Caliente Kitchen and Bar

This is our go to Mexican restaurant for great Mexican food! They have amazing classics, and their specials are wonderful to experience. It's also a perk that they're quite generous with their drinks.

The atmosphere is cozy, and the scent of delicious food tempts you as soon as you walk in.

We really enjoyed this place. The ceviche was great, as were the crab enchiladas in tomatillo sauce, and the street tacos. It was a little expensive for what we got (food and drinks) but very good.

Food has never disappointed us. We have gone here for lunch brunch dinner. First class food and great cocktails. Must try Mexican food

Came here while visiting Washington. Being from LA area, it's up there with some of the best Mexican food places. So good that we had to eat here a second time during our 6 day trip. Will definitely eat here the next time we visit.

This is our go-to Mexican place. We love the fajita street tacos, the tamales and the nachos. It's a smaller place and you feel welcomed every time you come in.

Had the chili Colorado for lunch and my wife had Pollo Ala creama. Both dishes were wonderful and the portions were good. Great lunch menu.

Warm colors and friendly atmosphere. Luis was our waiter and was obviously passionate about his job. He was friendly and helped us choose our Happ Hour appetizers to munch on. PLEASE TRY THE WINGS AND SALSA! I'm pretty sure the salsa for the wings is pure magic.

Great food as always. Their Caliente nachos with Carne Asada are amazing.

First time I have been in there and they were quick to say hello and get you seated. She came right over to get my drink order and was right back to take my food order. Food was delicious and prices were fair as well. I will go back!

Me and my wife Love this place. We are from San Diego area and used to Primo Mexocan food and haven't been able to get our fix very often this far North. This place is an Absolute Gem though. 💎
Awesome food, never too packed when we go, drinks are strong and delicious, prices aren't too high. Best Chilaquelez around. 👌 Can't say enough good things about them. Try for yourself.

We love this place. The food is outrageously delicious. They often make errors on to go orders. Sour cream is homemade and amazing. This is now our favorite Mexican restaurant by far.

May 2020: Great meal, safe ordering! We will definitely order there again. They took my credit card number on the phone, and dropped the food/drink in my trunk with mask and gloves. No contact at all. We ordered the carnitas burrito, carne asada, chile relleno, taquitos, and 2 margaritas. My son was crazy for the taquitos and rice and beans and chips. I've never seen him eat so happily (or so much!) We loved carne asada! Carnitas burrito was ok. It was all meat, and didn't see the other things included. But I put sour cream and salsa and it was great. I had the Agave Margarita. Yum!! Also ordered Cadillac Margarita, also delicious. They serve the to-go margaritas in canning jars. Salt is on the rim under the lid, I ordered "no ice." I would order w ice next time. 16 oz margarita was just 8 oz without ice. But it was delicious and generous alcohol. I adore the canning jars. You seriously could take home, open lid, and enjoy. Their bar is incredible. They also had nice holders like at Starbucks to keep the glasses from rolling around in your trunk! Glasses cost $1 each, if you want a drink you pay the surcharge. So fun to drink from a jar. 🙂 I will be back for the carne asada. Enjoy!

Last night we had dinner at Caliente Kitchen and Bar. The food was incredibly good. My wife and I shared a molcajete which has carné asada, grilled chicken, shrimp and chorizo. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be returning for more.

Excellent food! We’ve been here twice!!! Once for fajitas and another time for happy hour 🍻. Their happy hour is one of the best around. Highly recommend stopping here - tasty food and quality service. 😊

AMAZING! So quick, so delicious, authentic and just perfect. Instead of Taco Bell, go to Caliente. You’ll thank me later :) I ate my food to fast to even take a photo! Thank you for an amazing and cheap lunch!

Wow! That's what we have to say! We moved to the Seattle area from the Hatch, New Mexico area about 6 years ago and have been missing anything close to authentic Mexican food. Trust me, we've tried... Caliente has absolutely blown us away with the food, flavor, spice, service and amazing margaritas. If you're coming from the Southwest, please know there's no green chile, but the red sauce is actually chile, not bbq, and the queso is made with med/hot jalepenos (maybe not that hot, we may have developed cat tongues) but certainly beyond our expectations and sooo delicious! We'll be back again and again...I'll close with my opening...WOW!!

Delicious food and great service. Excellent happy hour M-Th 2-5 and 8-close. Tacos or Enchies 3.50, quesadillas, nachos and more $9, well drinks, beer and wine $5. Support this great local business!
