Close to our MagiKid Robotics Lab, good option for parents to shopping when waiting kids from our classes. The food bar is also good, as well as the Starbucks store in the Safeway.

Very good experience shopping at Safeway for groceries, Birthday cakes and bakery products. Kids love their custom cakes. They have wide variety of fruits at reasonable costs. Our go to spot mainly for cakes and bakery productst

We chose to have a custom-made mermaid-themed cake for my daughter, and we were absolutely thrilled with the cake and its decorations. Ruth, the cake artist, baker, and decorator, is truly remarkable in her craft. We have immense admiration for her work and are truly delighted with the outcome.

I had LOTS of groceries and I noticed that the lady sacking my groceries, the person who helps the cashier, was limping when she came up to help. After I paid I ended up with 2 carts. They asked if I wanted help out and I said no because the clerks knee was obviously hurting. I said I would take 1 cart and come back in for the other. When asked why I explained and the clerk said she was there to work and she could handle it. It was almost her quitting time she joked. I relented and she was so nice toughing it out like that. I'm sensitive having 4 knee surgeries myself. She was a real trooper. I appreciated her professionalism and positive attitude. I wish I had gotten her name so I could sing personal praises but I don't have it. Anyway it's a great store.

I love this Safeway! The people that work there have always been pleasant and nice and helpful to me. The place is clean and tidy. The food is safe and marketable. I love the location, but the lines can be intimidating. Even if it is a line marked as handicap, there is often a wait in line. They usually operate with one cashier it seems, although when the line starts to grow the cashier will summon another employee to open another check out line. As a handicap person, with a hard time standing in line I usually shop elsewhere if I am just getting one or two items. But if I am stocking up, it is great. And the hot food and fresh food available.at the deli is good and can often take payment at the cash register there. There might be more departments that can accept payment, but I rarely visit the bakery area or the flowers area. There is a Starbucks that is connected to the store and/or accessible from the parking lot as well. Relatively comfortable seating and ambiance in the Starbucks for someone who might be waiting or want to wait. The restrooms are 2 in number for the public, and being a single serve sanitation station with toilets are not gender specific

The bakery inside the store makes great customized cakes in decent prices. The cakes they make are so yummy 😋

Simple layout, easy enough to find what I need and go about my day. The staff is friendly enough for me and Safeway deals are on common grocery items that a person needs rather than just trying to make you spend an extra dollar on tempting sugar packed snacks..

A good store with great Chinese dishes and other great items, not carried by other places. Helpful Staff.

The store was fairly well stocked at 6 in the morning. They even had toilet paper. But they do have really high prices on soups, stews and chili. If you're buying those items, Amazon and especially Walmart have all of that back in stock at much lower prices. But for a quick trip to a close neighborhood store, this Safeway is great. Very friendly staff, too, except for that weird East Indian checker.

Best and fastest pharmacy on Aurora. We go here over 3 places that are closer because the staff are more competent, the meds are always in stock, and the wait for putting in an order in person is usually 10-20 minutes. Safeway itself is a decent grocery store, nothing wrong, but we do admittedly shop at a different grocery store that's closer when we're not in need of prescription meds. We did love getting to see what the self-checkout cashier did with his nails every week, so it's nice when we can the timing with meds works out to see him.

I am so thankful for the staff here. I left my wallet in the cart and completed forgot about it. They found it, made sure to find a way to get a hold of me and made sure it was safe. Nothing was missing and rosemary was fantastic in handling my items. Also thank you to Kyle for finding it and making sure it got in the right hands. I was blown away with their care and honesty. Something terrible could have happened but thanks to them it didn’t.

This is my regular store to shop for groceries. Well laid out, clean, and a pleasant staff. Good selection, and the produce and meat sections are well stocked. In-store deli for meals on the go or to take home if you don't want to cook. Nice bakery and they have a well stocked beer and spirits section.

Edit 8/20/22: This Safeway is now my favorite place to shop. Long checkout lines are no more - I rarely wait at all to check out. Plus, the place is never packed with shoppers like nearby QFC or Fred Meyer, which means I can shop without the stress of tons of people clogging up the aisles.

Edit August 2021: At some point within the past couple years, they added a self checkout! Upgrading my review - wait times are generally more tolerable these days.

Edit 3/11/18: today the lines extended all the way from the registers through the aisles. Only two registers are open. For the love of God please add a self checkout. If this Safeway weren't the only store within reasonable walking distance I'd definitely be hitting up Fred Meyer or QFC.
