Grotto Pizza

Stopped by for 1st time. Best first time pizza spot I ever made. Personal pizza was scrumptious, wings on point, and salad was what a salad is supposed to be. The wings flavor is unique. Service good prices ok , atmosphere good another sports and game watching resturant. Will be back again and again . and did I say again ? Yrs again.....

I had been out of the area for 18 years and forgot how much I liked their pizza. The plain cheese pizza is still my favorite. The service was great as well. They handled a large group with ease and efficiency.

Far as my family's concerned, this is -the- only pizza there is. The rest are just imitators. "Boardwalk" style with a very thin crust, just slightly sweet sauce and cheddar cheese. 90 minutes away, so there are always par-baked frozen pizza in our freezer.

I can't thank the staff at Grotto's enough, especially Sabrina! We had a very large party of 30 people who were in town for my fathers funeral. We had not thought about making a reservation. Grotto's was able to accomodate the entire party and everyone left happy!! Thank you Grotto's and thank you Sabrina!

Really love the pizza here. Was just stopping in, so we used the left side entrance to the take out. You can get slices to eat there and pizzas to go. Was pleased to find out they would par bake my order to take back to Philly and reheat! Very nice.

Peppers used on pizza are lightly pickled, sort of like what you would put on a hoagie. I was surprised by this but it was actually very good with sausage. Would.definitely come back the next time I'm in the area.

Pizza was great. Some Grottos seem to have fallen a bit on quality. Not this one!

The girl who took our takeout order was very nice. As usual, the pizza was excellent! Her name was Diana.

It was decent. There are never enough anchovies though. Some of us actually love them but I think places are afraid to put too many on. Otherwise, a great visit.

Our order was ready less than 15 minutes. We ordered The Backer’s Choice Pizza to go. It was really delicious 😋 we are highly satisfied.

Mike the bartender is a good dude! Professional, attentive, just an all around nice guy.

Grotto's is our favorite pizza place in DE. We were so excited when we visited last to find they were open for inside dining.

Ran in for a quick bite after a movie so I got a couple of plain cheese slices. The server was very attentive and the menu looked to have good varieties of pizza, salads, and calzones. I think I'll try the spinach one next time.

Grotto's pizza tastes different from any other pizza place. To me and my family, it's better than all other places. We love their subs, too, always fresh on fantastic rolls.We stop at this location on our way home from Rehoboth Beach to take home a fresh pizza and subs, even though we eat it while at the beach. Awesome in every way!

Again....the food and the service was Great.
If you love Pizza, You have to eat at Grotto!!!

The pizza was so good. We did not even want to get a pizza. We wanted to try other stuff on The menu. But insww lots of ppl getting pizza. So we got that instead, this was my 1st time at this restaurant.
The pizza was way better then all the pizza's Out there. Even better then season's & i like season's pizza
Grotto pizza is now my go to for pizza.
The place is very cozy they have tv mostly everywhere so u can watch a game. They have a bar with big TVs.
The staff is wonderful the place was busy when we come to the restaurant.
They have booth's & tables.
Even the manager came out to the fllor & help his team & talked to his guest.
So yes Grotto hands down 1 of the great restaurants we been too.
Only down side they don't gave garlic butter for the pizza. But the pizza was still go without it..
We for sure will be bk.

My son loves getting a large extra cheese pizza from there was about $17 for one pizza. and my mother I have fallen in love with their Bakers' Choice with anchovies (of you choose so) we love them and it enhances the taste of the pizza.

Ordered pizza yesterday. Have to say it was fantastic. I've not had pizza from Grotto's before that was this good. Definitely will be swinging in again soon, because we were very impressed.

Keep it up Grotto's!!!

Best pizza on earth. A must-have when traveling through Delaware.
