I got a London fog today and it was perfect. My friend and I met up here to chat and work on projects together and the atmosphere was really nice: not too loud, fairly spacious, a little busy but that was expected for the time of day. A great place to come to do some head down work.

Love this place, it's super cute and comfy.

During the winter months when they have a chaider I would often pull up the n the car and run in to grab one before my work commute.

During the summer I like to sit outside and people watch.

Not really a working place, it's kind of small and not a place to sit for a few hours on a laptop.

The cutest cafe with plenty of space for work. Great drinks. Easy parking. Quiet space.

Delightful little neighborhood coffee shop. We shared a blueberry scone. I had the gingerbread latte, my partner had the peppermint latte and my friend had the oat milk latte; all were very good.

Service is hit or miss, the baristas usually seem tired. Coffee and snack quality is consistent, and they are always up front about whether they have avocados for avocado toast (usually the main thing I come here for).

Mabel is a coffee shop that from the front appears to be really small. But the look are deceiving indeed. When you walk to the front door you’re greeted by the barista. They have tea, lattes, pastries and to go items for lunch of breakfast. Like your regular coffee shop they also sell “day old” pastries. I grabbed a slice of pecan bread and it was delicious for $1.75. I also grabbed a hot oat milk latte with lavender syrup (my go to). After ordering from the bar there’s an entrance to a back room. That back room contains board games, puzzles, books, and many many chairs and tables. They have really good WiFi and the ambience here was just delightful. As I sat here drinking and eating I felt relaxed and at ease. The music they play in the background comes from their record player which you’re not allowed to touch but they have a large selection to see. Overall I’ll come back to this place to work on a project that requires my focus, or to finish reading my favorite book. I may even bring a board game and just relax with friends.

Happened upon this place in Ballard and surprised to find it served Bulletproof coffee (great for a quick brain recharge!) Added bonus was how nice the staff was and the chill hangout spot in back. Will definitely be back!

Ballard is bursting at the seams with coffee shops. I've been to many, maybe most, of them. The unifying theme of the neighborhood, for me anyway, is "meh" coffee at top shelf prices. Mabel bucks this trend by serving really solid coffee at noticeably more middle of the road prices. In Ballard, that earns 5-stars just by itself.

The fact that Mabel has much more seating than most, a unique atmosphere, and decent food while not taking an arm and a leg for better-than-average-for-the-area coffee is practically a miracle.

Mabel has your classic friendly neighborhood charm with ample studying tables, coffee punch cards, handwritten signs, books to borrow, and a record player which played mellow lofi while I was there at 8 am. The baristas were friendly and seemed to know many of their patrons. Coffee was quality although getting expensive all across Seattle (~$6.50 for 16oz oat milk latte). Can't wait to come back to try their food!

I really like this coffee shop! The staff are pleasant, and efficient. Great place to sit and talk in small groups or work. The beverages are great, and a good selection of pastries, bagels, etc. Good WiFi. The front seating area is sometimes a little noisy with the bustle of making drinks and serving customers, but there's the much larger back area.

Coffee is good, atmosphere is quiet, though it gets busy on the weekends. Lots of space in the back to spread out. Good for families with small children as well as pets.

Though if you're looking for a place to have a quiet conversation, there are probably better locations.

This place is a cute tucked away coffee shop that you could easily pass by if you were not looking closely enough.

I went here for the first time a few days ago and, the energy the place is very calming. The people who works here are very kind and very knowledgeable to answer questions you may have.
It is a great place to come and do work as there as a sprawling back area where a lot of people are reading books are on their laptops. And it is also place where well-behaved dogs and well behaved kids are welcome!

At first glance the menu appears to have all of the regular options, but as you looked deeper you notice there's so much more. From their smoothies which are made with more than just one or two ingredients, and with ingredients that you might think so only see at a juice bar, is really nice.

The first thing I tried was there pumpkin spice latte which while I'm not a big pumpkin spice person because I think most of the time it's just using syrups, they use real pumpkin here and, I've had lattes have used real pumpkin before, and this is a top contender Comet you can almost taste the pumpkin seeds( I even remember mentioning that to them as soon as I tasted it 🎃🎃. I also got their superfood Elixir smoothie with bone broth collagen which was quite tasty.

I will definitely be back!

Great spot for coffee, the location is awesome. You can bring in your dog. They serve Bulletproof. Lattes are solid. The people are all really friendly. I went in with my boyfriend and he asked if they could make him a pour over. One of the folks said SURE! And taught the staff, real quick, how to make an awesome pour over. It was super cool.

Great coffee and biscotti! Love this place, cozy, comfy and not at all like so many 'cookie cutter' coffee shops that have no ambiance. Mabel's is the perfect place to unwind after a walk throughout the neighborhood.
