Have a new pup (Niko) and this place has been great so far for his vaccinations! The staff is awesome, friendly and very informative. They provide all the vet plans with no pressure to subscribe which I appreciate and lay it out if it would make sense for you which I appreciated! Dr. Hui (she's AWESOME and super smart) has been treating Niko with his shots and vaccines, and has been great with my concerns and questions I have as a new pup owner. Highly recommend and Niko loves coming here! (I kid you not, he's in a great mood after leaving here which is strange for a pup getting shots...speaks for the place!)

The staff at VCA Redwood are phenomenal.

They provided excellent care over the last year after we moved to the area and helped us keep our boy in good spirits before he started having sudden health issues in February.

When treating Art, they laid out all of the options as well as the likely outcomes and/or risks of each.

We ultimately decided to euthanize him given what we did know, and the risks involved with the procedures. However, they provided a very humane and gentle service and I will forever be grateful and appreciative of the care and respect they gave Art.

A week ago we sadly had to put our dog, Angel, down. This was the most difficult thing our family has ever had to do. Her family was there for the procedure, including the vet that took care of her most of her life, Jim Lahocky. If your vet sheds a tear for the last minutes of your dogs life, he or she truly is a phenomenal vet. Jim was there for most of Angels life, they became close, and Jim's "bedside" manner always comforted Angel, through cancer treatments, ear infections, and the little things we found ourselves visiting Redwood for, which were many. Jim gets right down in there at your pets level and makes them feel comfortable. You can talk to Jim, and even though Angel had the corner market on their friendship, I felt Jim was a friend too, and that relationship helped us give Angel the care she needed.

When I didn't want to face the fact that Angel had led a good life and was ready to pass, it was Jim who I took counsel of when I needed a more level head. Our dogs health was always our families top priority and if there were any questions, I always new Jim had the knowledge to steer us in the right direction.

All of the vets at Redwood are amazing. I recall one of the vets, Maria Baker, having to have her dog put down and it happened to be around the same time as Angel was diagnosed with Cancer. Maria eventually had to put her dog down, and she gave us insight into what we would have to eventually face should the disease take its course in our dogs life.

All of them are amazing... if you question your current vet, consider Redwood. I can't help but mention the front desk here also. Through the years they were always professional and always found a way to get you in as quickly as they could. What made them go beyond the call of duty was the day we had to put Angel down we noticed that a few of them actually cried. Those are people who care.

The Redwood family was our family. Supportive, loving, and in the end, the best place to have our beloved Angel cared for. Thank you all everything you have done.

Definite five stars for Ivana Hui...I am an older person who has had quite a few dogs in my life, Dr Hui is sincerely the best Veterinarian I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I was given a complimentary exam for my sweet dog (from the Humane Society). I thought great, what a wonderful way to consider someone to care for Ruby. Dr Hui took all of the time that I needed to answer questions that would help with training issues that I was having, concerns with possible things to watch for (Ruby is an older girl), and food and other choices that are affordable (without trying to upsell their products). I could go on and on. I am so happy to find a Vet who clearly cares about the animal as well as the owner. I highly recommend Dr Hui and Redwood Animal Hospital...the staff is also extremely helpful and kind.

My experience with VCA was excellent. My cat had stones in his bladder, so he had surgery there. The Doctors were phenomenal and Staff was knowledgeable, professional and empathetic. The staff followed up with me, answered all of my questions. They also educated me on a new lifestyle for my cat for preventative care. My cat has been doing wonderful since and has a happy go lucky healthy life. I would highly recommend this clinic.

We're on our third dog whose care we totally trust in this clinic to handle for us. We appreciate how they give us their honest opinion then listen to our concerns (including financial issues) and THEN give us options for us to make the decision that is right for us - without any pressure. When we had to euthanize Sneaker and then Riley it was handled with so much care and compassion for the dogs and us, that a terrible, heart wrenching experience was the easiest and 'nicest' that it could be. They even reached out to us a few days later to make sure we were 'okay'. They are a little more expensive then other clinics and maybe because we have history with the clinic they were willing to workout a payment schedule with us. We think the way the staff cares for and treats the animals and their willingness to work with the owners to provide the best care that matches individual circumstances makes it worth it.

My dog recently had a traumatic fall and Dr. West and her staff made me feel heard and took quick action to save my pup. They explained and called for updates while she was there, and then called everyday until she was doing better. I drive across town for their care, compassion, and patience.

I had a fantastic experience with Redwood Animal Hospital. My dog had a large bite wound from a coyote and needed to be seen asap. I had called many vets and been turned away because they were short staffed or didn't have time. When I called Redwood the lady who answered was extremely helpful and friendly. They were packed, but told me to come in and they'd see me as soon as they could.

I arrived, the staff was very friendly, and I was seen in a timely manner, despite the fact that they were busy. Only a few hours later I had my dog back, stitched up, drugged, and looking much better. I received home care instructions, meds for my dog, a cone, and the relief due to the fact that the ending cost was lower than the estimate I was given initially (which has NEVER happened to me at any vet- refreshing).

Overall, loved the staff and the quality of care given to my dog. These people care about animals, it's not just about the money.

The hospital is very cean, and the staff is very compassionate. They truly care about what they do. I've been coming here for 3 years and have seen all of the doctors at one time or another with my beagles and they've always been very kind and considerate of my budget. I currently have been seeing doctor Baker with my mother-in-law's very sick pomeranian and she has been very professional and non-judgmental when we chose not to treat an illness as the treatment would decrease his quality of life. For now we are managing his symptoms with doctor Baker's help and guidance. Thank you to all at Redwood Animal Hospital.

Dr. Farmer and the staff we're very knowledgeable and kind and very helpful to us. Our baby girl was having major allergy issues and dr. Farmer and the staff took great care of her they were very pleasant and helpful! We greatly appreciate all you did.

The staff at this VCA location are wonderful, and make me always feel that my dog is appreciated and loved. They have great amenities like boarding and pharmacy pickup too. I will continue to go to this location even if I move further away because the whole team make it amazing.

What a great team. We have owned 5 dogs over 33 years. So have had issues, and tried about 5-6 vets. This place and this team is the best. Lesson learned, if your pet is having issues, make sure your vet has the equipment to do proper diagnosis.

Took my German Shepherd Dog here when it seemed like he was having a bad allergic reaction. I called in the morning and they got me in later that afternoon. The staff and doctors were great and they took great care of my boy. I'd absolutely recommend it to other people looking for a vet in the area.

Our sweet 11-year old German short-hair pointer developed bleeding tumors in her abdomen and went down hill quickly. We needed to put her down to end her suffering. Our vet would not allow us to be with our dog due to COVID - we were expected to simply hand her off at the door. We made some phone calls and learned that VCA Redwood Animal Hospital would allow us to be with our dog. There was a separate entrance from the parking lot that led directly into the room. Our family wore masks and gloves. Dr. Lehocky was so compassionate with Lulu and us - even though we had never been there before and he had never met our dog. We were not rushed and Dr. Lehocky took the time to explain everything to us. While it always heartbreaking to put down a beloved pet, I felt better knowing that Lulu was surrounded by those she loved and was treated with dignity and respect. Thank you so much!

Always GREAT service, caring. My kitty is skittish and he bites. He is treated gently and actually almost likes going to the vet. Except for the car ride.
He just got his teeth cleaned. They sparkle. The better for him to eat you with?????

Called in advance and they guided me through all the options without pushing for additional unnecessary tests. I really appreciated the candid and honest opinions of the veterinarian on staff and they gave me back my ease of mind about the well being of my cat.

We always have excellent care for our fur kids here. We have been coming here for years with our German shepherds and the cat. Always love and caring with the kids from staff and very helpful to us humans too.

Amazing! I would rate this place higher than 5 stars if there were an option. The whole staff was so friendly to us and our sweet cat, Jack. They answered all our questions and helped us feel safe and comfortable. Highly recommend this place.

Redwood has been a family vet as long as I can remember, so I didn't know that I took this place for granted. A few years ago I moved to Issaquah and have bounced around to a couple different vets including another vca, nothing has compared to the friendly, knowledgable, talented staff at redwood. Overall great vet!

Fantastic service. I feel very comfortable having my cat in their care.
