Mayuri Indian Cuisine

This Mayuri is a place which holds up so many memories for me. As a kid, I remember coming here and being fascinated with the tree outside, and loving the food as well. Unfortunately, this place is closing permanently after tonight, so I won’t get to make or relive any memories, but it was nice while it lasted. Today, I ordered the same thing I ordered my first time here all those years ago and the food was wonderful. My dosa was huge, the sambar was flavorful, and I had a great time chatting with the friendly servers and owner. It’s sad to see this place go, but at least there is the bakery a few blocks away.

This review is for our experience with Mayuri catering. Mayuri catered for our wedding and reception. We are so so glad that we worked with them for our food experience. We worked with Mahidhar who was very prompt in getting back to us via email and had a phone call to understand our needs. He set up a tasting for us and also helped us narrow down our menu. Most importantly, we wanted a catering company that would deliver, set up, provide chafing dishes, refill food as needed and clean up--Mahidhar worked with us to create a package that included service staff for our wedding who would work alongside our wedding planner and their staff. Leading up to the wedding, he helped us label which foods are vegan, had allergens etc.

We also wanted our guests to have the experience of having a Thali style wedding lunch and he worked with us to provide rentals for 150+ Thali plates which after doing our own research for a long time, I realize is a huge feat. Mahidhar also toured our wedding venue and worked with the venue manager to figure out all the important details ahead of time.

On the day of the wedding, Mayuri and their staff delivered 110%. After the ceremony, we walked in and the food was already set up, drinks set up, each with its own labels, steel Thali plates set up as we discussed. Everyone LOVED the food and it was authentic South Indian wedding food that we envisioned. After the wedding lunch, everything was cleaned up and the buffet set up tables were turned over for evening reception dinner. We also had an outdoor cocktail hour and all the appetizers were amazing and set up perfectly. Reception dinner was North Indian/Indochinese and again, the food was amazing!! At the end of the night, takeout boxes were available for the guests and for us to take food home. The venue kitchen and the buffet setup was cleaned up to venue's standards as well.

We are very impressed and would definitely recommend Mayuri for catering services. Many venues in the Seattle area don't have Indian catering and don't offer service staff if not catering through them. Mayuri made our wedding day stress free and delivered on everything we discussed!

This has been our family’s go to restaurant for 10+ years. We have tried basically every Indian restaurant in the area and Mayuri seems to be the most consistent in terms of quality. They have a good variety of items. Narendra is the best employee, he treats us like family every time we come in - makes us laugh and makes sure we have a great experiences. Would recommend this spot to friends and family.

This is my go to Indian restaurant in the area. My sister showed it to me years ago and I’ve never looked back. The staff are amazing and the food is always good and high quality. For as long as I’ve been going I haven’t had one issue. I order takeout there often too and it’s always good!

Good location with ample parking available. The inside decor looks elegant, and the space clean and open. The buffet has good mix of North and South Indian dishes, with the dum biryani being the most spicy affair. The spice level might seem a bit muted at least in the buffet though. The dinner menu can be customized as required. The restaurant also features a full bar so can enjoy a drink with dinner too!

This restaurant is in this area for more than a decade, ambiance is good. Quick service, spicy food, if you want to try Andra food go here. Dum briyani is much better than chicken 65 briyani. Peanut masala is good, spicy and tangy, quite refreshing. Dosa is good, but chutney is cold and dint like it that much. Andra chicken curry is bomb. Make sure you drink lot of yogurt or go to an icecream store after this place. Quite clean. Friendly staff is a plus.

Best Chicken Tikka Kabob I’ve ever had. We live in TX and travel to Seattle area often. Always a pleasure to come here ..staff also very courteous as well..what a great combination with the incredible food. Wish I could give them 10 stars.

One of the finest dum biryanis in the area.. i have been to this restaurant for more than 25 times in the past 6 months.. great service and friendly staff

Every time I visit Bellevue, I ask my sis and bro in law to take me here. The only thing better than their service is their food. The lollipop chicken? Out of this world good. The naan? Best I’ve ever had. And the same goes for the rest of the food. But the thing I like most though is how kind and welcoming the staff and owner are when we come in—they treat us like family. Thank you Mayuri, I can’t wait for my next visit!

Let me just start by saying this place deserves more stars then it has. I love this place! I just moved to WA not too long ago and this place has quickly become one of my top favorite personally for my husband and I, we go here at least twice a month if not more. Butter chicken, lamb tiki masala, masala dosa , garlic naan, everything is phenomenal. I really appreciate that every time we go, the taste is always consistent which is difficult to do. We also love going because the staff is very polite and friendly greeting you with a smile always. Narendra seems very passionate about providing a good experience for his customers, along with keeping afloat the restaurant :)

The food was really delicious- especially South Indian food. We ordered one North Indian lunch special and that was okay. But the Poori Potato Curry, Uthapam and Masala Dosa were really really good. Would prefer to have South Indian from here. Dont forget to order Madras Coffee - it’s pretty good too.

I’ve been a regular here for at least 5 years and can say with confidence it is the best food in town! Staff is so nice and helpful, food is always amazing and atmosphere is welcoming, warm and cozy. I highly recommend trying the veggie samosas, saag paner, lollipop chicken and garlic naan for starters! Everything is so good though, I’ve truly never had a dish I didn’t like.

Top 1 and best place to try Onion Rava Masala Dosa and Badam milk it's highly recommended.

One thing we should all understand every Restaurant got more number of cooks to make lots of variety of dishes so not all Foods cannot be tastier it's not possible in this entire world so find out the best one and have it that's the Manthra

Mayuri is our go to every week. The food is consistently delicious, high quality and freshly prepared. The Staff is so pleasant and friendly with us and our little one. The atmosphere is also very homely, clean and pleasant. 5 stars!

Mayuri is one of our favorite Indian restaurants. The food is so so yummy each time. The taste is consistent. We've their weekend buffet as well as menu items. The staff and atmosphere are so pleant that it is a perfect experience each time.
We love their chicken 555, appolo fish, tandoori paratha, biriyanis and coffee. Keep it up.

Mayuri Indian is our go to spot for Indian food. What keeps us coming back is the consistently exceptional quality of the food. We love their paneer tikka, dosais, naan and curries. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good Indian food in the area

This has been our go to Indian restaurant in the bellevue/redmond area. Love the staff who are always funny and courteous. The food is fantastic. We love the Paneer tikka and Dosas. The ginger chutney is absolutely mind blowing.

13 bucks for a lunch special including like three curry dishes, rice, naan, dessert, and soup. The food is pretty good and for the price it's hard to do much better in king county

Thank you for the hospitality. We loved the fish dish and dosa. We had a group of 21, including kids. They tried to accommodate us as best as possible.

Amazing place ! Great ambiance and food was really really good . Have seen other restaurants in and around but no one matches Mayuri at Bed Red rd . Great service by the team and Manager was great in receiving customers !

Must place for Indians and others who wants to taste Authentic Indian Food.
