I rented with Harrison Properties for six years at two different apartments before buying a home this year, and my experience was great. Maintenance requests were always responded to quickly and repairs were always completed promptly. The office staff are kind and responsive. Bob and Jan Harrison are good people who run a respectable business. Thanks to Harrison Properties for the happy years I spent renting from them!

I rented from Bob and Jan at Harrison Properties from November 2021-December 2022 and it was easily the best renting experience I had during my time in Delaware. They were flexible with my move in/move out dates, I never had to wait long for maintenance requests (not that much was needed), and the apartment itself was just beautiful. I would recommend them to anybody who's looking for a respectful and just management company in the area. I have been renting from Harrison properties for about 3 years now and they have always been easy to work with and communicative. If I have an issue in the apartment it always gets resolved in a timely manner. The building is over a hundred years old and comes with it's quirks and the door knob to my front door was faulty on and off for a while after two years of living there before I reached out to them to have it fixed. I was unable to get into my apartment after returning from a trip on a Sunday night at 6pm when they are closed and called Bob directly and he had someone out there in less than ten minutes to get me into my apartment and fix the door knob. They saved the day after a stressful trip home.

I used Harrison Properties to manage my rental property in Wilmington for many years, and again used them as the agent to sell my property. Jan and Bob Harrison and the other folks at Harrison Properties have been a pleasure to work with. My property was in great hands during their management. They responded quickly to my renters and to me regarding repairs and other issues that arose with my property. When I decided to sell, Bob worked rapidly to complete repairs on the property and get the house listed for sale. I had two offers within days, and my house closed and sold last week. I had the best experience renting from Harrison Properties for 18 months. Any issues I had were resolved the same day I escalated them. The apartment was very thoroughly cleaned before I began my residence there. I received my entire security deposit back within a week of moving out. Upon my request, they removed the carpet so I could have hardwood floors (given, the carpet was reasonably old). Everyone at Harrison--particularly Scott, Jan, Joan, and Rob--is a consummate professional dedicated to your experience as a tenant. After hearing I was terminating my lease, Rob facilitated the process of finding me and my girlfriend a new apartment, connecting us with the owner and showing us the property (upon owner's approval), despite it not even belonging to Harrison. Coming from out of state to pursue a career in Delaware, Harrison Properties made my transition into and out of their renting business extremely smooth. I'd recommend this company to absolutely anyone.

As an owner/lessor in the Trolley Square area I highly recommend Harrison Properties. I have used Harrison Properties for 10 years to lease our rowhouse. All experiences have been spot on. They quickly, each time within a week, found high caliber tenants that have been appropriately screened. The entire staff extremely responsive and helpful. They have helped me evaluate any needs of the property (carpet, painting, etc.) as well as provide list of resources to assist, they coordinate the leasing process seamlessly, and recommend market pricing. A year later and here I am updating my previous 5 star review with another one. Harrison Properties is a wonderfully dynamic company and they excel in every facet of their business.
Our relationship started in 2018 when I rented one of the properties they manage. A special shout out to Jan who helped me navigate the paperwork that went along with this persnickety condo association.
Now as I prepare to close on a home that they helped me secure with information only years in the game can get you I'm deeply grateful for that first meeting.

I used Harrison as a property manager for my home for 7 years then most recently to sell it. My property was under contract within four days, and the entire sale went smoothly. Having seasoned Realtors makes all the difference. Jan and Bob Harrison gave me sound advice on everything from the right listing price to repairs. Whenever a potential issue came up, they always had advice on how to best tackle it. They are well known and respected in the field, and the relationships they have built with everyone from contractors to the buyer's Realtor to the buyer's legal team served me well during the sale. I also was selling the property while living an hour away, which could have been a headache if it wasn't for their assistance, whether it was to make sure the AC was at the right temperature before a showing or pulling the water meter reading for me before settlement. I am so grateful I had Jan and Bob on my side and would highly recommend them for property management or for buying or selling a home.
