Excellent animal clinic. Quick response to our needs. Expedient scheduling for both surgery and followup visits. Dr. Adams is a wonderful surgeon. The staff is professional, considerate and caring.

I would recommend this place to anyone with pets. The entire staff was the most kind compassion knowledge patient group of people i have ever experienced in any medical type setting/office. When the animal hospital had a 9 hour wait and I knew somthing was seriously wrong with my girl I called them. They were not only able to get her right in assessed and x rayed, but also save my girls life and do major surgery same day. The day of her surgery my hand was held as I had a panic attack. I was given the most comforting hug when I was sobbing trying to figure out the financial part of the surgery. I after the surgery, the 3 weeks of recovery I called atleast daily with questions. They were always so helpful and comforted me even over the phone threw the whole process. Dr Rouge was so kind and attentive not only to my dog but to me as well. I do not often to Google reviews but it's the least I could do for this amazing office of people. If I could give more stars I would.

Everyone at Poulsbo Animal Clinic has been super great to me and my pets. The receptionists are patient to listen and friendly to help accommodate needs, as are the techs. Dr. Rouge has a wonderful way with animals and is very kind and patient, and knowledgeable and informative. I could not ask for a better vet experience!

My surgery visit to Poulsbo Animal was probably the most enjoyable , professional, caring animal clinic I’ve ever had the pleasure visiting, the extensive surgery on my yellow Labs knee was a complete success, Bravo!! Thank you, Dr. Adams

I honestly can’t say enough amazing things about my experience here! They took such great care of Mikey for his surgery and were so thorough and just honest and fair. Also cut his nails just because 🫶🏼 I’m forever grateful for the care you gave my dog

Update 2023: we still love our vet and the people who work here Max is all grown up now and doing great! Also pictures is his Dad Huckleberry , sadly we lost his mom Dixie last year to bone cancer but Dr. Adams and his team was so caring with her treatment right up to the end. We can't think of a better Vet in town we would recommend

2021 Adams and his staff were absolutely amazing! They were able to fit us in for an emergency birthing appointment for Dixie when our regular vet was unable to. Their kindness, compassion and grace as well as attention to detail and affordable pricing is why we will be transferring our animals to this practice in the future.

I am so thankful for this clinic. Every single person was so kind, considerate and understanding.
We had a sick barn cat that I was growing very worried about. We are new to the area and have only been established at the base vet but they did not have the means to take an urgent case. After calling numerous clinics in the area to no avail and then being quoted $1,300 the phone by the ER clinic for an exam and to run tests on the cat, I was starting to panic. I got in touch with this clinic around noon on a Friday and they agreed to take him as a drop off. I was SO thankful. Then, when I went to catch our cat, he ran off into the pasture. I called them in a panic and they were still so calm & kind, letting me know to just call them back if I caught him. I finally got him and at 2pm they STILL agreed to take him! WOW.
The tech that triaged us was so sweet and took her time with him. A few hours later the doctor called with an update and her treatment approach was much more aligned with my expectations. She also was SO kind and helpful when explaining his situation and treatment. I picked kitty up Friday evening, paid 1/4 of what the ER quoted, got our boy started on some meds and have a happy, chipper kitty again less than 24 hours later. Could not praise this clinic & their staff highly enough to truly express how great they were. Will be a returning client for my other pets 100%! Thank you!

You never want to see your vet often. The goal is 1-2 times a year for checkups and a pat on the back. Unfortunately we got to know the staff at Poulsbo Animal Clinic Very Well when our kitten became terribly ill. The entire staff was so warm and comforting throughout the process. They kept us informed and worked with us trying absolutely every possible avenue to save our kitten.

We'll never stop being grateful.

Highly recommend. Hopefully you won't have a reason to get to know them as well as we do. But if the worst happens, you'll be glad you're there.

The customer service and quality of care at Poulsbo Animal Clinic is exceptional. My dog got injuries that required surgery, they got us in quickly, took care of his immediate needs and scheduled his surgery. He is doing amazingly well and I'm so happy that Dr. Adams is his surgeon and vet. I would highly recommend Poulsbo Animal Clinic for your fur babies excellent care!

The staff had a beautiful energy who seemed genuine and eager to help you in any way they can. It was busy in there but they didn’t let it affect their ability or demeanor. The doctor was attentive, listened and provided care with confidence and knowledge. Very happy to feel like my fur babe is in good hands. Thank you for being so wonderful!

Outstanding surgical team. Dr. Adams performed CBLO on our older pit bull and the recovery was much quicker than we expected. At eight weeks, he has healed and is almost back to normal. I highly recommend Poulsbo Animal Clinic. J Kingery

This office stayed open late to care for my nieces dog today. They were kind, caring and compassionate. All traits you want in a vet.

They took excellent and prompt care of my cat when he was in critical condition with a urinary blockage. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They explained his condition to me thoroughly.

Dr Adams explained everything we needed to know. I messed up my appointment time but they were gracious enough to get our dog in. I would recommend The Poulsbo Animal Clinic to anyone with a pet.

Dr Munday and her staff saved Bruno’s life when he was at death’s door after we left our old vet as he was dying with her care. They tackled his complicated history with fresh eyes and sensible testing and thoughtful meaningful strategies to bring him back after his sudden decline two months ago he is much better. I am sure it’s because they focused on him and all the info we gave them to try to understand his illness and give him the best care which has brought him back to life. Can’t thank them enough ❤😘😘🙏

I moved to the area a few months ago, and today my foster kitty--a dapper little 19 year old gent--started showing signs that there was a urinary issue. He has a history of bladder crystals, so I quickly started calling vets in the area to see if someone could fit him in right away.

Even though the clinic was fully booked today, the receptionist Kayla and Dr. Blanchette understood the time sensitivity of the issues he was having. Dr Blanchette went above and beyond by making time in her busy schedule to fit my beloved boy in!

I was impressed from the moment I arrived. The clinic is filled with warm, caring staff that are all good with animals, and loving pet owners with pets that are obviously well cared for members of the family. I could tell right away I was my kind of place!

Thank you Kayla for taking the time to find a doctor who could make this happen today, Dr. Blanchette for being a compassionate and receptive vet who is amazing at what you do, and assistant McKenlie (sorry if I spelled that incorrectly!) for comforting Cid and helping him relax during his exam. He obviously took a shine to you!

Dr. Adams is very thorough and compassionate. The entire staff are kind and considerate of their clients needs. I always know that Buddy will get the best care when I bring him in.
