I have to say that Chrissy, the nurse supervisor is the BEST!!!! She is so caring, supportive, and understanding!! She deserves a RAISE!!!! A BIG ONE!!! She is smart, beautiful, respectful, and I saw her treat her employee's with the most respectful, dignified way. She is always smiling, and handling many emergencies, and does it with a smile! She is sooi sweet, professional, and I hope Option Care knows what a gem they have for a manager in the Newark office!! Every employee I had contact with just loves her, and she is a mother of 2 young boys on top of it all. She is the BEST!!! Thank you option care for having nurse Chrissy as the manager to spread her sweet, smart, understanding, but she demands and expects the best from her staff. She is a true leader!!!! Perfect balance of empathy, understanding, expectations, and professionalism!! Your lucky to have her!!

I can not say enough great things about this company!!!! I switched from a different agency and Jillian did all the behind the scenes work to transfer my care seemlessly. The pharmacy was able to provide all of my supplies and deliver same day, including a request for a change which they handled no problem (and made my life much simpler!). Maureen talked me through my supply delivery and equipment set up. She coordinated nursing visits and even came herself to make sure the lab timings were done precisely on time. Dottie, RN was so caring, professional, and just all around great person. She completed the weekly labs and line with great attention to good hygiene and made me feel at ease that everything was being properly managed. The entire staff were so amazing and stayed on top of every detail of my care, collaborating with doctors and making sure every detail was attended to. I truly felt like this is how they would treat a family member, not just a random patient on a list. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

The people that work here in the building and do the treatments are great. The rest of it was just odd from the start it took them a month to get the patient set up with an appointment. All the info was wrong insurance wise etc. Second the patient room is not only small but not private we got to listen to another man's complete medical history and there is a see through half wall in the middle of the two patients. Not enough room for someone to come in with the patient when the experience was 2.5 hrs and then repeated visits.
They show a photo online of a nice room with wood floors, a plush chair, large TV etc. not at this location it just like walking into an office cubicle set up and being put in the corner for medical work. While everyone walks around. It was not at all what the video online portrayed. There is no waiting room. The second visit they told the guest there was not enough room for them and made them wait in the car for the hour visit. Again this should be mentioned in advance as lots of people don’t want or can’t do these things alone.

Nurses are wonderful that come out to your home. It's the people over the phone who a fr e rude and the hassle of making sure you have medicine all the time and a nurse that comes to your house. Sharon is EXTREMELY RUDE she works in the delivery stocking part

I would give one star but have to give a bonus star because of pharmacist. They consistently bill me and my insurance company incorrectly. They never return phone calls. Back and forth has been going on for 7 months now.

Nurses are great, but no one answers the phones at the office and scheduling an appointment is a nightmare

My home nurse Ann Marie is great. Actually cares and takes time. The supply delivery process and the endless phone calls from the office is annoying. Why do I have to verify weekly that I need flushes and hepron? Why send the TPN if you aren't sending the needed supplies that are used daily. Why should have to spend all this time asking for supplies I don't need anything extra just whats needed to actually do my treatment. I have requested that flushes are sent weekly but unless they actually talk to me they just don't send it's annoying and wouldn't recommend this company just due to this reason.

2/21/2024 UPDATE still dealing with this horrible company. I was told when my TPN was completed by my home nurse that it would be arranged to pick up my pump fast forward 4 months they finally called for it and expect once again you to be available to speak on the phone at all times. They could text which they have they could email which they have my email but no, they have to blow your phone up when you can answer then they call your contact on your account which is currently going through chemo and bother them. This company needs a better form of communication and respect when someone doesn't pick up they can't talk. Do better as you're dealing with sick people that can't always just be on the phone talking. Horrible customer service!!!!!

This company tried to charge me $450 for my the first nurse visit and $250 for every visit after that. They tried to tell me it was bc I hadn’t met my deductible. I asked them to double check that bc the info they were giving about my plan was wrong, Jillian refused. I confirmed with my insurance company and I have no deductible and no more than a $20 copay per visit. I’d be very careful using this company and verify their charges with your insurance company.

UPDATE: I contacted Option Care as requested in their response below and THEY NEVER RESPONDED. It’s obvious from their shady business practices and their responses here, DISHONESTY AND DECEPTION seem to be a part of the company culture.

FYI Option Care marketing person/ Branch Manager: A huge part of reputation management is ACTUALLY following up and attempting to resolve your “mistakes”, not just trying to make it appear that way to the public. Please let me know if you need a crash course in Rep Management, I do marketing for a living and I’d be happy to help! And don’t worry, I won’t try to overcharge you by 20+% like you did to me. But I will need payment up front! 😉

I used this company for 3 years for both in-home infusions and at the infusion center.

I am struggling to remember a single infusion where something didn't go wrong. They would give me a 4 hour delivery window for my meds, and then a 3 hour window for the nurse to be there.

My infusion was usually supposed to take 30 minutes, so to be waiting around the house for seven hours for deliveries was not ideal. The deliveries were constantly late or showing up unannounced on the wrong day. It was a disaster.

Once I started going to the infusion center, the problems continued. I would make an appointment for my infusion, only to be told when I got there that they had me down for a different day and time. This happened on at least four or five occasions, although to be fair- they were able to accommodate me on those visits.

Some of the nurses here know what they're doing and some don't. One nurse messed up setting the IV so bad that my hand was still sore 8 weeks later at my next infusion.

The staff here is very friendly. No one was ever rude to me or anything like that, but that doesn't make up for being incompetent. Being ill is enough stress on it's own. I don't need additional problems caused by a healthcare provider, which could be easily avoided with basic fundamental note taking and calendar use.

An option care representative told me that I would not have a copay. However, after being released from the hospital and my antibiotics arrived at home, and I started using them…. I found out I had been lied to, a $2,000 bill arrived in the mail.

Had I been told the truth I would have gone with one of the other companies that were introduced to me in the hospital.

Option care is deceptive and should be avoided.

The worst company. They overcharge for supplies. All they do is lie on the phone. Do not trust what they say. I will NEVER do business with them again.
