service as well. Now my go to place when I get that urge for Mexican cuisine.
