Atlantic Community Thrift Shop

This place is a local treasure. I have found so many things for myself and my home. The volunteers (yes, they do not get paid) spend countless hours going through donations; sorting, storing, and keeping the store well stocked. I love shopping here.

hours are annoyingly inconvenient since i work m-f but it will be my new favorite saturday morning place place

This is truly my new favorite thrift store, and I've shopped in 2nd hand stores from Arizona to Pennsylvania. Many thrift store prices are higher than new items at stores like Gabes or Kaufmans, but the ACTS outlet offers goods at prices that are reasonable and affordable. It's a cash-only store, so make sure you wallet is up for the green challenge ahead of time.

This place is run very well. If you have a lot of vitamins that you’re donating, they even assist you at times getting it out of your car.
However, take note, they no longer take linens of any kind. To include blankets, sheets, clothing, anything that is a material item. They did tell me that the blankets were from floor to ceiling in there.

Incredible deals! We knew it was the real deal when we pulled up to see a line, circling the building, of people waiting for the store to open.

The people complaining about ACTS clear do not realize they are all volunteering to help the community. It is a completely charitable thrift store that offers an invaluable service to the community and great deals for those who enjoy shopping there. I have gone there for the past 10+ years and have NEVER had an issue with any staff being rude; everyone has been so helpful and friendly. The people that are complaining are probably the same people who mob the place and make it a bad experience (which still won't stop me from coming because I have gotten so many great deals). Stop complaining about the volunteer, unpaid workers (who put up with all the nasty people coming there to shop) and find somewhere else to bargain hunt, more deals for me!

Wonderful caring volunteer ladies, we love them! Yes, the store has rules, what place of business doesn't? We go just to chat with the volunteers some days, very kind , personable people. Acts helps out 29 local charities. They are the first to know about families in the community who need help and supply that help.

I drive from bridgeville to acts all the time, the store is wonderful and the staff are so kind and caring they do a lot of good things for the community, please donate all your things to them because they give back, goodwill doesn't they give out big raises to there staff

I am a frequent shopper of ACTS thrift store and love the bargains I find there. The "mean ladies" , (who are all volunteering their time for charity) , are faced with keeping order in the mob scene they see everyday. I for one appreciate their efforts in making the shopping experience better for those of us who are courteous to others and follow the rules.

This is an incredible operation that is allowed to exist solely because of the dedication of volunteers. The quality of the goods that are offered for sale is excellent. All proceeds from sales goes directly to the community to provide services such as Meals on Wheels, home heating oil, etc..

This is my favorite thrift store in the area. The prices are unbeatable. Shirts are only fifty cents to a dollar. Pants, jeans and slacks are only a dollar. A lot of glass ware is a quarter. Shoes are a dollar a pair, unless they are new then they are only two dollars. Men's sport jackets are only three dollars. Their prices on furniture historically has been very reasonable, but prices have been going up lately. Most of the people also seem to be friendly and helpful. As I said earlier, in my opinion, it's the best thrift store in the area.

im obsessed with this place, everyone in there is SO nice and it is such a calm and fun atmosphere. Music is always playing and all of their clothes and other things are so fairly priced! :) 10/10 recommend!

Incredibly busy thrift store because of great prices and great finds with a fast changing inventory. Run solely by volunteers, all proceeds are donated to the community. Definitely a blessing to the area. Thankful to all the volunteers who give of their time to make this a success.

I buy books there all the time. As for the employees being rude when I'm there I always smile and say hi also when I check out and my tab is 7 bucks I usually give them a 10 and tell them to keep the change they are usually nice now that they know me.

Everyone was super nice today. Good prices on alot of stuff. Nice guy that work there carried some thing to my for me.
