They got my puppy in the same day and checked him out throughly! We are living here temporarily but I wish they could be our forever vet, they are that amazing. Also very affordable, you just can’t ask for a better vet. Thanks for taking care of my baby boy.

Very clean facility with friendly and helpful staff! Best of all Dr. Ansorge is a cat expert and provided us exceptional advice for helping our boy with his chronic allergies! They also have a low stress area to treat cats to make it easier on the cat and pet owners! Very cat friendly!!! They are dog friendly, too! And prices are comparable with other clinics in the area. Excellent experience.

We are new to Washington and this veterinary practice has been super. The staff are friendly and helpful when setting up our first appointment and they even accommodated us prior to our first appointment when my big guy started scooting across the floor. I think we are going to be very happy here!

Brought my cat in for a teeth cleaning. Communication before the visit was spot on including an electronic receipt of the estimate before the visit with an explanation of what actions/findings could affect the procedure and a reminder of the visit beforehand. The vet discussed her findings during the procedure and offered suggestions for future care which is much appreciated. The treatment was within the estimate, and the staff were all friendly and approachable. The vet tech actually reviewed my cat's visit records with me including sharing the dental X-rays. Clearly communication is a priority. I am very impressed with the clinic and really wouldn't want to take my fur babies anywhere else.

Dr. Hickey is amazing! Takes her time, very informative and supportive. Everyone here goes out of their way for you and your pet.

Amazing vet not only literally saved my 13 year old Golden doodles life, they are finding ways to give him the best quality, pain free QUALITY LIFE. Thoroughly explained all the options and continue to research the new pharmaceutical options for him. We see any vet that is available and thoroughly impressed with them all.

Everyone here is so kind and they clearly really care about our pets. We’ve been going here for about 8 years or so and they consistently hire the kindest people. I never feel like they are recommending unnecessary things or not considering us as individuals. They have our business for as long as we live here!

Took my kitten in for spaying, I always adopt older cats, so this was my 1st time taking a fur baby for an elective surgery, which I know was necessary , I really didn’t want to impose on a sweet kitten.

Despite all the information provided at the time of the checkup and scheduled surgery, I was still a nervous wreck the morning of when I had to handover my sweet kitty to Angela.

Needless to say, the concern was clearly visible and all the staff was reassuring and kind the try to keep my mind at ease.

I go the call a few hours later letting me know that it all went well, everything that they did and when to pick her up

When I picked her up later that afternoon, I was thoroughly informed and instructed with medications, what to expect, etc.. no rush, she answer any and all questions, making me feel very at ease with the decision

Early next morning, despite being a weekend, the follow up call

… and of course as a train wreck as I was… my kitty is as happy as a clam without a care in this world!!… as if nothing had happened, except for a very annoying cone that she has to wear for 2 weeks.

Bottom line… amazing care for animals AND humans!! 🥰

It was our first visit there last week and it has been the first time in years, I've felt really comfortable with a vet taking care of our dog. We've been treated very kindly, everything was explained well, and Dr. A and her team were really great. I didn't feel pressured into treatments and I really appreciate that. Thank you for taking care of us, especially Nubi.

I have been taking my 3 dogs (now 2 sadly) here for over 5 years! Pros - friendly and knowledgeable staff, make time for urgent care, gentle care of my pets, try to accommodate special requests, nail care services, respectful senior pet care. Cons - no emergency or home visits.

This Veterinarian office is the best. Dr Hickey is such an amazing Dr and person, she truly takes the time to get our dogs comfortable enough with her for her to fully examine and interact with our dogs on a level I haven't seen anywhere else. We have a couple of dogs who don't like the vet at all and we basically had to just not go to our old vet after COVID. Our dogs don't like being taken away from us and as such hadn't seen the vet in a couple of years. They are both rescues and associate vets and clinical environments with being abandoned. They both love Dr Hickey.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would without hesitation. The entire staff here is exemplary and the customer service and patient care is unparalleled. They have gone out of their way on multiple occasions to accommodate my pets needs. I recently got a new puppy who has an abscess that was infected. They had a full schedule but made sure they were able to fit him in to be seen. And on a Friday afternoon too! Then I got stuck in traffic due to a collision which made me an hour and a half late to the appointment but they still got him in to be seen. He’s having surgery tomorrow morning and I am confident he’s going to get the best veterinary care. I can’t thank the staff enough for their amazingness!

Dr Olson and her team took great care of our 11th month old lab puppy during her recent surgery. We were kept informed of her progress on the day of surgery and given instructions for her post operative care.

I've always had a great experience with Poulsbo Marina Vet. They are so sweet and really understand how much we care for our fur babies. We had the unfortunate experience of losing 2 of our fur babies this year. The staff Poulsbo Maria were so accommodating for both experiences. We miss our babies, but we are so thankful that they were cared for in the end and that we got to be there with them to cross the rainbow bridge.

Dr. Hickey and Brooklyn were very caring and compassionate while we had to put our dog, Cole down due to lymphoma. They let us stay through the whole procedure and explained all options. We have been with Dr. Hickey for over 14 years. We do not plan to get another pet, however if we did, we would definitely choose Dr. Hickey and staff at Poulsbo Marina Veterinary. I've been taking my cats to Poulsbo Marina for around 5 years now, and I love everyone at the office. Whether it's the yearly wellness check, a sudden health issue, or just a quick question; everyone at the clinic is knowledgeable, kind, and respectful. I can't recommend them enough.

We've been going to Poulsbo Marina Vet since 1993, so about 30 years. They have always been (and continue to be) all about loving care for our pets. They've nursed one back from near death and provided support when "the time" had come for others. Nothing but respect and thanks for their good works.

I was BEYOND impressed with Dr. Hickey. She is gifted with animals as evidenced by my slightly neurotic dog who seemed content to receive pets from this stranger! (Gasp) Vet tech Brooklyn was equally brilliant. I would give ten stars if I could.

Great experience! Every person that made contact with me was caring, considerate and professional. Treated me and my cat very nicely, they didn’t waste my time dragging things on and the prices were very decent. Making this my go-to vet for my 4 cats and my dog!
