ShopRite of Newark, DE

Employees are nice and i was in a rush because i keep forgetting items that i needed but they helped me quickly and efficiently. And when i came back to get the rest of the items i forgot they helped me find the items i needed and helped me immediately. I was glad there were more lanes open so i could get out quicker while i was cooking at home. They're the real superheroes.

Came here a couple times staff is nice and friendly the store is always clean they always have everything u need in stock great place the come shop for everything u need

Been coming to this shoprite for a few months since I’ve moved closer. It has a really friendly staff, and just about anything I could need for my home. No complaints here from me.

People checking your receipt are just doing their jobs. If your not stealing then don’t worry about the few extra seconds (literally a few seconds) it takes to look at my receipt, and we’re both happy. So why cause yourself, and many others to be held up, or judge a business based on something so petty?

Very good super market but this week i went there and it was very windy the carts were left on the parking lot and the wind was blowing the carts. They were hitting the cars that were parked. I talked tô the staff all they sais was, sombody should be out there taking care of it. Definatly not going there when its windy

This is my favorite Shoprite! They consistently have the products I need as well as great coupons or just better prices in general compared to competitors like Acme. I’ve grown up in this Shoprite and have seen numerous changes they’ve made to improve our shopping experience, renovate their image, and to combat issues like theft and shortages. The people here work hard and stay friendly even when they’re berated for things out of their control. When mistakes and problems arise, their customer service team (especially Louis!) always does their best to solve issues, explain policies/procedures thoroughly, and overall provide excellent service. The people here truly deserve more respect, recognition, and compensation for what they do.

It was okay first time I've been there me and wifey came up here to see the grandkids had to buy something to eat and we decided to go ShopRite. It was clean and the workers was very helpful.

Customer service at the seafood counter was excellent! The young man was multi tasking well. Very polite and acknowledged I was ready to order. He changed his gloves and wrap my purchase perfectly. I typically hate shopping this location be ause of so many complications at checkout, but this young man gives hope that with a few good people this place may actually turn around.

I love this store, because it's closer in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful at all times. The products are never out of stock. The meats and vegetables are always fresh. This Shoprite still follows the mask mandate, so it's never overly crowded. I wish this Shoprite update it's store entirely, but other than it being a bit of old school, much love.

Wasn't too busy, store was clean and for the most part we'll organized. Yoplait yogurt was on sale - went up and down isle couldn't find ANY! Also, couldn't find my favorite ice cream, Turkey Hill Mint chocolate chip. :/
Overall shopping experience was good.

I grew up with this ShopRite and love it. They always have everything you need. Everything is always fresh. I was looking for pizza shells and found a new less expensive brand in the store bakery department. This smaller store is also easier to get around and find everything you need quickly. I always get though checkout faster in this store when I'm ready to leave. Store has more of a neighborhod feeling.

Very well stocked! I can't find cat food anywhere else and they had plenty of it so I was very happy about that and the self-checkout was awesome and the computer didn't get stuck so that was great

I absolutely love this store! They are always well stocked, clean and friendly. Even through this pandemic, though some things were limited, they did their best to keep up with the demand. It's one stop shopping as far as groceries for me!

Although they charge for grocery bags, ShopRite continues to be my go to supermarket. They always have what I want but more importantly, they always have what I need.. Unfortunately I came back today, Sept 16th 2022. The bathroom was disgusting at 8am.

Nice, clean store. Great deli, and awesome seafood departmental, huge selection of fresh meats...nice produce section...
They have some really good sales, so make sure you check out the weekly sale flyers by the doors..best time to shop is the middle of the day on like Tuesday or Wednesday.
Saturday and Sunday are a nightmare!
More parking would be great!

Excellent experience this Sunday morning. The Four Seasons 896 Shoprite store was clean and the shelves were well-stocked with everything that we needed and more. At the fresh seafood counter we were greeted with a smile and good customer service.
But the outstanding excellent experience review goes to Margaret the cashier who greeted us with a smile and as she begged each item she identified them as fragile, heavy and even explain that she double-bag them because of their weight. She engaged a conversation with us asking us how was our early morning going and when we told her great so far and she even stated that was good and it's going to get even better. I didn't realize that she was talkin about just an experience with her which did make our day better.
We understand that in the busyness of a day that so much attention can be paid to every customer but we benefited of having Margaret as our cashier today at ShopRite. Thank you Margaret for a great customer experience.

Very very very busy ShopRite location always very crowded the lines are always long I only went here to buy one item and actually I had to leave but the people that work there are really nice very department is always so organized meet the department as well in Delhi grocery aisles are always fully stocked it's just the lines when you're checking out it's always so congested otherwise I give it an 8 out of 10

Compact and complete! This is a supermarket about 75% the size of the newer supermarkets. It's packed with everything even though is size could have been an issue. Staff are friendly and helpful. The store is clean and we'll lit. In the same strip mall, there is a Rite Aid, a liquor store, and a Middle Eastern restaurant plus more.

I've grown up coming to this store and I know I'll always come here. The staff are awesome, the deli and produce section are always clear. The bakery is always clean and neatly displayed. I've never had a bad experience.

I love this place. From the Bakery, the Deli, and Produce, to the Cashiers and Front End (that's what the position was called when I worked at Safeway), everyone is genuine and helpful. I know the electronics aren't the fastest, I go for the savings, convenience, and the Presence.

I love shop rite. there home made sausage is great. they always have what I need. I miss it. I am about an hour and a half away. so when I 'm there I try to stock up. if anyone goes , they won't be sorry. I'm more then sure. enjoy.
