it's really too bad to see this place going under because of online sales but hey it is what it is. This place used to be the go-to plays for geeks to get any kind of capacitor resistor wiring computer cases whatever they had it, but now they don't have so much because of online sales. I used to always like venturing into fries and always buy something in the way out but now it's just changed. Still a fun place to visit but there ain't much to buy

Oh man, how do I describe thee? Thou art a geek's wet dream. Tough wow us with thine selection of electronic and computer miscellany. Thou art the only Fry's in the Seattle area, thereby making thy fans do the ultimate pilgrimage to Renton. Thou can fit 4 Best Buys in thy football field sized store. Oh, how I worship thee in all of thy glory.

This place is retail therapy for me. Lots to look at and a nice air conditioned walk on a hot day ;). Oh yeah I buy my computer junk here too...huge range and easy returns policy. Sometimes local just beats the online stores.

We stopped by this store because of the amazing deals they were having on some computer parts for Labor Day weekend. I was blown away by the amount of friendly service we received. When the graphics card we wanted wasn’t out on the shelf’s an employee came up and asked if we needed any help and went to the back to grab the one we wanted! He stayed with us the rest of our trip to guarantee we got all the items we came for. The lines were fast and they price matched an item for us. Definitely coming back here in the future.

We like this place a lot. Even though we live about 20 miles away we keep coming back. They always seem to have the one little item we need.

The store and parking lot is clean. The parking lot is usually crowded, sometimes with tractor trailer semis that take up the limited parking.

The isles are large, but the shelves are organized and well stocked. Almost always, there is some knowledgeable staff who know something about the parts I wanted to buy.

The prices are very reasonable especially when they will match any price online, guaranteed.

It's a different Fry's than years past, but not empty, not closing, and no closeout sales. Inventory looks about 60% down, but there are items for sale, well organized, in every part of the store. I wish it was closeout priced, but I'm happy to see Fry's still here with us. I'll try again next year.

Absolutely amazing deals with a huge selection. Such a wide selection of hardware, software, and all kinds of items.

Ten years ago this place was a dreamland for the tech- minded folk. It went from crowds like Disney land, to 10 in the store including employees. They're on a consignment model now and the shelves are bare. Some departs, like car audio, are just empty shelves that feel like bones long forgotten and left in the dirt. The coffee shop looked permanently shuttered and clearly people don't shop here in the age of Amazon.

5 stars, because they are still here trying.

I went to get a hard drive and that was accomplished very easily with the help of the young man in that department. As I was walking up to the register I noticed the hand sanitizer and the bottles of computer cleaner solution. On a whim I asked the cashier if they happened to have any isopropyl alcohol in stock. I have been to several stores looking for that to no avail. Surprisingly they did! I was very happy about that.

Fry's us a bit of a mixed bag, with the bag being mostly candy and toys but also the occasional thumbtack. Computer parts, connection cables and so much more are priced at good rates and found in one stop. Building anything computer or entertainment related - this place is a must. But not all the deals are sweet. Case in point: the managers special laptop was over $700 or $599 refurbished, but we waited and found the same *new* laptop for $519 at Costco. Video Only can often beat them on TVs but not always. Same for video cameras.

Guess to sum it up, Fry's is a good resource but definitely not the end-all-be-all shop they try to be. Still, for the things they are good at they are very good. In total its a win.

Staff is friendly and helpful, there's a wide variety of items. Prices are generally good and they price match online prices incl Amazon. For price match, it does have to be the exact item and sold by Amazon (for matching Amazon, obv) so it doesn't always work perfectly, but it's been a generally pleasant experience. Check out is fast and neat. If you have a (free) account with them, and give the phone number associated with it at checkout, you don't usually have to have a receipt for returns, as well.

With so many tech stores consolidating their inventory and changing their inventory types to make them more generalized. It's great to see a large electronics store maintaining a specialized environment, especially when you want to custom build something yourself. Also when you're looking for a more professional grade product than just some questionable consumer grade product. Being shopping at Fry's for many years and they have never disappointed when it comes to finding that specialty item your looking for. It saves the hassle of shopping online and waiting for a package to get shipped and hope it's what you ordered.

While I know there are some big changes with Fry's this year. I always find them to by the best, and sometimes only, place for all my electronic needs. Everything from cable testers to cable straps to work on my computers, cars, and a few basic repairs around the house.

They also have a wonderful selection of computers and accessories. I have enjoyed building out gaming rigs, gaming keyboards and mice, as well as killer headsets and presentation tools for work. Plus, I found some great laptop bags that makes life on the run a breeze.

This particular location seems to be running low on inventory, but don't let that discourage you from finding great deals. Their online shop is alive and well, and you can pickup items at the store or even get them delivered right to your door!

So happy I decided to give Fry's a try. The computer service has been amazing so far. I needed to upgrade my computer (due to very poor uneducated guidance when I bought my computer at Best Buy). These guys at Fry's know their stuff!! I knew I needed super performance for my CAD programs, but not in computer language. They directed me well and went above and beyond my expectations!
Unfortunately the fan on the computer is SO loud I had to search for a new computer. The good thing is the 30 day trial period... given the time it takes to set up and try a new computer, you really need that long...

I called into the store twice with questions as I looked online for a computer with a quiet fan and both times the guys were really helpful. (The guy who helped in the store was actually the last person I talked to on the phone and he totally remembered me and could quickly tell me that the replacement computer would be just fine)

Usually experience with big box stores is non-existent or ill-advise...and I kinda expected bad service and was probably boarder line rude because of my experience with Best Buy...and they were SO patient and helpful!!! So far... I love this place and I really hate dealing with computer stuff...

I like this store and consider it as an asset to the area!! We had so many good electric stores that ceased the ops. (for unknown reasons) like Radio Shack. So having Fry’s in an easily accessible location feels so convenient to hope and purchase pretty much everything you might need in electronic category, for good prices.

The employees at this store are always friendly and helpful when I come looking for something specific. They have a vast amount of gaming hardware and accessories that I like. They will match local prices, but do your research on their match policy before going to the store as they don’t match all prices.

Amazing! Screw Best Buy with their mark ups. We can not let places like this disappear! You can make an adventure out of this place. It's Soo massive! There is a cafe in the middle. They even will match online pricing!
