Found this spot black owned and the customer service makes you feel at home. Waiter was very nice the cook omg she is amazing.

This spot is nestled right on a corner off of M.L.K….you can’t miss it!! I’ve seen it many times in passing, so it was just time for me to stop in!! Ice cream, all day breakfast, & more!! Let’s GO!!

Their Fried Fish Sandwich (with 3 large pieces of Whiting $7). STAMP!! Drizzled with hot sauce, HOT, crispy corn meal fried…WINNING!!

Their Wings & Fries (7 wingettes, with fries, & their Corner Café sauce $6.30). The chicken, fries…DELICIOUS!! The Corner Café sauce had a hint of Old Bay with a tip of sweetness…STAMP!!

Their Steak n Cheese (with green & red peppers, onions, tomatoes, American, & provolone cheese, & mayo $10). LIKE THAT!! Meaty, flavorful, stuffed, & surprisingly tasty!!

Their French Toast (with strawberry drizzle, & confectionery sugar $5). STAMP!! No syrup needed, well cooked, crisp, & fluffy!!

Their Banana Pudding Sundae (2 scoops of banana pudding ice cream, with fudge drizzle, whip cream, & chocolate sprinkles $5.15). STAMP!!

Beware of eating at this cafe…their food was so good it put us into a 4 hour food coma. We ordered the French toast platter with a side of bacon while my family ordered a side of eggs. Too good!

Kind people, excellent customer service. Best breakfast sandwich I've had since childhood. The jerk chicken is sooooooo good.

I really don't know how long this place has been open but they gave me great service. The fish sandwich that I had was one of the best I've had in a long time.

The nicest people ever. I am still in the car n just left. Could not wait to review. The best chicken n waffles my daughter has had. I basically inhaled my bacon n egg sandwich. The chef was very friendly n the cashier was super sweet. Their location is saved in my favorites. I'm definitely coming here again if I come back to D.C..

This was THE BEST chicken and waffles I HAVE EVER HAD! Brought four women in who could not pick what they wanted for brunch and all FOUR of us found something we enjoyed. Cheese grits were impeccable, the cashier was sweet, the chef was funny. Don't miss out on this little joint!!!

I’ve always wanted to try this place but they advertise that they close at 8 but in actuality close at 5 . That’s bad business and false advertising

Don’t go to this place I paid $5 for 2 pieces of old bacon I will never go there again!!!

I won't be going back. the promo pic didn't match the food I received they didn't even offer me tarter with my fish.,

This place must be close permanently. I came here twice and they were close when on the website it says they are open for business.
